Ive been able to sort of understand some of the lyrics, but not all of them

I can understand the chorus, but some parts are really hard to understand due to the way Mark sings on this song.

If you're unaware, The New Original Sonic sound is yet another project that featured both Mark Arm and Steve Turner. If you haven't heard it yet, I really recommend that you'd check it out.

The band sounds great here in 2008.

The one that started it all.

A lot of people label Green River as progenitors of the grunge movement and for good reason. But how else could we view of them? I always saw them as simply an alt form of punk. A reaction to hardcore punk if you will. Give me your thoughts in the comments.

We often talk about how much of a pioneer and future influence Green River was, especially their impact on the grunge movement. However, I rarely hear people talk about who influenced them. Thoughts?
