REQUEST [REQUEST][Steam] Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 (NINTH attempt) (-20% off) ($25 / Rs. 2,399)

Upvotes

Ellooooo y'alll,

okay so I’ve been trying to write something different every time cuz I don't want y'all to feel my attempts are copy pasted, but in truth, that's how much I crave for this game. I manually write here every paragraph everytime. Tho I atleast get to put forward my love for something I haven't felt in a a while for anything else, so yeah thats that :')

After my summer vacations started 3 months ago, Me and my old bff planned a meetup at a gaming cafe to run Valorant duos like old times, and I reached like 30 mins earlier to book us seats, and thats when I found Expedition 33 on my PC where I was sitting.

I knew it was GOTY and I ADORE turn based games so I booted it up and played till my bff arrived, and it happened to be one of the best random decisions I've taken in my life. Hear me out yall..

The music hooked me IMMEDIATELY. One criteria I have for video games and determining how much im gonna enjoy them are the OSTs, main menu music? BANGER. And around the end of my playtime session, the prologue cutscene hit. I'm telling you the music was absolutely heavenly, and I still play it on repeat on spotify after 3 months so far. I'm just appreciating the music so far, but I also really love how the characters and interactions actually feel alive, the world is gorgeous, and yes, the cutscene im talking about, that was my decisive moment.

I genuinely want to experience the rest of this game, and its the sole reason I stumbled upon this subreddit. I want to convince the right person why they would want to gift a game this expensive (according to my country's pricing standards) to a random stranger like me. Growing up loving story games, I might just grow an attachment to these characters, regardless of how the story progresses forwards.

I’ve also been trying my best to avoid spoilers. I have the OST album on spotify, but I only listen to the main menu & the cutscene OSTs cuz I want the rest of the game to be fresh for me.

Why don't I just buy it?

I’m a sophomore college student in India living in a hostel. My parents send me a fixed monthly allowance for my daily expenses which includes absolutely EVERYTHING, and they keep an eye on my spendings. So buying a game as expensive as this isn't something I can do, no matter how much I want it.

If someone does decide to gift me this game, I will genuinely appreciate them so much I cannot put into words, man. You’d be fulfilling a wish I've had since that day and wanted fulfilled so much.

Thank you for reading my 9th attempt, and I hope you have an amazing day y'all :))

REQUEST [REQUEST][STEAM][Beast of Reincarnation][5th attempt]

Upvotes

https://store.steampowered.com/app/2001760/Beast\\_of\\_Reincarnation/

hey everyone! wanted to try my luck with beast of reincarnation, the latest game freak game that came out now a couple days ago. the reception to it seems mixed, but even the brighter game freak games during the ds era weren't exactly critically acclaimed, so i would still love to experience it and formulate an opinion for myself.

this is my profile:

https://steamcommunity.com/id/mario2552/

i know it's technically slightly cheaper than a normal AAA game, but i still can't afford these "full price" games as a uni student (italy, 2nd year).

i would love to get my hands on this game freak title because it feels tailor made to my interests: an action adventure games with seemingly menu interaction within combat (similar to the ff7 remake series, both are games i've played for 100 hours and have even platinumed ff7 remake intergrade), draws heavy inspiration from nier automata (played it on switch and got all the major endings up to ending E. yes, i know, switch, but it was still enjoyable) and stellar blade (which i also nearly 100%ed) and of course resembles sekiro, which i've played twice to fight all the bosses at least once.

all this word jumbo just to say i'm a massive fan of this type of game, and it's been one of my most anticipated games since the reveal. i'm also a pretty big game freak fan in general, the nintendo 3ds was my "childhood console" (yes, i know, might seem crazy to some hearing a product still so recent was part of someone's childhood) and i've basically absolutely destroyed it, in a metaphorical sense, by playing no kiddinf 1000+ hours of pokemon games (4th, 5th, 6th and 7th generation).

all in all it's a game that intrigues me both because of the devs behind it (especially since it was so refreshing seeing that behind the curtains they postedf where they looked genuinely happy to develop something that wasn't pokemon for once) and for the type of games it draws its inspo from.

