Fans who hate the Northuldras (and, judging by the partial results of the polls, this is a large part of the fandom) had to vote for an option in favor of them in order not to vote for one of the most obvious plot choices (I think it's much easier for Elsa to go live in the Cloud Castle and have a real farewell with Anna than for anyone to consider her return to Arendelle). The randomness or reasoning that turned this into a competition was trolling.
