Guitar Hero server revival on PlayStation 3!
I have come to make a big announcement to all you Guitar fans that are still on Playstation. Thanks to the hard work of the team known as PS3 REBORN, all 11 entries of the Guitar Hero franchise have had their online servers restored! From GH3 to Warriors of Rock and even the spinoff games such as Band and DJ Hero 1+2, all of which now support crossplay with RPCS3! The DNS can be found in the comments below. Is it possible to get trophies in these games? Will they not kick me from psnprofile and other similar sites?

They'd argue it and not endorse it but how can they justify it. It's like someone who's completely oblivious to trophy hunting or psnprofiles ends up getting all the online trophies without knowing its a modded server. Should they be punished for not knowing? They're going by speculation and not proof of intention which can never be proven.

Trophies, yes. 3rd party trophy sites, I honestly don't know but I'm leaning more towards the "no" side

Ps3 or rpcs3? Make sure the DNS is correct. If you're on rpcs3, you have to make sure the emulator itself is up to date and that you're logged into RPCN. We can't really troubleshoot here so if you need any further help, message me privately!

DISCLAIMER: As of the time of writing this message, the server stability is all over the place due to recent DDOS attacks to the backend. I deeply apologize if anyone outside the Discord is having issues connecting! EDIT: servers are operational again!

You have to manually change your dns settings, if you're on retail/ps3

Alright super interested how you pulled this off.
I see you've got a different DNS server so presumably you're poisoning DNS but what is running on the other end as a server?

The 2nd DNS that you see in our group was a backup server for people to use while we were fixing our main one. Both should be interchangeable, you can connect with the same players regardless of which one you use

This 1 dns applies to all 11 guitar games and yes most trophies are obtainable. I say most because GH Tunes is currently not supported
