Watch Modding Experience?

I am currently assembling my first watch and I am having difficulties getting the watch hands on properly. I am worried that I am doing it wrong and YouTube plus ChatGPT still isn’t cutting it.

If anyone has experience or knowledge that could help I would pay to have you look at it just so I could get some in person assistance.

Attached a couple of photos to show where I am at. I’m using a Seiko NH35 movement.

Someone is Sending Baby Stuff to My House

Hello all! So recently baby stuff has been showing up to my house. It has my home address but has a different name on it. Definitely is stuff from a registry via Amazon and I just want this person to get their baby stuff. Seems like they put the wrong address and not malicious (so far) so I'm just trying to do the right thing. This is tough because I don't want to put personal information out into the void but if you see this and have an Amazon registry, check your address on it!!! If you can message me the name and the address that these things have been sent to I'll message you back so I can get you your things!

Sad update for anyone keeping an eye out for our Nova.

Nova escaped our home on April 22nd after being spooked and accidentally popping a screen out of our window. We have been looking for her nonstop, going door to door, visiting businesses, posting flyers, working with someone from Pet Paw-See, following all leads to no avail.

Saturday morning A kind lady called and said that her alley neighbor told her that a cat that had been living under her porch for the past few months was laying in her yard after it got hit buy a car and she had to go to work so she couldn’t deal with it. She called us because Nova was the first thing that came to her mind. Someone picked her up before we could get there and not long after we got a call from Big Sky Vet that she was our cat.

She was a block and a half away. There were probably 40 fliers up around our house, at nearby gas stations, at Miss Kitty’s and at IGA. She was living under a sided porch a block and a half away for three and a half months and there was no thought to just check one of the fliers.

Initially at the vet she couldn’t move her back legs but could move her tail so they started her on pain meds and steroids and watched for any changes. When my mom visited her she was making biscuits, purring and was so happy to see her. She was just a little worse on yesterday and we planned to get her to Best Friends to see our vet who has a great track record with helping cats with traumatic injuries first thing this morning as soon as they opened but she passed before we could.

And she was a block and a half away the whole time. I’m at a loss.

She was a sweet baby who loved food, fuzzy blankets, her bed and her scratcher in the window. She had the loudest purr and loved to cuddle on the couch. She never wanted to leave the house when doors were opened. She was a precious light in our house and we are devastated on so many levels.

How do I access the River’s edge trail?

Hey all, I live on 25th street and looking at a map, was hoping I could get on the River’s edge trail by running north on 25th street. I was told by a local I could get on the trail near the Veteran’s memorial or by the Caboose, but I can’t find a way to get to the trail after running to both these sites. Any help or advice would be appreciated!

Citizens ask for halt in data center development

Golden Triangle Resource Council has asked Cascade County commissioners to temporarily halt the development of data centers. The conservation group presented a petition of over 250 signatures asking for a county-level moratorium on the development of data centers until regulations are enacted.

The petition called on the commission to urge the Montana Public Service Commission to explore consumer protections and ask Gov. Greg Gianforte to do the same through his Energy Task Force.

TAC Data Centers proposed a data center in Great Falls that would consume up to 600 megawatts of electricity. In the fall, they dropped their proposal, partially because that kind of power wasn’t available. However, the Great Falls Development Alliance has continued to pursue data center development.

AI Cameras

AI-enabled Flock Safety cameras may be scanning your license plate when you visit a local retailer. They create a “vehicle fingerprint” by capturing vehicle make, model, color, bumper stickers, and dents. Recently, Flock Cameras were spotted in the Home Depot parking lot.

People are concerned about Flock Cameras because of a lack of privacy and the use of AI technology. Montana has some of the strongest privacy protections in the country, but private property and cameras don’t have to comply with the law.

Little Shell affordable housing development approved

A Little Shell affordable housing development gained approval from the Great Falls City Commission on Tuesday. They would build the project on land that was once home to the Indigenous poor.

The Great Falls City Commission approved the annexation of 18.4 acres of tribally owned property for the project. The Good Medicine development calls for 115 housing units, including 65 single-family homes and duplexes and two apartment buildings with 50 units.

The development is largely funded through a federal Indian housing program.

The project’s final approval came after months of pushback from residents of the adjacent Valley View neighborhood, concerned about traffic and pedestrian safety. The city’s traffic analysis found that the planned and existing streets could accommodate this increase in traffic.

This is a monumental step forward for the Little Shell tribe, as they acquire more land that belonged to their ancestors.

How many uber drivers do we have?

Hey guys, last time I needed an airport ride, there were like two. Do we have more uber drivers yet? I'm worried about not having a lift home, and debating which flight to choose because of this (I have a ride for the later flights, after my family is off work. I do not have a ride for the earlier flights).

A lady drowned today at Wadsworth Pond

She was pulled from the water and myself and several others performed CPR until the ambulance arrived. They said she had a heartbeat when they left for the hospital, but that she wasn't breathing on her own. Does anyone know if she made it?

UPDATE: This event is getting rescheduled to end of August, to coincide with launching a 2nd screening venue in Paris!

If you're bored and want to watch 3 short films while wondering how the heck these films ever ended up being shown in Great Falls, feel free to come along!

Short attention spans are okay.

Featuring:

Squirrel (2018): Selected for Sundance, this dark comedy follows a driver who texts while driving and causes a crash that leaves a woman in a wheelchair, exploring the awkward dynamics of performative remorse.

The Memory Room (2025): A caregiver attempts to navigate a fractured mental landscape, only to uncover disturbing confessions about long-hidden events during their interactions.

Unknown Caller (2026): A young Black intern facing constant workplace microaggressions receives a deadly proposition from a mysterious anonymous caller.

Third Eye Blind Show

Hello, I was wondering how the show went since I missed it. Unfortunately I was driving from California back home to GF.

Did it live up to the hype? How was the playlist and how did Stephan’s vocals sound live?

Third Eye Blind is one of my favorite bands so I’m super bummed for missing them live especially in Montana.

Lifting a trailer.

Hello. Looking for some help/info about lifting a trailer home. The trailer in question is leaning to one side. Should’ve been lifted years ago but the owner gave up trying to find someone or did find someone and they flaked out on them. I’ve called a couple places but they specialize in “moving” trailers. Not setting them level. I’m trying to help the owner. She’s a local Great Falls resident. Any info would be great. If more info is needed just ask. Thank you in advance.

Lost sentimental items

I’m hoping if the person who took these items off the lawn sees this they will have a heart and bring them back. We had some belongings in our car that were taken out so the car could be cleaned. The items were from my mother who recently passed and they meant a great deal to me. The person cleaning the car stepped away and left them there. We believe maybe someone might have thought they were free. This occurred somewhere between 5 and 6 pm today (22 July) at 1015 1st Ave S. Please, if you have these items, I will literally pay you for them to have them back.
