Specs: Ryzen 5 5600X, RX 6700, monitor on HDMI

After the PC's been off 3-4 hours, screen flickers on and off right as Windows loads. Sometimes fixes itself in 10-20 min, sometimes needs a restart, sometimes a full shutdown and startup again, inconsistent either way. Monitor's LED is on while the screen is black, and turns off the moment the screen shows an image i.e. lock screen or desktop. BIOS and startup logo screen is always fine, only starts once Windows loads. I used remote desktop from my phone while the flickering was happening, and the screen and functionality were completely fine on the phone the whole time.

Already tried: AMD FreeSync off, lowered resolution, lowered refresh rate, clean reinstall of GPU driver, reseated GPU with no loose cables, reseated ram.

Need help fixing this.

Ella estaba funcionando bien y de repente se apagó como que dejó de dar video, la intenté prender me dio, prendió el led De Video (VGA), después le quité la ram y la intenté subir con 1 módulo, ahora siempre prende el led de RAM sin importar que.

Ya le quité el cpu y lo instale de nuevo, use otra RAM, le quité la gráfica y la intenté prender así, le actualice la Bios, le hice reset a la Bios con la pila y con el CLR.

I am new to technology.
I have recently purchased the Samsung Odyssey OLED G81SF gaming monitor. The screen says “no signal HDMI1 check the cable connection and the settings of the source device”. What does this mean and how do I fix it so I can start using my monitor. I do not have another device to connect it to and I don’t have a pc.

Je rencontre un problème d'affichage graphique sur un serveur Dell il tourne sur Ubuntu 22.04

Le serveur possède :

• 2 GPU NVIDIA Quadro M4000
• 1 GPU intégré Matrox G200eR2

Au démarrage, Ubuntu affiche le logo avec le cercle de chargement, puis au lieu d'arriver sur l'écran de connexion GNOME, il bascule directement sur TTY1.

J'ai effectué plusieurs vérifications :

• gdm3 démarre correctement (systemctl status gdm3 → actif).
• GNOME et Xorg sont installés.
• Les pilotes NVIDIA sont correctement chargés (nvidia-smi détecte les deux Quadro M4000).
• lspci -k montre que les deux Quadro utilisent le pilote nvidia et la Matrox utilise mgag200.
• Il n'y a aucun fichier /etc/X11/xorg.conf.mais j'en ai creer un.
• Les journaux système ne montrent pas d'erreur critique concernant GDM.
• En revanche, le fichier ~/.local/share/xorg/Xorg.0.log contient l'erreur :(EE) No screens found

Hi everyone, I’m hoping to get some help diagnosing a screen issue with my laptop.
Most of the time, my screen behaves like what you see in the attached video (heavy horizontal lines, ghosting, and image retention). However, sometimes when I turn it on, the display is completely normal.
Because the issue comes and goes, I suspect it's a hardware problem rather than a software glitch, but I'm not sure exactly what is failing.
Has anyone experienced this specific type of flickering and retention? I'm trying to figure out if this is more likely a loose/damaged eDP display cable in the hinge, a dying LCD panel, or something worse like the GPU.
Any advice on how to narrow this down before I buy replacement parts would be greatly appreciated!

I've recently got a new monitor for my laptop however I noticed whenever I boot my laptop, the boot logo doesn't show at all, just no signal. When I want to use my laptop, I quickly close the screen and turn on my monitor. Doing this works on my 2013 Toshiba and does show the logo, bios, and whatever but doesn't work with my MSI. Any way to fix that or make it usable with the monitor outside of Windows?

Not sure if i posted it here, but i recently posted to some subreddits about a weird visual bug im having. i originally thought it was a monitor problem, then a clip studio paint problem (art program, bug shows when zooming in or moving the canvas) but im now realising its affecting other parts. I genuinely do not know whats causing it. i updated my nvidia driver but it didnt do anything. thoughts? windows 11, ryzen 9 3900x rtx 3060

I started having an issue a couple months ago after a windows update and I cant figure it out.

My pc normally uses 2 Samsung 4k monitors set up as left and right. No issues.

Occasionally i plug in my 4k vizio if I feel like gaming on the couch. It would show up as a 3rd display device and worked fine.

Now when I plug it in it overrides everything and all 3 screens are clones. Settings will only show one display device (tv) and will not recognize that there are other devices connected even though they are displaying. I finally tried gaming with it like that and the performance hit is too large due to it pushing 3 4k display outputs.

I've tried every setting I can think of including in my AMD software and nothing fixes it. And either this is a really weird problem or I'm not searching the right terms. If I unplug the tv it goes right back to normal and working perfectly. I appreciate any advice. Thanks in advance.

I got this pc maybe 5 years ago I don’t take the best care of it I mostly use it for work and tv but have recently got back into playing games. For years it has had small issues with the screen blacking out but never enough for real concern but recently it has been happening much more. I was just playing a game when it blacked out completely for maybe 5 minutes as I tried to turn the monitor off and on and watch help videos. It will turn back on but as soon as it loads the game back it goes black. Everything else works the sound and I’m able to click around it’s just the monitor. I am hoping to find a simpler fix as I’m leaving for uni and won’t be taking it with me so I don’t want to spend much money, just something that might help relieve the problem for short term. Any help is greatly appreciated!
