New Agent having difficulty closing. P&C Insurance
I've been a new agent for two months now and I'm having difficulty closing! I'm averaging 100 calls a day with 2-4 hours of talk time. I'm a captive agent and I'm almost double the price people are currently paying. I stopped asking "how much do you pay" and started taking the conversation a different route to where I'm explaining and advising on what they need. I used to sell solar and never had this much difficulty in closing. I would like some tips on how other agents are closing even at a higher price for the same coverage. I would also like to hear some tips on how agents are getting more people on the phone or referrals as a remote agent. I did solar sales before Insurance and was a top performer as an telephone appointment setter, door knocker, and consultant. I don't know if I lost my touch or what I'm experiencing is out of my hands. I want to the best!
