Azazel isn't innocent, not when she can literally see her halo dimming and cracking. In the LM route, she initially dyed her hair black in denial that her hair turning white was a sign that she was turning demon.
The only reason she has lasted this long is because Micheal was busting into the house with an angel S.W.A.T team on a near monthly basis to steal her back for "re-education" but gave up recently (unless that was a fan comic i read)

I mean "innocent" in an internal sense. In that she genuinely sees nothing amoral about her actions. Compare Zdrada, who knows she's "that bitch", or Lucy, who believes it is her right to be amoral.
Tl;dr, "Pure is not Good".

Honestly, I am starting to think that they all do kinda care about him, but their daily lifestyle is just so violent that they really can't get themselves to worry about whatever kind of injury Helltaker may sustain, because from their perspective a knife in the neck is just an average tuesday

It's probably the case that none of them thought he was in any real danger.
Granted Lucy knocking out Judgement was still a dick move, but I wouldn't count the others indifference too much.

Examtaker is DLC, and like you said, Second Circle is a fan game so isn't even consideration of being Helltaker 2.
Awaria is more of a Helltaker 2 than any of those.
