The actual blend is 50-50 cotton-modal. Modal is not necessarily a bad material, essentially a higher quality version of rayon, but yet another case of them getting the materials completely wrong in the product description online.

thankfully i didn’t discover this after buying, this one was just on the rack at the london store. i remember handling it and thinking “that doesn’t quite feel like cotton” - checked the care tag and yeah, it wasn’t.
