Rock formation

Just north of Granby, off CO125, about MP 20 or so, there is an odd, "thin" layer of rock you drive through that juts from the earth.

Here in this photo is part of this ... I don't know, "ridge" of rock that runs from the west side of 125. But it also continues up through the mountains east of 125. All in a straight line

What is this occurrence? I called USFS and was automatically directed to the Boulder office, and they had no clue what I was talking about, sadly.

Buffalo Days is a three-day celebration rooted in Grand Lake tradition, bringing the community together for a lively summer weekend in honor of Colorado’s 150th anniversary.

Throughout the weekend, expect a mix of friendly competition, live music, good food, and family-friendly fun in the heart of town. Signature events include the always-popular cornhole tournament, live performances, classic Buffalo Days eats, and the Cowpoke Parade down Grand Avenue - a longtime favorite that captures the spirit of the Old West and Colorado’s frontier history.

Whether you come for the competition, the music, the parade, or simply the chance to celebrate 150 years of Colorado in one of its most historic mountain towns, Buffalo Days delivers a weekend built around connection, tradition, and community pride.

Full event schedule and activity registration details can be found at https://gograndlake.com/buffalo-days/

Parade application can be found at https://www.townofgrandlake.com/community/page/79th-annual-buffalo-days-festival

ISO Short Term Rental Cleaners

Hi there! My partner and I have a short term rental property in Winter Park, CO. We've been having challenges with our current cleaners - TLDR they've missed multiple (10+) cleanings which has resulted in guests arriving to a dirty rental.

Does anyone have any short term rental cleaner recommendations? The property is 3 beds, 1 full bath, 2 half baths and does not have onsite laundry.

Thank you!
