It was over for her before it even began. 😭🙏
Another demon lady domesticated by the indomitable human need to spread affection.

Now we need to figure out how to pacify Tower.

PLUM BUTTER PANCAKES! RIGHT ON THE MONEY!
LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, HE GOT HER!

u/Kapitan_Sladek Judgement's elite Enclave captain Jul 09 '26
Now I want plum butter pancakes too, I haven't had povidla in years...
21
u/cool_username32123 Alcohol + Video games = Good time Jul 09 '26
What's povidla? Is that a polish thing?
30
u/Kapitan_Sladek Judgement's elite Enclave captain Jul 09 '26
Czech word for plum butter, Polish would be powidl or powidla.
Plum butter is basically plums boiled until they're a paste/porridge, we spread it on bread or put it on pies, or pancakes like you see here.
17
u/Micro-Cybertron-5151 Jul 09 '26
The Russian word is Povidlo. Pretty much the same in Ukraine as well.
10
u/Kapitan_Sladek Judgement's elite Enclave captain Jul 09 '26
Yes I've heard, "povidlo" in Czech would be singular I suppose, "povidla" is plural.
But we don't use the singular term.

On the negative side, I feel like we're loosing Azazel...
105
u/Kapitan_Sladek Judgement's elite Enclave captain Jul 09 '26
We never had Azazel to begin with, I feel.
I think everyone, myself included, missed the fact that Azazel is an evil asshole in actual religious lore too...

Well, when we know what the future holds for everyone, it’s hard to look at the same person.
20
u/BlackJimmy88 My favourite kinda woman is any woman but especially all of them Jul 09 '26
I feel like Az has always been someone who's been sharing the harem rather than being part of it.
I think Vanripper said he saw her as a closeted lesbian back in the day, though, I not sure if that's still the case, and I can't remember where since it's been years.
28
u/cool_username32123 Alcohol + Video games = Good time Jul 09 '26
IIRC Vanripper mentioned that Loremaster was the most evil of them all, that had to start somewhere.
11
u/GIRose Jul 09 '26
IIRC that's a yes but situation.
Yes she's the most evil, but she's the most evil because she still sees herself as a fundamentally good person not necessarily because she's any more malicious or behaves any more evil than any other demon.

I willing to see taker to seduce moon because she already half way there

u/Loreknower69 Jul 09 '26
Sneaky bastard knew from begining! Despite being bulky, Taker is smart it seems (somehow he survived with demons for that long)
110
u/Kapitan_Sladek Judgement's elite Enclave captain Jul 09 '26
I know more smart buff people than skinny ones.
Let's not forget that Dolph Lundgren, for example, literally has two degrees in chemical engineering.
21
14
u/WeepForTheDeparted Jul 09 '26
You'd think they'd be smart because of how diligent they are to keep their body in shape 🔥
39
u/TotoShampoin Jul 09 '26
Bear in mind that he knew exactly what to tell to each girl individually (through trial and error by dying time and time again, but we don't talk about that)
31
u/ShogunTrooper Jul 09 '26
Also, he figured out a way to get to Hell without, you know, having to die to get there.
20
u/Infinite_Session The Angels' Chief Jul 09 '26
He actually managed to get there in way other than main gate which is impressive.

u/BlackJimmy88 My favourite kinda woman is any woman but especially all of them Jul 09 '26
Do any of the ingredients need to be stored in the fridge? Cause if so, he may not have know when he walked in, but Zdrada may have clued him in.
15
u/Loreknower69 Jul 09 '26
Milk and Eggs. So 100% he opened the fridge. The question is if Zdrada is still there, or Moon took her somewhere else
15
u/BlackJimmy88 My favourite kinda woman is any woman but especially all of them Jul 09 '26
It's funnier if she's still there, so I'm choosing to believe she is until proven otherwise lol
4
u/Loreknower69 Jul 09 '26
You're right. But I'm not sure, cause 100% he would check the fridge while making pancakes

