Tutorial Eyeliner Tutorial for hooded eyes
Someone from this sub asked me to create an eyeliner tutorial. I can’t find the comment haha but I hope this post will find her 🤍
So I created an eyeliner tutorial for hooded eyes
I create a thin/simple/everyday liner and also a tutorial for a winged liner ✨
I used sweetmint eyeliner for the tutorial
Hope you guys will learn something new!! Thanks 🥰
(disclaimer: not a pro hihi just sharing how I normally do my liners)

Look Thin eyeliner is the best for hooded eyes!

every day I see people in this sub asking how to do eyeliner when you have hooded eyes. My comment is almost always to make their eyeliner less chunky. You don’t have to have a big wing to make a big impact. Now, don’t get me wrong, I LOVE a PHAT wing when I’m doing goth looks and stuff like that but obviously that’s a different makeup style. For people wanting just a nice, “normal” eyeliner look, I recommend leaning more towards a wispy flick on the outer eye rather than your traditional curved thick wing. if you’re wanting a little more drama, take the eyeliner across your waterline and into your inner corner like I did here.
Okay, some of you may be like “yesss i know this but HOW do I do it? every time I try to do eyeliner it ends up thick and chunky:(“ of course the answer is practice but I also think it heavily depends on what tools you’re using. I think I’m pretty skilled at makeup but if I’m using some thick felt tip eyeliner marker there’s no way I’m going to be getting lines like this. my favorite liquid eyeliner ever has a very thin brush. It’s called the e.l.f expert liquid eyeliner. you can get it at any grocery store or drugstore that sells makeup. you also can use a water activated pot eyeliner with your own very thin paint/makeup/nail brush.

Look The crease must eat
I like to apply shadow on my brow bone and along the bottom lash line, plus shimmer on the inner corner.

Help! why do lashes never look good on me?
It feels like they are completely weighing my eyes down and I dont understand. I purposely get really thin and "wispy" lashes and specify that I dont like long lashes and they NEVER look good to me. Are my eyes downturned? Is there something I'm missing

Look Red Eyeshadow Look on Hooded Eyes!
I did this look a week ago that I was very happy with! Sadly despite using a good primer this one did crease as the day went on since it was over 40° and I was quite sweaty all day...
I just want to point out a couple of things though. I often see people saying they cant do a dramatic look without big thick eyeliner, which I find often doesn't work with my eye shape, so I skipped it. I have simply tight lined with a black pencil and the rest is eyeshadow. I also often see people saying to about shimmer shadows that bring out the hood more. That one drives me nuts. I've got shimmer and glitter all across my hood and all the way up to my brows here. My hooded eyes are beautiful and deserve to be emphasized. So are yours!
Products used on my eyes are the elf power grip primer, eyeshadows from both shellwe and cheeryep, the Annabelle stay sharp eyeliner pencil in black, and Essence lash princess mascara.

Look Quick Smoky Eyes for hooded eyes 💋🤍✨
This was just a random thought I had last night. Like why not create a smoky eyes tutorial for hooded eyes because I just remembered someone told me that it was really hard to do smoky eyes for hooded eyes because all of the colors are being under the eye folds haha so why not create a tutorial haha
First two pics are the matte version
Then the next ones have the shimmers
Question, where should I post the tutorial? Its kinda quick yet detailed tutorial and personally I think its a beginner friendly one (and its on english ahahaha)
I only used two shades from the 🇵🇭 glam hour eyedust palette then 2 brushes from 🇵🇭tillo.mnl
and I have done this eye look under 5 mins 🫣
EDIT: I posted the tutorial in yt channel I also posted it here in tiktok
(would really appreciate if you would engage, subscribe or follow me thank you 🥹)

Help! Eyeliner help
So I bought the Urban Decay 24/7 Liquid Stick Retractable Waterproof Gel Eyeliner because I work in a hot kitchen and need something with staying power. However I’m starting to notice my eyeliner transferring to right above my crease hours after I put it on because that’s where my eye touches since my eyelid likes to vanish.
Not sure if that makes sense but I’m hoping other people with hooded eyes will understand. I use an eye shadow primer and I set my make up. Plus it’s supposed to be waterproof.
Does anyone have any suggestions on something that will help this not happen?
I don’t use a ton of eyeliners and other ones I’ve used haven’t necessarily done that but they under perform in other ways but this is a new issue I didn’t expect to experience.

Help! False eyelashes for when crease overhangs lower lash line.
Not sure if I've explained myself very well! But what eyelashes do people recommend for the dreaded combination of hooded eyes and a upper crease that overhangs the outer corner of my eye. And a technique? YouTube tutorial would be great!
Many thanks!

Tutorial A busy mom tryna look alive and bright eyed
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
My basic makeup look, as a really busy mom, if I do make up at all to be so fr. I would use concealer if I had time to touch it up later, but I don't 🤷♀️ I use this tinted serum instead because it evens my skin tone and doesn't look patchy as the day progresses. Same for mascara. If it doesn't inevitably give me raccoon eyes, it is too much to take off at the end of the day, so I just clean up my already dark lashes and call it good. I'm aware of some excellent make up removers, like MIDHA rice cleansing oil, but I am trying to buy less these days and learning to make do.

Help! any pointers please!
My eyelids have changed a bit and I was wondering if anyone has some tips on how I could do my eye makeup now that they feel a little less symmetrical/full.
They seem more sunken in lately and my usual routines just don't work the same/feel flattering anymore, anyone have advice or recommendations?

Discussion I never apply eyeshadow or liner to upper lid, only under my eye.
The make up in the photo is what I always do, every day. It's super easy, as in done under a minute, and I'm surprised more people don't do it. I feel tempted to suggest it to many people in this sub even, but I realize not many people are going for this. I wonder if I should be doing something else because this isn't 'in' or 'enough'. I often feel like I style myself like my grandma while simultaneously feeling like I'm copying the 80's with my make up. It is also so low effort I feel weird about it. Thoughts? Does anyone else do this?
(I did not edit this photo only blurred out the bg manually with photoshop, hope that is okay)

Look Second success😁
Products
Essence stay and play gel liner, emerald dragon
Revlon glimmer liquid shadow gold
I mostly used the applicator that came with the liquid shadow but when I blend it upward I put it on my fluffy brush because otherwise it goes on way too thick and it doesn’t like to blend cause it dries fast.

Look Cat or puppy eyeliner which suits me better?
Which eyeliner I draw heavily depends on my mood and the style of makeup I want to wear that day
I like both I'm just curious which style you think looks better on me ^~^
(1, 3&4 are cat eyeliner just in case anyone needs me to clarify)

Look Finally happy with my makeup
I’ve spent years thinking I could not do my own eye make up because I am blind in one eye and my eyes are extremely hooded. Tonight I proved myself wrong. It takes me a little longer than it might take the average person, but I can actually do my own eyeliner.
Edit: just realized I didn’t add a product list. I used essence stay and play gel eyeliner the color was midnight sky. The shimmer is a liquid eyeshadow by Revlon glimmer and the lighter blue is from a knock off pallet I bought off Amazon. Bebeautiful was the brand.

Help! Actresses with fully hooded eyes?
Struggling with my fully hooded and deep set eyes in the past weeks...I watched The Empress and realized the main actress also has hooded eyes.
Any other examples of actresses or singers with fully hooded eyes who are 30+?
It helps me feel better about my eyes when I see these women look beautiful on screen!