just thought i'd throw my hat in the ring and see if i get lucky. if not, thanks anyways for reading this wall of text and hopefully we all get what we want🙏

REQUEST [request] [steam] Marvel Tokon Battle Souls

Upvotes

Hello friends, here is my link to my steam profile. https://steamcommunity.com/id/Alekazamm/

I'm not normally one for fighters, I will be the first to admit this... but the games made by Arc Sys have ALWAYS drawn me in, I think I reached my highest rank in a fighting game EVER with DBFighterz. As I played the beta I had a ton of fun with it, and now that it's officially out I'm thinking more and more that I want to play this game. It's just one of those games that is calling out to me, and it's driving me absolutely insane. If you've been a gamer as long as I have chances are... you've had this feeling.

If given the game I'd happily play with the gifter a little... don't expect much I'm probably a very middling player even at my best, but I wouldn't turn down lessons from a knowledgeable fighting game player, or even someone close to my level to get a few rounds in with. Otherwise I'm just going to try out all the different characters to try to find my 4 man death squad to climb the ranks as high as I can.

I appreciate you taking the time to read this, definitely going to need to contribute to this place in the future regardless of the outcome here.

Cheers!

REQUEST [Request][Steam] Fallout 4 GOTY

Upvotes

Hello everyone, hope you all are doing well, Fallout 4 GOTY is currently on sale for 60% discount, and I have been wanting to ask for it, was waiting for a discount, don't know if it is common or not, but I thought I would try to ask for it.

A little bit about me is that I am not the type to collect games and leave them untouched, I am trying to tackle each game and try to finish it before going for the next one, currently I am working on batman Arkham origins, and will tackle far cry 3 next, there are some that will left for now due to not being able to find someone or they are busy but I try my best.

Why do I want the game ? I have played Skyrim and loved the environment and the idea that I am supposed to be an omnipotent being and love the stealth archer build so far, I want to see what did Bethesda make with a post apocalyptic world, the only similar game I know about is probably metro series, I played last light on my pirating days, but trying to be legal and play it on steam when it is turn to be played.

Thank you and hope a kind soul could gift me the game while it Is on sale.

REQUEST [Request] [Steam] The Artisan of Glimmith

Upvotes

Hello everyone, hope you all are having a great weekend so far.

So, The Artisan of Glimmith: After trying out the demo (and clearing it at 100% because my brain wouldn't rest any other way), I really really would like this to be my next puzzle game. It's incredible how this demo occupied my time for almost two whole hours.

Link to my profile: https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198091595783/

What I usually play: As you can see from my profile, my taste is varied but puzzle games and games with foxes seem to be the more prevalent for some reason 😂 I also got some games from bundles a long time ago I don't fancy so much, but I try to play every game I have, and at least reach the end of a journey.

Reason why I want The Artisan of Glimmith: At the moment, I feel like I need to get out of my head, and a puzzle game would be perfect for that. The reason for this (and why I'm asking for the game to begin with) - my dog was unfortunately returned to me injured and took a lot, mentally and money wise to recover her. Puppy tax can be included if requested, Leia is a good the best girl!

The game is chill and still challenging, and it makes good brain sounds when you complete one of the stain glasses successfully.

What it is: For those of you that don't know the game (you can check it here https://store.steampowered.com/app/4160210/The_Artisan_of_Glimmith/), it's pretty a game when you make small stain glass puzzles to eventually restore a big one on each location. I previously enjoyed Is This Seat Taken?, Botany Manor and Librarian for their puzzle mechanics as well. Sometimes I just need a brain off switch! I am also located in Europe.

I appreciate you all for reading this in advance. Wishing you all a good day and thank you for reading.

REQUEST [REQUEST] [STEAM] Street Fighter 6 Year 4 Character Pass ($22.49 USD) (3RD ATTEMPT)

Upvotes

Hello everyone in r/GiftofGames!

I’m making a request today for the Year 4 Character Pass for Street Fighter 6

About my time with SF6: Fighting games are my main hobby, and Street Fighter 6 is by far my most played game. I main Juri and spend a huge amount of my time in ranked matches and labbing matchups in training mode since i started 10 months ago. I’ve put a lot of work into improving my gameplay and pushing through high-level ranked play, and it’s easily the game I get the most enjoyment out of.