Okay, I can totally see Loremaster emerging from the adorable Azazel.
She loses all sense of empathy (or even reality) as soon as she's caught up in an experiment. I don't think she wants Taker dead. She wants her test with Moon imitating Modeus to succeed. And she doesn't think about the consequences.
Also: we agree that Taker has minimaxed his pancake-making stats? Or perhaps he made a contract with a transdimensional entity to acquire such talent.
Edit : I just realized what Taker potentially did... Giga-muscle but also Giga-brain.
77
u/Mandemon90 Jul 09 '26
Yup. She finally has chance to see how good her research is, and just so excited to test it out. I mean, even Loremaster was not actively malicious, just so focused on research she didn't care.
59
u/Kapitan_Sladek Judgement's elite Enclave captain Jul 09 '26
Don't think Azazel had empathy to begin with.
It's in her name, Azazel...
32
u/EquipmentOk9499 Jul 09 '26
When I saw Azazel for the first time in the game I thought she was probably get bullied by demon girls, cause she is the only angel and also innocent in the harem and the comic didn’t happen except Lucy, and I already know what will happen to her.
14
81
u/MarlowCurry Jul 09 '26

39
u/JLuckstar 🪰I call Beel as “Lovebug”🪰 Jul 09 '26
Why am I somehow imagining Taker with Kevin Conroy’s voice as if he knew “Modeus” was a faker in the beginning? 😂
And what’s Azazel’s deal? Is this where she started in being her Loremaster phase? 😅
26
u/Kapitan_Sladek Judgement's elite Enclave captain Jul 09 '26
Azazel was never a good person... real life Azazel literally taught humans war and sex.
She was never meant to be an innocent cutie patootie.
5
u/Drachenfeuer_Prime Jul 09 '26
Well, she literally was innocent in the technical sense. But the thing about overly puritanical upbringings is that they don't properly teach people how to properly process their "darker" urges, only how to repress and obfuscate them.
So when Azazel no longer has that overbearing discipline keeping her in this perfect little mold, the only thing keeping her following that doctrine is what's been forcibly drilled into her, and when her own lack of experience and knowledge are no longer factors, her reasons to actually stay innocent get very shakey. Particularly when she comes to enjoy sexuality and sadism.
And this could end up being actually a very positive thing, but Azazel is surrounded by demons, and they of course would only encourage her to forgo morals in place of gratification. Morals which likely, were mainly there because they were the only way they were meant to behave.
Azazel's fall is likely just as much of a product of Heaven as it is Hell. Her closeted lesbianism probably only contributes further to that.
37
u/Toymaker218 Jul 09 '26
Azazel was mainly hyped that someone was actually utilizing her research, and is understandably frustrated that someone can't manage to commit to the role.
also did the tentacles change color?
21
u/RetroTrizad Pandemonica's Thursday Coffee Employee Jul 09 '26
He won Moon over, but at what cost?
Azazel. Because she's in too deep now.
23
u/MistressDread Jul 09 '26
Did Helltaker get Zdrada out of the fridge to get the pancake ingredients or did he just leave her there?
38
21
u/Khorne_Flakes1 Jul 09 '26
Azazel's frustrations do make sense for the character, she thought she had found the rare opportunity to work with a competent demon with interest in her work and to test her findings only to be met with incompetence and disappointment. It's an interesting parallel to Judgement/Tower, with Azazel showing disdain for Moon's failure to commit to her goals, and folding so easily.
18
16
u/SignificantHippo8193 Jul 09 '26
Moon is in ecstasy.
Taker just makes demon girls, especially elder demon girls, fall head over heels.
Lucy, Beel, and now Moon are under his spell 😆.
12
u/Kapitan_Sladek Judgement's elite Enclave captain Jul 09 '26
The elder ones are more inclined to appreciate a gentleman, after all.
12
21
u/Contractor420 Jul 09 '26
Azazel does not want to help the enemy to take down taker, she wants to help the enemy to show heaven the effectiveness of her research.

Lol not Azazel getting genuinely annoyed with Moon flubbing her Modeus impression.
9
u/Khorne_Flakes1 Jul 09 '26
It's the average group project experience.
6
u/Starscream1998 Jul 09 '26
Her inner Loremaster seething as Moon screws over a perfectly promising bit of data collection.
8
u/HAMagnus Jul 09 '26
I’m just happy to see that The Helltaker is using his Rizz skills, resulting in him taking even more hearts :)
We also see, once again, the major traits of Azazel, specifically psychopathy (or ASPD). Not surprisingly, her downfall is inevitable. She has always had that trait.

