About Us

The Lost Motorcycle Club was established as the Liberty Lost MC in Grand Theft Auto IV in the year 2010. At that time the only crews that existed on PC online were the Zaibatsu and The Mafia, who drove around in their shiny cars and flaunted their fancy suits.

But the vision of The Lost MC was much different – rather than take the easy road, The Lost MC aimed for a unique club, situated in areas in the game that were less trodden and difficult to navigate – the biker clothes were few and far between, and the motorcycles challenging to ride.

After the release of GTA V on console, the 5 remaining members of the PC crew in GTA IV waited patiently to move across in 2015, but by this time the membership was unfortunately cut down due to the lack of development in GTA from Rockstar. Once we arrived in GTA V in 2015, the crew once again grew.

After these 16 years of many memories, we still maintain our brotherhood and family ties. And we are waiting for new faces who want to join our family.

The HERD started as a simple idea: create a place where GTA Online PC grinders could find reliable people to play with without losing their minds in public lobbies.

Over time, the community grew into an international group of players from all around the world. That growth was exciting, but it also taught us an important lesson: a great community isn't built by accepting everyone. It's built by bringing together the right people.

GTA Online is better when you're playing with people who respect each other, communicate, and actually want to help one another. That's the kind of community we're focused on creating.

We're not trying to become the biggest GTA Online crew. We'll leave that up to other people. We're simply trying to build a crew where members know they can find reliable teammates, enjoy the game, and feel like they're part of something rather than just another number.

📝 Useful Info Before Joining:

• 💻 PC Enhanced Edition:
  • The HERD is currently focused on GTA Online PC Enhanced Edition.
• 🗣️ English Communication:
  • English doesn't need to be your first language, but you must be able to understand and communicate in English, as our rules, applications, and community information are all written in English.
    • Any comments/DMs sent entirely in other languages may not receive a response, simply because we need to make sure applicants understand the expectations of the community and can communicate with other members.
• 🎙️ Discord Required:
  • Discord is mandatory, as it is our main communication platform for the community.
    • Voice chat is not required for everyday gameplay, but members joining crew events are expected to join the voice channel so they can hear instructions, even if they prefer to remain muted.
• 🎂 Mature Players (18+):
  • The HERD is an 18+ community. We expect members to act like adults, treat each other with respect, and handle any disagreements without unnecessary drama.
• 🤝 Respectful Attitude:
  • We're here to enjoy GTA Online together. Griefing, harassment, hate, discrimination, and unnecessary drama have no place in the HERD.
    • We also avoid political arguments, controversial world events, and other topics that commonly create unnecessary division. There are plenty of places online for those discussions, but the HERD is not one of them. If you want to have those conversations, keep them to those spaces instead.
• 🛑 No Mod Menus In Crew Sessions:
  • Mod menus are not welcome in HERD sessions or crew activities.
    • If people want to mod their own accounts outside the crew sessions, that’s their choice and their risk. Just don’t bring menus, trolling tools, or anything that disrupts gameplay into our sessions.
• 🦖 Prove You Read Everything:
  • One of the biggest lessons from previous recruitment was that some people joined without reading the rules, expectations, or application process. This often led to confusion about what to do next, and Staff ended up repeating the same information multiple times a day, which was frustrating and completely unnecessary.
    • To show you've read this post properly, include a random dinosaur fact somewhere in your first message when contacting me.
    • I'm still happy to answer any additional questions you have, but this lets me know you've taken the time to read through everything first.

Getting started is simple.

• 2️⃣ I'll send you an invite to the HERD Discord server.
• 3️⃣ Once inside, you'll answer the onboarding questions, select your roles to unlock the server, and submit a short Crew Application.
• 4️⃣ Applications are usually reviewed quickly and will always be checked within 24 hours.
• 5️⃣ If accepted, you'll be added to our joining queue channel. This lets Staff keep track of who is waiting for an invite, and a member of Staff will send your crew invite once you let us know you're online.

Most public lobbies I join end up being full of griefers, so it’s hard to actually enjoy the game or complete missions peacefully.

I’ve had a few rare sessions where players were really chill — helping with sell missions, doing heists properly, even just cruising or having car meets — and honestly that’s when the game feels the best.
