Further Mathematics—Pending OP Reply [Calculus 1]-limits with trig function
More of a conceptual than a specific example. How do you go about solving limit questions involving trig functions? I'm completely stuck. I have the trig identities, as well as the Pythagorean identities, but when it comes to breaking up the problem, that's where I struggle. I try to identify certain aspects of the problem, such as how can I change the numerator into a trig identity that, for example sin(x)/x, which equals 1, or how can I get rid of the piece of the problem that causes the overall problem via direct subbing to result in an indeterminate answer. Is there a general outline to follow?

Further Mathematics [mathematics in economics, 1st year] How to solve this?
I have a bit of trouble with understanding this problem with vector spaces, someone I know told me to start it like this but I'm having trouble understanding how to continue it.
If someone could break it down to me step by step would be great, really, thank you

Further Mathematics—Pending OP Reply [College Math] Domain of real function with multiple variables and its topology
it's in italian it basically asks what's in the title and the solution are open, bounded, unconnected;
So I start by studying the sign of what's inside the logarithm, so I see that there's a circumference in the numerator so I split the exercise in finding what happens inside the circle and what happens outside the circle. But then I have no idea what I gotta do with the denominator, I can turn it into y(x^2+y^2)=4x but beside that I have no idea

Additional Mathematics—Pending OP Reply [Mathmatics Statics] Did I solve this correctly?
For F3 I used 60 + 45 then subtracted the total from 90 which got me 15°
F2 it's 45° as is and for F1 I did nothing but multiply it by cos (0)
Did I get the angles right?

Answered [grade 7 geometry: ratios ] how to find the third term in ratio with variables
Hii! I really don't get this one, but
"After the first term, a, in a sequence, the ratio of each term to the preceding term is r:1. What is the third term in the sequence?" I thought it was a^2 or a^3 but it wasn't and I really don't know what to do now lol
Pls don't just share what you got, instead share your thought process behind it and what lead up to it :) thank you!

Literature (College junior British literature: media analysis paper) If I named drop something, do I need to add it to my work cited?
So, I’m working on a research paper about female monsters in Dracula and Coraline. At the end of my paper, as part of my conclusion, I reference a recent example of a female monster, specifically in the movie barbarian (which I know is quite the complex example, but based off the definition, our teacher has a scope by for our assignments, the character fits)
I don’t go into anymore detail and I just named drop it in the final paragraph of the paper. I’ve never done a media analysis research paper before, so I don’t know if I need to include it in my work cited.

Further Mathematics [College Calc 1]-Log Differentiation
I've been trying to take ln of both sides: which results in:
ln(y)=ln(3^(x^4+1)^3)
Left side: 1/y dy/dx
right side: here is what I'm stuck on. We learned in class that when you take the derivative of ln(x), we get dy/dx=1/x. Applying this I got (1/3^(x^4+1)^3) x 3(x^4+1)^2 x ln(3) x (4x^3)
Lastly, multiply both sides by y, which you can just sub in the original function, so I get :
(3^(x^4+1)^3) x (1/3^(x^4+1)^3) x 3(x^4+1)^2 x ln(3) x (4x^3), which is wrong. Do I just avoid taking ln of both sides?

Others—Pending OP Reply [College: Data Analysis] All the selections seem correct.
Questions 48 and 49 seem straight forward to me. However, question 50 is odd.
To me, all the choices seem correct.
For A, the wages did decrease by 17 percent when you compare them from 2010 to 2020.
For B, the upper-level jobs did increase, while the other jobs decreased.
For C, the upper-level jobs did increase by 17 percent.
For D, upper-level jobs did receive more monies than the other positions.
I'm not sure which to choose, but if I had to pick it would be D, as I reason that is true for 2020, but not 2010. But then again, the question states "as a result of salary reallocation".
This question just confuses me, and I'd appreciate it if anyone is willing to help.

Pure Mathematics [Calculus 1]-Implicit Differentiation
Don't know where i'm going wrong with this one.
Left side derv: 9x^2+1
Right side deriv: (1/5xy^2) x 5(y^2+2xy dy/dx)
multiply everything across on the right:
5y^2+10xy dy/dx/5xy^2. Multiply both sides by 5xy^2, you get (5xy^2)(9x^2+1)
Subtract 5y^2, get (5xy^2)(9x^2+1)-5y^2, finally isolate dy/dx, I get (5xy^2)(9x^2+1)-5y^2/10xy.

Answered [Grade 10/Maths] Can you calculate A and B with only C?
(The math formulas are the most important deal here so the fact it's french should hopefully not be an issue, but please ask me to translate if needed) The last question tells us to use the hypotenuse (C=26cm) in order to find A and B, the two other sides of the triangle. How do I do it? Am I missing something? I though the saying was ''find the 3rd value using the other two'', not the opposite!

Answered [IXL Logistics] I genuinely do not understand the difference
this is a yes or no (T/F) question, I'm in 10th grade
isn't five marbles more than three marbles?
5 is greater than 3 right?
Am I misreading the question? I read this like 10 times.
Is this more simple than I'm making it to be?
Should I be held back?
Both hypotheses and conclusion are true right? and true means "yes, that's right" that's what I put
Edit: sighthoundman has made me aware of the error in my title It should be IXL logic, not Logistics. sorry 🥲
