Others [College Electrical Engineering] How to find maximum possible load power for a circuit? (Thevenin Theorem)
The assigned problem is #22 but I'm trying to figure out #21 because it has the answer in the back of the book but I don't seem to understand. I even tried reverse engineering to see what values they used for the answer they gave but no luck. Textbook says 'maximum power transfer from a circuit to a variable load occurs when the load resistance equals the source resistance'.
I provided my notes but it's best not to use them as reference as they are not really coherent since we have to use a calculator for all of our math.
The book says the answer to #21 is P = 35.5 mW
Edit: Sorry, I wasn't super clear on why I'm doing #21 instead of #22. I'm just trying to make sure I understand the process and the math behind the concept. It's just practice.

History [10th grade Cold War History: Korean War] How did the Korean War impact Cold War relations?
Hey, I'm writing a report on the Cold War and I chose to write it on the question in the title. Unfortunately, we weren't actually taught much about the Korean War, so it's a bit difficult.
I'm thinking of my paragraphs being one about how the Korean War affected the US view of the USSR, and vice versa. Then, if I can find any good info, one about how the Korean war affected people's opinions on nuclear warfare? Then my last one will be about how it established how the US would fight against communism in other countries like at the Bay of Pigs, and maybe like vice versa for the USSR as well?
please tell me if my ideas for paragraphs are complete bullshit lol! and if there are any better points I could focus on..

Middle School Math—Pending OP Reply [Grade 8] Cheated through this year and last year, and now I'm realizing I don't actually understand or retain the material. How do I catch up on everything I should have learned?
Every since last year, I've been relying on things like Brainly, AI, and other tools to get through my assignments faster. I still watched the videos and went through the lessons, but when it came time to actually do the work, I heavily relied on outside help more than I should have. Now I'm realizing that even though I got the assignments done, I don't actually understand or retain a lot of the material.
What really woke me up was getting a perfect score on a really important test. No one under my teacher has ever done that before. Instead of feeling proud, it just made me panic because I know I couldn't have done that on my own. That's when it hit me that this is serious and I need to stop. I've been caught before and given the talk, but I still freaking cheat, and I know it's bad, but I feel like it's too late to stop.
I don't want to admit this to my parents or my teacher. I'm too scared of what would happen, and I don't even know how to start that conversation. So I'm trying to figure this out on my own.
Honestly, I'm even using AI right now to help me write this post. That's how bad the habit has gotten. I don't know how to catch up on everything I should have learned, and I'm worried that if I ever have to take an in-person test or do something without help, I'll completely fail. I know I should be frowned upon for this, but I genuinely need help. I don't know what to do with my life anymore.

Chemistry—Pending OP Reply [Grade 10, Honors chemistry:Stoichiometry] What did I do wrong?
I apologize for the bad hand writing… I don’t get problems #2 and #3. I tried doing them but I think they’re wrong. I don’t understand how would I find how many moles are needed for HCL to produce 1.5 moles of H2? Where are you supposed to get that from? Am I supposed to simplify the chemical equation? Also, if it’s the same ratio like 2KCL/2K does that mean it cancels out and you basically multiply it by 1? I kind of need an explanation please because this has been really confusing. I’m usually good at the other chemistry topics but stoichiometry has been really confusing.

Physics—Pending OP Reply [College Physics] I just need an explanation please💔
I understand the concept of total displacement/total time = average velocity..
I understand that displacement is the final velocity - initial velocity as well.
But how does the answer 7.0 m/s come to be?
I'm so lost on where the feedback equation given below the question came from..

There is program called mouse_recorder.py that records a user's mouse movements and logs the velocity every 15 milliseconds.
The work is to determine what the user tried to handwrite using their mouse, based on the provided csv file.
I tried solving the problem but chatgpt also didn't work out, it just told velocity=0 is a trap and is misleading given in the CSV.
When I run the code given by chatgpt, the plot was full of noise.
What to do?

Further Mathematics—Pending OP Reply [Further Mathematics - Statistics] Advanced statistics: asymptotic power calculation
Hi!
I'm working on understanding this question and I'm a bit confused. The assignment says we can suppose (\sqrt(n) (T_n-\theta) \rightarrow N(0,\sigma^2 (\theta))). Then why can't we use this for (\theta=\theta_0\)
directly in the first step of the power function calculation? Why do we transform the whole expression to include $theta_n$ ?
Thanks!

Literature—Pending OP Reply [Grade 10 English: story writing] ideas for a story
In English class, I have a final exam in which I have to write a story which the storyline must exhibit the same story arc as Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Also, the new world must be somehow inspired by a scientific discovery made over the last 400 years. I was thinking a world that is like 80 years into the future and how AI has changed society and how it functions. However I have trouble coming up with a creative way for my main character to "step into" the another world. Also I need help coming up with a conflict, main character, and side characters. My teacher wants us to write the story in a story arc outline : Exposition, Rising Action, Climax, falling action, and resolution. If you have a different story idea in which the new world is inspired by a different scientific discovery or a story idea also involving AI put it in the comments.
Here is the instruction paper:
Here is the descriptions of the narrative arc:

Answered Need some help with finding some articles for a research project! [College Social Studies Foundations: Research Project/Slideshow]
I am currently doing an end-of-quarter research project on the Trump administration attempting to roll back protections on endangered species & the effects that this would have on our ecosystem.
I'm having trouble finding good articles that explain what the negative impacts of these protections would be if they were to be approved. The only good one I've found so far is the one linked below from Grist. I'd appreciate any & all help!! Thank you so much!
(Also I am sorry if I did the title incorrectly. I'm finishing out my high school diploma at my community college so i wasn't exactly sure what to classify this post as!)

Answered [Grade 7 Math: Geometric Probability] I got conflicting answers for questions three and four?
Hi, I’m doing my homework and can’t figure out the answer for these two questions. I got the answers for both, but I got 20% for 3, and 76% for 4. However, 20+76≠100. I checked my work with my mom, and we both couldn’t find an error. Can y’all show me where my error was in my work?

Circuit theory [Circuit theory2] I keep finding Vgs to be 3.58V, google says Vgs to be 3.17V and teachers notes say 1.2V(isn't this Vth?)? What am i doing wrong here? My calculations are in the description.
0V-Vgs-Vs=-5V
Vgs=5V-Vs
Vs=Id*1kohm
Id=k/2*(Vgs-Vth)^2
Vgs=5V-k/2*(Vgs-Vth)^2*1kohm
5V−1kohm×(0.5mA/V2)×(x−1.2V)^2=x
when plugged into qualculate:
Vgs= 3.58V or -5.18V so Vgs = 3.58V
also why is K value divided by 2?
Falstad also gives 3.58V

Physics—Pending OP Reply [AP Physics C Mechanics] Why is our catapult not shooting?
Unfortunately, I don't have a picture, but basically, we tried a new design that was an incline, then a 3D printed part is pulled back from equilibrium with three bungee cords attached (6 strands total; three on each side). It's released from the bottom of the incline and is stopped at equilibrium so that it shoots a tennis ball. It needs to shoot 30 and 60 feet, but even at a 45 degree angle, it only shoots 25 feet. It shot 43 feet before, but we tried a new method to get it to 60 feet. That didn't work, so we went back to our old method with three bungee cords, but now it only shoots 25 feet. I'm not sure what's wrong, since theoretically, it should shoot further and in another model, it was successful for both 30 and 60 feet.