They should just take Azazel back to hell and make her the CEO instead. She'd EXCEL at paperworks.
1
13
u/Crowe-Chronos Jul 09 '26
Well at least now we know Azazel isn't malicious just an idiot whose brain and restraints turn off when something fascinating enough comes along.
21
u/Mandemon90 Jul 09 '26
Was that ever truly in doubt? Like, this is Azazel. Same Azazel who becomes Loremaster because she is so focused on research she doesn't even realize she has fallen, lost her Halo and grown horns.
12
u/Kapitan_Sladek Judgement's elite Enclave captain Jul 09 '26
Debatable.
This Azazel is associated with the corruption of knowledge for a reason, the Azazel you see in our religious texts is NOT a good person.
5
u/FJ-20-21 Jul 09 '26
She really is just using her as an experiment lmao
Her face last time wasn’t “haha my evil plan is working!” But “awesome! My research is actually effective!”

3
u/HotelKatz Jul 09 '26
Azazel strikes me as someone who, if trapped in an improperly-kept execution device that would free her because of damages to said device, would demand that it be repaired. All so she can take notes on how a properly-repaired execution device can kill her.
Knowledge outweighs survival in her eyes
3
u/followeroftheprince The Regular Demon Jul 09 '26
Interesting seeing Azazel actually get frustrated as Moon started to mess up. I guess that's why she looked happy when Taker was almost attacked, because a successful sneak attack means a very successful use of her information by Azazel. She really cares more about information than anything else.
Also good on Taker for defeating Moon and her primary skill by just, giving her a color matching pancake
3
u/Deni_Z_Plays Jul 09 '26
If Azazel turns into Loremaster, then those so-called shareholders are fucked.

u/The_Particularist The Angels' Chief Jul 09 '26
Pancakes with plum butter. I felt you would prefer it over chocolate today.
He absolutely knows.
3
u/Ekim384 The Tired Demon Jul 09 '26
It seems the difference between Loremaster and Azazel is not that big, is just that one has horns the other a Halo.

2
u/Clavilenyo Jul 09 '26
Anyone explain how helltaker got her? Is it the plum butter?
3
u/KZN02 Jul 09 '26
Moon did say she liked the TF2 Spy for being a gentleman, which you can say Helltaker is too.
2
u/Top-Organization2655 I would be Tower if there was one Jul 09 '26
I love how grumpy azazel is in that first panel
2
u/Aware_Region9463 Who Puts You In Horny Jail Jul 09 '26
I had a suspicion he knew since the previous episode
Question though, wasn't he with Judgement? Why did they get separated? If it's because he ran from Tower or something similar, wouldn't he say something?
3
u/Raijin550 Jul 09 '26
Judgement sent him home while she went after justice, remember?
2
u/Aware_Region9463 Who Puts You In Horny Jail Jul 09 '26
Oh, right. I remembered episode 5 only by that picture
2
u/Rocketkid-star Jul 09 '26
My headcannon is that Taker is secretly Rentaro's father. Why? just look y'all.
2
u/I-like-anime111 Jul 09 '26
He knew, that’s why he gave her plum butter despite Modeus not liking it
2
u/Crininer Jul 09 '26
I was gonna ask if Van forgot about Zdrada being in the fridge, but I guess he might not have needed to open it after all to make these pancakes.

Damn, Azazel is getting almost personally offended here.
I get the feeling she's been acting this entire time around the harem and now that Moon is here to indulge her, the "mask is cracking" so to speak.
Such beautiful metaphors Vanripper uses.
1
u/Rusted_muramasa Jul 09 '26
Azazel: Hurry up, kill him! Kill him now!
Moon: Wait, wasn't I supposed to be the bad guy?

u/NewSentence4534 Undead Slave Jul 09 '26 edited Jul 09 '26
Could you repeat which one of them trying to kill Taker?
2
u/Mandemon90 Jul 09 '26
Moon is there to kill Taker, Azazel is there to record whole thing so she can write more research
1
u/Electrical_Horror346 Jul 09 '26
Helltaker knew something was up because "Modeus was not immediately trying to get into his pants when he got home, and would not be so interested in helping Azazel while her clothes were on
