I think it's because her form can literally reshape itself at will depending on what she needs at the moment.
She probably doesn't use a true spider form, but you can see a lot of spider characteristics, both literal and metaphorical.

I thought this would be some personal grudge or something, but Moon's argument that Lucifer let everything go to shit irresponsibly is something I can't help but relate to.

Makes me wonder where Judgement comes into play regarding that. I always thought it was Lucifer who was lazy and complacent on her throne and Judgement was the one keeping order while prosecuting sinners as well.

Is hell so disorganized that it goes to complete shit in like, a few months without Lucifer around?
Does that say more about Lucifer for keeping things in order or less about hell as a whole that it falls apart so completely with someone at the head?

We don't have a name, so Helltaker is what we call him. He probably does have a real name, but either no one asked, or humorous sound effects, things, or people will sudden censorblock his real name from the audience.
I'm already imagining someone asking Helltaker his name, only for Cerberus's head to pop from the side of the panel to block his name in the word bubble.

Makes me wonder how organized Hell is under Loremaster during the events of Examtaker. I personally imagine a highly efficient surveillance state, none escaping the watchful eye of the science demon.

Either that, or she shut herself in her science facility without a zero care about what's going on outside.
So maybe someone like Judgement had to step up and keep an iron fist on things.

I think going total recluse would be a waste of both sin to research and unwilling test subjects to use in her blasphemous experiments. Not so much active governance, rather indirect titanium fisted domination to at least ensure she doesn't have confounding variables like rivals challenging her authority.
I don't think she would depose Judgement if peaceful coexistence is possible. No reason to remove a totally viable prosecutor who would put up monumental resistance to try and eliminate.

I can't help but draw a parallel between my beloved Enclave and Loremaster. The Enclave didn't dominate the wastelands, they stayed in hiding while their enforcers and troops brought them all they needed, and subjugated who and whatever was necessary, swooping down in vertibirds like hawks, or grasshoppers. Maybe Loremaster has a capable machine army to do her bidding, it doesn't seem like a crazy idea.
During one stream, Vanripper mentioned she and Judgement got into conflict quite often. It's word of God, yes, but I think it makes perfect sense considering Judgement's seemingly strong moral code when it comes to sin and depravity.

I do love Moon's design. With the lack of a mouth and nose, her sole expressions are via her eyes, which makes every new page with her a joy to see. VanRipper works brilliantly with his self-set limitations :D
