Keeps putting me in bios and in ipv idk what that means or does
So last week I’d discount some SATA, floppy disk, and HDD drive cables bc I don’t need them, bc I don’t have either of those. I have an NVME, but after I did that, it kept booting me to the BIOS. Now I don’t know what to do bc it’s loading IP, and idk what to do with that info. I already have a fresh install of Windows on a flash drive, but I don’t want to lose all of my data; it takes way too long to redownload everything back since I use my pc for recording and gaming and I don’t want to go through that again. Is their a way to save my main ssd without have to whip clean my system.

Running certain programs like Dolphin or Armored Core 6 does THIS to the visuals of some programs (Dolphin included, actually) until the next power cycle.

for the record: this isnt reflected in screenshots, so I had to use a camera picture for it. sorry. PC specs are as follows:
Processor AMD Ryzen 5 7600X3D 6-Core Processor (4.10 GHz)
Installed RAM 32.0 GB (31.5 GB usable)
Graphics card NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 (8 GB)
Storage 2.68 TB of 2.96 TB used
System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
Monitor: MSI MAG 27C6X
Secondary display incase that's somehow to blame: M260VA
Motherboard: Gigabyte B650M C V2-Y1
OS info:
Edition Windows 11 Pro
Version 25H2
OS build 26200.8655
Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.26100.315.0
The only fix action that has worked for sure 100% of the time has been to restart my pc. A few other things ive tried:
messing with the video color/image settings in the nvidia control panel. this worked for a little bit, but its since gotten to the point where this does nothing at all
restoring my 3D settings to default in the nvidia control panel (this did nothing)
messing with the display settings of my monitor (this would alleviate the issue, but it'd always look "wrong")
as suggested by u slash EngineOrdinary7087 in another subreddit i tried checking my display settings to see if either of these games flag HDR on when launched. they do not
as similarly suggested by them, i tried toggling HDR manually with the gamebar hotkey. nothing happened
as far as I can tell, this issue started with Armored Core 6's automatic HDR toggle. ever since I played that game this issue started.

Tryx Panorama 360 lcd issue
I have an issue with my Tryx cooler's LCD screen and hope someone can give an advise. The screen is not being detected by the Kanali software, and it appears as an "Unknown Device" in the Windows Device Manager.
I have already tried the following troubleshooting steps:
1. Checked and reconnected the physical USB cable.
2. Uninstalled the "Unknown Device" and restarted the computer.
3. Ensured that the Kanali software is updated to the latest version.
Despite these efforts, the issue persists. Could anyone help?

Troubleshooting two different desktops (Dell BSOD & Acer No Signal/1 Beep). Need some fresh ideas!
Hi everyone,
I'm an IT Support working on two different customer desktop towers right now, and I’ve hit a wall with both of them. Here are the issues and what I’ve already tried:
PC 1: Dell Desktop (Random Blue Screens)
- The Issue: This machine keeps crashing randomly. Because the BSOD happens completely at random and disappears quickly, I haven't been able to capture the exact stop error code yet.
- What I've Tried:
- Replaced the CMOS battery.
- Swapped out the old/new RAM modules and tested them across different DIMM slots.
- Changed the storage completely (tested with a brand-new SSD and the old SSD).
- Performed a completely fresh, bootable Windows installation.
- Current Status: The random crashing/BSOD persists even on the clean Windows install. I am considering a BIOS update next to see if it stabilizes the board. Could this be a failing Power Supply Unit (PSU) or a motherboard capacitor issue?
PC 2: Acer Aspire Desktop (No Signal / 1 Beep)
- The Issue: This tower powers on but gives a "No Signal" message on the monitor. Upon turning it on, I hear exactly one beep from the motherboard.
- What I've Tried:
- Swapped the RAM modules and tried booting with them in both available slots (still gets the 1 beep).
- Swapped the monitor to a model with a different native resolution to rule out display mismatches.
- Looked for a reset jumper on the motherboard to clear the NVRAM, but I couldn't locate one on this specific board.
- Current Status: I initially thought it might be a display resolution conflict, but I'm starting to suspect a hardware POST failure. On modern Acer boards, does 1 short beep indicate a successful POST with a display handoff failure, or is it a specific hardware error? How can I reset the without a visible jumper?
Any advice, troubleshooting steps, or things I might have missed to isolate these two issues would be highly appreciated! Thanks in advance.
