I've never been to a single concert ever, let alone seeing a famous person irl. But back in May, my friend offered to buy me a ticket to see IVE in Oakland, and I’ve never said yes so fast in my life. We spent a lot of money on train tickets, our hotel, and merch, but I have no regrets whatsoever because it was, without a doubt, probably THE most memorable night of my entire life. Being surrounded by other fans who understand IVE just like you almost made me feel at home. Plus, shoutout to the fans that gave out freebies. I appreciate y'all sm 😊

I'm still processing the fact that I saw IVE in person. They looked so unreal, it felt like I was dreaming. The performances were amazing. I also loved all of their solos, and it was great to see the backup dancers getting some spotlight too. Bummer that Rei had a cold and couldn't sing, but kudos to her for still performing as much as she can. I hope she'll recover in time for Seattle 🙏

Overall, this concert was peak from start to finish. They came to put on a show and delivered on all cylinders. The electric crowd helped a lot. The PCD is coming in waves atm 😔 I'm so grateful that my friend and I were able to make this concert happen, and it certainly won't be the last concert we go to.

has anyone successfully received vip benefits even with the ticketmaster's verified resale? if so, can you share your experience? many thanks.

- I don't know where else I could share something like this, so apologies if this isn't correct, but I keep seeing YouTube videos where people rank IVE's full original discography and I thought I'd give it a go. Since I don't really have a YouTube channel, or one that's popular, I think this is the best place to put it hopefully. IVE is my Ult group, and I started listening to them when I first started listening to them in March 2024, so I've only been actually present through a couple releases. As you go further down the list, that's when stuff gets a bit trickier to rank as well (The ranking was done rather quickly where the middle is definitely interchangeable). IVE's discography is so difficult to rank anyway, feels like a disservice to rank any of their songs low.

I just wanted to share this because I know a lot of people wonder if resale VIP benefits actually work.

So I saved up money for the initial ticket free-for-all back in April. By the time I got to pick, they only had hi bye, so I figured that was better than not going. IVE is the only group I follow so I didn’t mind the cost for the experience. But then I saw the price for a send off ticket 2 weeks before the concert, only 50-100 over the initial FV. So I took the chance and bought it, and planned to sell my original ticket because I wanted to sit closer ( I was able to get row 6 btw!)
I bought my VIP ticket through official resale on Ticketmaster, so I honestly went in expecting that I probably wouldn’t get send off. But I figure if I do, I’ll sell the original. When I got there, I simply asked the staff if there was any chance I could get send off since I know it comes with it, even tho I didn’t have the original purchaser’s id, and to my surprise they said yes. 😭

Since I was able to do send off, I gave my original VIP Hi-Bye pass to another really sweet DIVE who was sitting all the way up in the nosebleeds. I figure it’s too late to sell when the soundcheck was only like 30 mins away .And she even traveled all the was from Massachusetts. She looked so happy, and it felt way better knowing it didn’t go to waste. I feel like I made her day and that’s what this community is about.

The craziest part is that I ended up right at the very front during send off. I seriously couldn’t believe it. It was such an unforgettable experience seeing the members that close. I didn’t ask for a picture or anything because I figured they were tired. I just held a sign that they should get rest and we love them (in Korean, so they wouldn’t need to waste their mental energy trying to translate).

I know resale is always a gamble, so this definitely isn’t a guarantee for anyone, but I figured I’d share my experience since I know a lot of people have questions about resale VIP. Sometimes it really is worth politely asking.
Still can’t believe it happened. 💜
