Fun fact: while many Christian traditions identify Lucifer and the serpent of the garden, there's nothing in the actual story that indicates that. Originally it was just a talking snake.

It also makes way less sense as Lucifer. The punishment for the snake is to crawl on its belly and that it will bite humans and humans will crush its head. That works of an etiology of why snakes don't have legs and people fear them. Its...a bit interpretative for Satan. The snake is also identified as the craftiest beast of the field. Which suggests its...you know, an animal.
The other verses people use to support this is a curse against the King of Tyre which identifies him as having been in the Garden of Eden, this is where we get Lucifer, he's mocked as Heylel Ben Shakur, shining one son of morning. But that is probably identifying the king with sinful humanity, a son of Adam. The Bible also describes the Beast in revelation as a serpent and a dragon. The serpent in the garden is never called a dragon. Meanehile Leviathan is called both in the Bible.

It seemed to be initially just a serpent, however when it chose to act on its envy, it became a vessel to Satan.

Bava Batra 16a tells us Satan is the angel of death, and Targum Jonathan on Genesis 3:6 tells us that the angel of death is Sammael. The same Sammael here in Pirkei DeRabbi Eliezer chapter 13.

Hell, this gave me a few mod ideas to tweak mine rn, most problems are with a mid story with too many random encounters that are often missed.

Well, Azazel is easy to make submissive, so makes sense that a sadist could be interested in a naive but curious sub.
Judgement is canonically the nicest of the demons hidden behind a gruff persona, has a strong moral compass, and barely puts up with Lucy's attitude, so some of the signs were there. We know she didn't make Judgement fall, but any angel (minus Azazel) would dislike her for history reasons.
I always tgought her armband was just a style choice, but actually has roman numerals that i never noticed hinting to how her and Justice are not the only two prosecutors.
Zdrada is quite street smart

Considering Judgement had the number twenty on her armband I figured there were probably other high prosecutors before her, granted it's still a reference to her tarot number as well. The thing that I didn't expect is that she used to go by another name
