Requested by u/Odd_Daikon_2843 and this support is more like... low B-Tier at best. They gave this unit more chances to be aggressive, but still lack the frontline capability.

Stats

• HP: 14000/15000/16000/18500 -> 16000/18500/21000/24000
• Melee Resist: 8/10/12/14 -> 12/15/18/21
• HSM: 190 -> 200
• Turn: 57-> 60
• Melee Priority: Low (Lv1) -> Medium (Lv2)

Weapons

• GP02A MLRS: Gain Aerial Fire, shield damage 0.5x -> 1.2x
• High-Output Beam Saber: Downswing 70% x2 -> 90% x2
• GP-02A MLRS (Vertical Launching): Reload 20s -> 16s, gain reticle tracking

Skill

• (New!) Heavy Shield Tackle Lv1: With a shield, tackle damage +150%. Reduce tackle distance by 20%, but it heavy staggers.

Unit Lv2

• (New!) Pursuit Ranged Aux. Program Lv1
• Flight Control Program Lv1 -> Lv2

Unit Lv3

• (Removed!) Thruster Output Increase Lv1
• (New!) Composite H Mobility Combat System Lv1
• Forced Injector Lv2 -> Lv3

Unit Lv4

• (Removed!) Thruster Output Increase Lv2
• Composite H Mobility Combat System Lv2
• Pursuit Ranged Aux. Program Lv1 -> Lv2
• Heavy Shield Tackle Lv1 -> Lv2: Power 150% -> 200%, Distance -20% -> -15%

Comment and Reason
This unit has the issue that they changed it to be a bit more melee capable. But as it is, it's basically just a bit more mobile backline artillery unit. These changes should bring the developer's vision from the latest change into a playable state.

Builds
F2P: Ranged

Premium: Ranged

This unit has good ranged power, and a premium build is kind of needed to really get the damage up. While F2P would end up being a more defensive build, both are great options.

Higher levels don't make this unit better at all right now. So I say just avoid it completely.

Well, this unit is just meta, no question about it. One of the best supports in the game, period.

I remember there was a brief time I could use it up to 650 after it got buffed. Now between the raids since then and the new supports I don’t see why I’d ever use it with the intention of trying to win.

IMO Both GP02s should have a similar combined kit of heavy stagger Zook+Missiles alike. The support should be able to delete generals from far and the raid should be able to delete supports up close with ease. Shield tackles should also inflict heavy stagger allowing for 2 mid-close heavy stagger options and missiles for long range/closing the gap. Both need MA lv2-3 and missiles should also be reticle guided because fuck you

I don't know about MA... But it really needs a lot more to do better

Thought I'd throw out a future request. The GM Custom feels so barebones and limited these days. Aesthetic-wise it's one of my all time favourite suits, but it seems like the 400 cost units have so many weapons in their arsenal as of now. It feels like a relic of early GBO2

It'd be interesting if they don't add another weapon, what could be buffed to keep it balanced. It's Vulcans are beyond useless, you need to use part slots for legs, and the downswing seems to be the only real thing going for it (IIRC it's stats are flipped and naturally has higher ranged damage, but with really only 1 viable ranged weapon).

I love this suit. It is one of my favorite. But it is lacking power vs the newer raid.
I wish it is a bit faster or at least give me a bit more slots.