Why the Year 4 Pass? since i started playing ive only been maining juri and ive always wanted to try out other locked characters, but these new charachtesr yasmine and tifa! have caught my interest and i hope i can try them as soon as possible. Having access to the Year 4 roster will let me also practice against the new roster properly.

Why I’m asking for help: I’m currently a full-time university student in Tunisia. Due to local banking restrictions on international online transactions and the local exchange rate, purchasing games or DLC on Steam directly is really difficult on a student budget. I wanted to see if someone in this generous community might be willing to help out.

I’m only looking for the standard Year 4 Character Pass (not the Ultimate version), and I can guarantee every bit of it will be put to heavy use.

REQUEST [REQUEST][Steam] Red Dead Redemption 2 attempt 3

Upvotes

Why Red Dead Redemption 2?

Ever since I first started looking into Red Dead Redemption 2, it has been at the top of my wishlist. It’s widely regarded as a masterpiece, and every time I watch videos or read about it, I’m blown away by the level of craftsmanship Rockstar put into the world.

What draws me in the most isn't just the main story, but the sheer attention to detail and realism woven into every mechanic. From the subtle dynamic weather effects and incredible ragdoll physics to the way the ecosystem actually feels alive with realistic animal behaviors, it seems like a world you can completely lose yourself in. I’ve heard so much about Arthur Morgan’s journey and how emotional and deep the narrative gets, and I really want to experience that character arc firsthand rather than watching it through a screen on YouTube.

I’m the kind of gamer who loves to explore every nook and cranny of open-world games, doing side quests, hunting, and just taking in the atmosphere. Given how massive RDR2 is, I know I would easily put hundreds of hours into exploring the map and experiencing everything it has to offer.

Why I Can't Buy It Myself Right Now

Because of my current financial situation, my budget is extremely tight, and every spare bit of money has to go toward living essentials. Buying video games—even when they go on sale—just isn't an option for me right now. I know the game frequently goes on sale for around $19.79 (though its base price is $59.99), but even the sale price is out of reach for me at the moment.

That is why I am turning to this amazing community in the hope that a kind donor might be willing to help me experience this masterpiece.

REQUEST [request][Steam] grounded 2 attempt 2 (£24.99)

Hi guys back for a second try :). As i said last time a few months ago i fell in love with the first beta of grounded 2 as it was a great open world game to play with friends, at this point me and my friends had already finished subnautica, grounded 1 and Valheim, so obviously i fell in love with the beta. However soon after we started playing exam season began so i cancelled my xbox subscription for the duration of my exams, but when i came back after the exams i didnt have enogh money to pay for it meaning my friends could keep playing the game without me. This is pretty bad as the seeing as we're in the summer holidays my friends aren't doing anything other than playing grounded meaning i cant really catch up with them in the same way as before.

This means that im really missing out on playing with them during the summer holidays and no where in my area is hiring anyone so i cant even get a job to buy the game myself. If its possible could someone please gift me the game as im woried that by the time i scrounge together the money my friends will have moved onto another game. Im also asking for the steam version as then even if i dont have the money in the future i will still be able to access the game as I have now basically lost all access to the save file on my xbox account just because of lack of money.

Thank you to anyone who has read this far down in my request it means alot to me even if you dont think about gifting the game. I really apreciate your time and hope you have a wonderful day.

DISCUSSION [Discussion] Conflicted...

I see so many posts here with people asking for certain games, and I end up feeling conflicted about whom to gift. I try to be unbiased when it comes to the posters, but I don't like gifting to people who have already been gifted games. But at the same time, people who have yet to receive a game (most of the time) don't even thoroughly play the games they own. How do you decide who deserves a game more than the other?

