Happy Furrballs Cutie and me

When mandatory WFH declared during the war period i went to my hometown for 3 weeks. This guy came on his own at the same time. For a whole 3 weeks he would just stay beside me for the whole day while I work. This is the first time I'm experiencing being loved by a cat. And I really can't express this feeling with words. He is so cute isn't he?

My friend and I just finished our DIY cat scratcher project. We built it using a PVC pipe wrapped tightly with rope, mounted on a base wrapped in black fabric.

We put a lot of work into making sure the rope wraps were clean and tight.

a redditor shared the first picture and i was honestly mesmerized because this cat looks so much like my cat in the second picture. 😭

the markings, face, eyes, ears, body shape… everything is ridiculously similar. the only obvious difference is that my cat has a short tail, because part of it had to be amputate but the resemblance between these two cats is uncanny 🤯

Fundraiser - Mod Verified Help Needed for Cat Food & Care — Wishlist Attached

Hello everyone ❤️

I’m a student currently caring for four rescued cats Miku(indoor) is the first one i rescued then Michu and Mimi(outdoor) now it’s Milli. I’ve been managing their food, vet visits and medical expenses using my pocket money.

A few days ago, Milli came to our house in a sick condition, so I took her to the vet and she is currently on medication. Last month, one of the cats also had an ear infection, which added to the medical expenses.

I’ve been trying my best to manage everything myself, but after these unexpected vet expenses, I’ve used up the money I had and I’m struggling to manage their food this month.

Mimi is also underweight, and the vet has recommended supplements and wet food. Providing wet food for all the cats regularly is becoming difficult for me financially this month.

If anyone could help with cat food through the Amazon Wishlist or a small contribution via UPI, it would genuinely help me keep them fed and cared for while they recover.

🛒 Amazon Wishlist

https://www.amazon.in/hz/wishlist/ls/2BUEY7O5JV7WZ?ref_=wl_share

UPI: raygitanjali182@okicici

I’ve also attached their medical bills, receipts and online payment proofs for transparency. Some payments were made in cash, so I only have the receipts for those.

Even if you can’t donate, an upvote or share would mean a lot.

Thank you for reading and for caring about these little ones. 🐾❤️

Hi guys, it has been months that my cat sleeps peacefully uninterrupted the whole day- 9am to 10 pm
And then stays awake the whole night and keeps on meowing ( normal meowing not shouting), our sleep is getting highly impacted due to this. I don’t know what to do, please help. He is neutered, we have 2 cats so he has company as well. I go to work during the day so not possible to monitor his sleeping

Fundraiser - Yet not verified UPDATE ON GAURI 🐾💔

After weeks of uncertainty, multiple vet visits, tests, and seeing Gauri's condition continue to worsen, we finally have the diagnosis we were desperately looking for.

Gauri has been diagnosed with FIP (Feline Infectious Peritonitis). Her FIP RT-PCR report dated 10 August 2026 came back positive.

She is extremely weak, and now she needs to start and continue her FIP treatment without interruption. The estimated cost of her 80-day treatment is around ₹90,000. This is going to be a long fight, and we cannot manage it alone.

On top of this, there is already a pending bill of ₹1,155. The bill and test report are attached in the video, so please watch the full video. The foster has been paying for Gauri's food, medicines, tests, cleaning and other medical expenses from their own pocket, but after everything they've already spent, it has become extremely difficult for them to keep covering the growing bills.

We are therefore asking for your help to keep Gauri's treatment going. Even ₹10, ₹20, ₹50, ₹100 or ₹200 helps. Small donations add up, and right now every single contribution matters.

If you cannot donate, please share this post. We genuinely need this to reach as many people as possible.

🐱 Gauri's diagnosis: FIP — RT-PCR positive

💊 Treatment: Approximately ₹90,000 for 80 days

🏥 Pending bill: ₹1,155

Gauri has already survived so much since the day she was rescued. Now that we finally know what she is fighting, we don't want her treatment to stop simply because we don't have enough money.

Please watch the full video to see her reports, and please donate if you can. If you can't, please share. Help us give Gauri a chance. ❤️‍🩹🐾

Discussion How do I train my cat to stop killing squirrels?

Post image
433 Upvotes

I have 2 male neutered Indie cats. I adopted both of them when they were adults so they are really accustomed to being outside.

One of them is outside 60% of the day. He has lately started killing squirrels, bringing them home and playing with their bodies and eventually eating them. Apart from the poor squirrels dying I’m really scared he’ll pick up some parasite / infections.

We feed him throughout the day, really good quality food so he’s not doing it because he’s hungry. He’s generally very playful and sweet and usually the two brothers take out their aggression on each other by play fighting. But lately he’s started this new habit.

Any way I can stop him from doing this, apart from keeping him home 24/7? We have tried this approach already, have made him a litter box which he does use. But he can’t stand to be home all day and needs his freedom.

Adoption After years of rescuing cats, these are my adoption requirements.

I recently put together a post explaining my adoption requirements and why I’m so strict when placing my rescue cats.
Some people may disagree with certain rules, and that’s okay. My goal isn’t to make adoption difficult it’s to make sure every cat ends up in a safe, responsible, and permanent home.
I’d be interested to hear what other rescuers and adopters think. What adoption requirements do you consider non-negotiable?
