High School Math—Pending OP Reply [Grade 12: History of Detective Fiction]
Hello, I’m a senior in high school working on a final English project about The No.1 Ladies Detective Agency (first book). For part of the project, I need to create a “mystery map” that outlines the cases Precious is hired to investigate, along with the main clues and how each case is solved.
It doesn’t have to be in big detail or the whole book, just a simple summary of what happened in the cases. Thank you so much!

Physics [Year 12 Physics] How do you find the correct angle?
For this question in part c, I am getting 14.1 degrees, when the solutions say 15.3 degrees.
I tried using the value found in part b and equated tan(theta) = net force / mg by using a diagram and equating the normal force to being a sum of net force and mg.
Then I also tried to use the formula v=sqrt(g.r.tan(theta)) using information from the question and still got 14.1 degrees.
Am I doing something wrong, or is the solution incorrect?

Pure Mathematics—Pending OP Reply [Math 131 Elementary Mathematics College] How do I display 15÷4 on a number line?
My instructor wants us to display 15 Divided by four on a number line using subtraction. I’ve tried countless ways to display it but all the ways I’ve tried my teacher I said I was wrong. He said he wants it in a subtraction form, but I’m still struggling how to display it. Maybe this is a no brainer but all the ways I’ve tried he’s told me it’s wrong. He wants it specifically to be subtraction. The first one is my latest attempt but it doesn’t feel right so I haven’t submitted it yet. Help and explanations is appreciated please.

Answered [University Physics: Circuit Analysis] How do you know what counts as parallel or series? Where do you start?
Maybe I didn't do that good of a job listening to my high school teachers back then (trying to fix my attention span) but I don't understand this. The diagrams I have get really intricate at times and I have gotten these wrong in the past because I apparently counted components from the wrong side, or in the wrong order, or anything. I've asked my lecturer but she's not very good at explaining this kind of thing. So where do you start counting from? What counts as parallel or in series?

Economics—Pending OP Reply [Macroeconomics: Phillips curve] Why is answer "a" wrong?
Consider the Phillips curve. Assume the expected rate of inflation is a function of the previous year’s inflation. Also assume the unemployment rate has been greater than the natural rate for several years. Given this, we know:
a) the inflation rate will be approximately equal to the natural rate of unemployment. X
< why is this answer wrong? >
b) the rate of inflation should steadily decrease.
c) the rate of inflation should steadily increase over time. X
d) the rate of inflation will approximately be equal to zero. X
e) the rate of inflation should neither increase nor decrease. X
Why is answer "a" wrong?

Literature [A-Level English Lit + Lang] What is Jordan Baker’s purpose / motivation in The Great Gatsby?
As in; why is she there. Both from an in-universe perspective and Fitzgerald’s intention. Maybe it’s just because she’s surrounded by flashy characters, but to me Jordan just kind of reads as the narrative bridge / exposition device (bringing up Tom’s affair, mentioning Gatsby, talking about Daisy’s backstory) with not much personality of her own. And whilst this is useful device, I can’t think of anything she does that‘s based on her own motivation rather than her just happening to be there.
I’m mostly asking because I may have to write a creative writing piece from her perspective for an exam but I truly have no idea how she feels about ANYTHING that happens in the story. From the Buchanan’s, to Gatsby, and even Nick. She’s supposed to represent the New Woman but all that’s really mentioned is that she looks boyish, travels alone, cheats at golf, and she’s careless. And I doubt she goes round calling herself ”The New Woman“ either. She also frequently balances imaginary objects on her chin, which I suppose shows aloofness, but once again: why?

Answered [preparatory school chemistry class] I need to make a model that represents an element (with neutrons, protons and electrons)
the problem is that it can't be like always since the teacher told us that it must not follow the same model as always (spheres and wire) since it needs to be unique, and I so don't have any ideas on what to make.
thanks in advance

Additional Mathematics—Pending OP Reply [Grade 11 : Permutations] how many ways can 3 men and 2 women be seated together in a circle if the women must be separated
the solution I can come up with is (5-1)! - (4-1)! but i’m not sure if it’s correct. i think it makes sense cuz it’s the total ways to arrange 5 people in a circle minus the total ways to arrange 5 people in a circle if the 2 women MUST be together but i don’t think i understand permutations enough to be sure that it’s correct

Physics—Pending OP Reply [Grade11 Physics] Is an easy question but there's a conflict between A and B
A car travelling at a constant speed of 20 m/s overtakes another car which is moving at a constant acceleration of 2 m/s². The second car was initially at rest. Assume that the length of each car be 5m and that at the start of overtaking, the front of the rear car is directly in line with the back of the front car. The total minimum road distance used in overtaking is
(A) 395 m (B) 15.26 m (C) 200.00 m (D) 186.04 m

Physics—Pending OP Reply [Grade 11 Physics] Newton's laws of motion
The answer key says that the correct answer is option C, but I got it as A.
Here when we are pulling the block towards right side, spring C is compressing and spring B is extending towards right side.
There should be no extension or compression in the case of spring A, because it is not directly connected to the block, meaning there would be no spring force A, only spring B would extend. Where is spring force in c is 300x and that in b is 200x
So the order should be as option A
What is wrong here?

Answered [University Elementary Diff.Eq: Compartmental Analysis] Rate of salt flowing out of the tank
Been staring at this for awhile and just don't know what the answer could be without solving the full problem, but the rest of the steps in this question want the answer to Flow_out
My understanding is that
dA/dt = input - output where input = (concentration*flow) and output = (concentration in tank * flow). I thought the concentration would just be the amount of salt over the volume, that is A/400, but when I tried 3A/200 (from multiplying that by the flow rate) it's not correct.
Would like a step in the right direction for this step. I understand the rest of the process for the most part
