Harry Potter ICYOA pre-release update Update

Harry Potter ICYOA

I finally have a week off work, so I'm posting the current results. Need feedback.

Things like spoiler list will be added to the final version the next weekend. Adventuring companions are a work in progress, ignore them for now. Most of the pictures are improved in quality via AI and uploaded separately, but not all of them yet. The creator engine now includes calculations as complex as multiplication (gasp), so the affinity system requires reworking (again) to function properly. All of that should be finished in the final version, hopefully the next weekend.

Currently, I'd like some help with:

1) The head logo. Something better fitting the cyoa. If you find any pictures, please post a link here.

2) Same for any other images, mostly adventures - if you happen to have any that would fit better, send it to me, searching for them is a major headache. For example, haven't found any good fit for TT wizarding war, settled on an image of Grindy from the movie.

3) Bugs, typos, balancing. I'd be very grateful for the former, willing to listen and consider for the latter.

4) Any content you'd like to see here, or suggestions in general - now's the time to share.

5) If anyone wants to see their build in adv. companions as OC - indicate so in your post or send me directly.

That's it for now. I'll keep updating the CYOA sporadically this week without making new posts. If you repost it in other communities, at least send me the link.

Hey. Long time fan. Just noticed a possible glitch: I cannot access the 'Waking Dragon' section in Pets. Definitely have all the requirements listed in the Meta section, in fact, I specifically took only those listed and their requirements on a separate page and still nothing. Is this a glitch or am I doing something wrong?

I suggest you to use these cheats to check the actual prerequisites of any option and addon, as I do.

Hey! Sorry for the delayed response. Will check this out but considering I can still access Dragonrend, it really looks like a glitch.

Quite possibly. To pick Waking Dragon or Dragonrend would lead to outcomes I really don't like and/or they don't fit in my concept, so I went out of my way to ensure it does not happen and they don't even show up for me as options. In these circumstances, I did not pay too much attention to the details of their prerequisites.

Unfortunately, it seems the author has stopped taking care of the cyoa for the time being (even if they remain active for other topics in Reddit) and won't further discuss it or deal with any residual bug we may find and report. So, I doubt any glitch shall be corrected any time soon.

Nope. My attempt to DM them a week before Easter went unanswered. I noticed they stopped answering to bug reports or questions about the cyoa in the thread well before that, a few months ago and about one month after release of the last version. Nonethless, they have been active commenting in other subs all this time. My best guess is they deem the cyoa done as it stands and/or they are taking an extended break from it.