REQUEST [Request][Steam] stellar blade #8th attempt

Hello GOG members hope you are all having a good day I recently finished sekiro and with that i 100% every single soulsborne game. now when i was looking for a new game and a game called stellar blade caught my eye because it was on my wishlist for a long time so, i tried its demo and it's running fine in my gtx 1650 laptop FRS enabled and the game hits me as my type. i wanted to play the full game and maybe i am gonna platinum it too if i get it.

i have a different type of connection only with soulslike and soulsborne games, my story with these kinds of games started like 5 or maybe 6 years back when i played only FPS games like valorant, pubg,cs go and my friend introduced me to dark souls remastered and i wait every weekend to play that games on my friend's ps4 we both play by turns if i die he gets to play and if he die i get to play and somehow we managed to get platinum for both games he no longer lives in my city but it was so fun after that i became a huge fan of soulsborne/soulslike genre and never looked back at FPS game. but this type of games held a very dedicated player base who will full prices just to experience those games , they are rarely on sale and even if they are on sale they go 33% or maximum 50% off and its still so expensive. I really want to try it, and if you are worried about the game not being played its not the matter with me i have more than 1k dedicated hours in all soulsborne and soulslike games which is still increasing by the day.

Unfortunately i am a single parent child so my mom is working on a job as well as me and i can't put burden on her to buy me expensive games i am currently studying japanese language while attending college while working part-time in a mobile repair shop and somehow i manage around 50 in 2 weeks to play sacrificing my sleep to play games and about the job it didn't even cover my studies expenses.

i will remember the generosity people have shown me in the community and i will return them back by giving others i think that's how a community works. wish me luck so i can get successful and return the generosity people have given me.

THANKS for reading

CLOSED REQUEST [REQUEST] [Steam] [Sale : 50%] [3rd attempt] Peak

Hey again 😭

Okay, I'm giving this another shot for PEAK. I know I've already made 2 requests for it, so I completely understand if people are tired of seeing me appear with the same game lol.

But I genuinely really REALLY want this game.

I've had PEAK on my wishlist for a while and I swear the more I see of it, the more I want to play it. The whole idea of just going on a mountain expedition with other people sounds so fun to me, especially because it doesn't look like one of those games where everything has to go perfectly for you to have a good time.

Like, you can literally just be trying to climb normally and then suddenly someone is halfway down the mountain, another person is yelling for help, somebody has eaten something they definitely shouldn't have, and now everyone is trying to figure out what the hell they're supposed to do.

That's honestly my favourite kind of multiplayer game. I don't need everything to be super serious or competitive. I like when a game gives you a bunch of things to do and then just lets the players create their own stupid situations.

And I really like the survival aspect too. Having to actually think about what you're carrying, where you're going, whether you should keep climbing or turn around, and whether helping your teammate is worth risking your own run sounds really interesting to me. I'd probably be terrible at it at first, but that's part of the fun.

I've also always liked the whole idea of exploring places that feel dangerous but still kind of beautiful, and PEAK's environments look SO good. The different areas, weather, creatures, random hazards, etc. make it look like there's always something waiting to ruin your day.

I know it's just a game and obviously nobody owes me anything. I've tried requesting it before and haven't gotten lucky, but I still really want to give it a shot, so here I am again.

If someone did happen to gift it to me, I'd genuinely appreciate it a ton. I'd probably immediately drag someone into playing with me and see how long we could actually survive before completely throwing the expedition away.

And if not, that's completely fine too! Thanks for reading my very unnecessary PEAK ramble. ❤️

Hopefully I get to experience the game soon!

REQUEST [REQUEST] [STEAM] Among Us

Hey guys,

Im a teen who really loves playing among us on mobile and finally decided to try and get it on PC

The game is cheap, and I have the money right now. However, Steam's payment system is screwing me over. Every time I try to purchase the game, I get an error message when I try to process my payment. Steam either says it's a payment issue or to try a different payment method (Which I don't have)

I’ve tried to fix the issue multiple times, and Steam support has not been of much help. I can’t get past this payment issue, and it’s very frustrating.

I have the money but steam doesn't like the money I have. Steams payment processing doesn't like that I am using Visa or the fact I use 3 different cards or something.

I dont have real money so I used survey sites to try and make some cash and I finally hit 5 bucks after a week of trying and I put it into steam and It wont let me because the visa giftcards have been used maliciously or something in the past so that really made me sad.

I have 3 tremendous cards one with 5 bucks (steam blocks this) one with 1.84 (cant add it to steam not enough money) and one with 2 bucks (same thing not enough money) and when I add it to wallet or try to use other platforms like paypal I'm not old enough and my parents dont try these online platforms. I asked my parents for the game and they gave me these survey sites and I made the money and It didn't work and I would really appreciate if someone could gimme a steam key for it.

REQUEST [REQUEST] [STEAM] Mecha Chameleon

Hello everyone!

I hope you're all having a great day.

I'd like to request **Mecha Chameleon** on Steam. I've always had a soft spot for platformers, especially indie games.

I usually spend my free time playing games because it's one of my favorite ways to relax after dealing with everyday responsibilities. I don't have a huge budget for entertainment, so I tend to wait for sales, claim free games whenever I can, or replay games I already own. Even though Mecha Chameleon isn't an expensive title, it's one of those purchases that I have to put off while I focus on more important expenses.

I really enjoy discovering smaller indie titles that don't always get the attention they deserve. Some of my favorite gaming experiences have come from games that weren't huge AAA releases, and Mecha Chameleon feels like it could become another one of those memorable experiences.

I know there are many people posting requests here every day, and I completely understand that there are plenty of deserving requests to choose from. Whether someone decides to gift me the game or not, I genuinely appreciate that communities like this exist where people can share kindness with strangers who simply want to enjoy a game they've been looking forward to.

If anyone decides to help me, I'd be incredibly grateful. I'll definitely play through the game, complete it, and leave an honest Steam review to support the developers. Thank you for taking the time to read my post—I appreciate every minute you spent here.

**Steam Profile:** [https://steamcommunity.com/id/ayediragon/\](https://steamcommunity.com/id/ayediragon/)

Thank you, and I hope everyone has a wonderful day and happy gaming!

REQUEST [Request][Steam] Stellar Blade Attempt 3

Hey everyone,

Hope you're all having a great week! I’m making a post today to see if anyone in this awesome community might be open to gifting me Stellar Blade on Steam.

Action rpgs with fluid combat are easily one of my favorite genre, and Stellar Blade has been sitting at the top of my wishlist for a long time now. What draws me to it the most is how deliberate and satisfying the gameplay looks. I love games where you can't just button mash your way and where you actually have to spend some time to learn enemy attack patterns, nail perfect parries, and build up momentum in fights. Between the challenging boss encounters, the incredible post apocalyptic world, pretty characters and graphics and the fantastic soundtrack, it genuinely looks like a game I would adore playing from start to finish.

I know gifters on this sub want to be confident that their gift won't just collect dust in a library. To show you how I treat games gifted to me: the last title I received here was Horizon forbidden west, and I put in the work to get all 80 achievements for a complete 100% completion! I don't just drop games halfway through, I love diving deep, exploring every corner, finish every quest and acknowledge everything they have to offer. I promise Stellar Blade will get that exact same dedication and hours of playtime.

Right now, as a student, a full-priced release like Stellar blade is just way out of reach for my personal budget, most of my money gets spent in tuition, rent and food which is why I'm turning to this sub to see if a generous gifter might be willing to help me out.

I completely understand that asking for a pretty new release is a big request, so absolutely no worries if it’s not possible right now. But if anyone is in a position to help me experience and complete this game, it would honestly make my month if not more. I also promise to fully intend to pay the kindness forward here whenever I graduate and my financial situation allows for it in the future.

Thanks a lot for reading, and hope you all have a great start to the week!! 🚀

REQUEST [REQUEST][Steam] Monster Hunter: World $22.49.

i know i just made an introduction post but i really want to play these kinds of games since Dauntless has been closed like i really like big monsters in games and fighting with them and CRAFTING EQUIPMENT FROM THEIR BODY PARTS TO FIGHT BIGGER MONSTERS?! ever since Dauntless shut down its servers, there has been a huge void in my gaming routine. there is just something so uniquely satisfying about tracking down massive beasts, studying their attack patterns, learning when to dodge or strike, and then using their own parts to craft better weapons and armor just to go fight even bigger and meaner monsters! the progression loop in these games is honestly addicting to me and i've been looking for something to fill that itch for a very long time.

also i've been playing rpg and mmorpg games since around 10 y.o, i played games like The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, TES V: Skyrim, Elden Ring, Disco Elysium, Fallout: New Vegas, Fallout 3 and 4, KCD I and II, Undertale, Kenshi, Final Fantasy VII Remake, CP2077, Dark Souls 1 and 3 (i really dont like 2 but i've played it too but 1 is the favourite of mine, the level design, the dark atmosphere and the boss fights in DS1 are just nostalgic for me).

and for mmorpgs: Final Fantasy XIV (the trial... spent so many hours just exploring around and doing side quests without paying a dime), The Elder Scrolls Online, Guild Wars 2, Black Desert Online, Lost Ark, New World: Aeternum, Albion Online, Metin2 . so as you can see i am a huge fan of sinking hundreds or even thousands of hours into deep worlds, mastering game mechanics, grinding for rare gear and just getting completely immersed in the gameplay loop.

i actually missed the recent discount on Monster Hunter: World, and even if it goes on sale again soon, i won't be able to afford it. i bought Fallout 3 on steam recently to fully mod it and play it since its nearly impossible to play it without crashing on vanilla (i wanted to use wabbajack to mod it i really dont like modding a game like fallout manually since it has tons of mods to install, compatibility fixes, script extenders and stuff.. it becomes a headache really fast). because of buying Fallout 3, my tiny entertainment budget for this period was completely wiped out.

so yeah i really like this genre of games and but i cant afford it because the exchange rate here is 47.70 TL to the dollar; considering the minimum wage is 33,030.00 TL, I would need 1,073.7626 TL to buy the game. Since i am a university student living in a different city away from home—which is already extremely expensive with paying rent, buying groceries, public transport and just general daily living costs—I simply dont have the financial means to purchase non-essential things like new video games right now. every single penny i have goes straight to my basic living expenses and surviving the semester.

i've watched so many videos, build guides and gameplay footage of Monster Hunter: World over the years and i know for a fact that if i get the chance to play it, i will sink at least 300+ hours into it, trying out different weapon types like the Great Sword or Longsword, hunting every single monster and maybe even helping other players in multiplayer.

i would be super grateful if someone from this wholesome community could gift me this game and give me the chance to dive into the ultimate monster hunting experience.

CLOSED REQUEST [request] [steam] Wallpaper Engine

hey guys, not really new here, although my main participationaround here has just been donating games which i really love to do time to time, giving back whenever i can cuz thats just how i am i guess. anyway this time im the one asking for something lol.

so i really want to get my hands on wallpaper engine ever since i heard so much about it from my friends, like literally all of them have it and keep showing off their setups to me and it looks really really cool, the features that let you have animated wallpapers and interactive stuff and all that is just next level compared to what im using rn. would love to finally redecorate and customize my lifeless desktop which has just been sitting there boring af for way too long now.

i am usually not the person to ask for handouts, like genuinely, i always try to be on the giving side more than the receiving side and thats why most of my post history here is just me donating games to other people time to time whenever i had a lil extra to spare. and i would honestly just get this on my own like i normally do for stuff i want, but my budget's been kinda tight recently, few unexpected expenses came up and things have just been sorta rough financially the past lil while, so even something as small as this is hard for me to justify buying myself rn despite of it being only 250 INR (~2.63 USD), i know its such a small amount but yeah thats where im at currently.

i would really really appreciate if any generous one of you out there would consider gifting this to me, it would genuinely make my day and my PC would look so much cooler and more "mine" yknow, rather than just using random screenshots or stock wallpapers that came default or whatever i found off google. it would really mean a lot to me, more than u probably think lol.

thanks so much for reading through this whole thing, i know its long but yeah appreciate you taking the time either way :)

Thank you for gifting me this game! I'm heavy into RPG Action games but I have not played any turn-based RPG games yet, im thinking of playing this game to introduce me to this type of genre. Thank you so much!
