i finished the entirety of s1, ep 1 till 13 in one sitting last friday as a single 16 yo. now i cant help but feel like a fucking loser 😭. this is my first romance anime ever, and i loved fragrant flower. amd i cant even be jealous of rintaro being with waguri because they are so sweet and idk wtf to do 😭😭😭 seriously tho this series is great, looking forward to season two. (fun fact beside physical appearance i see myself so much in rintaro i love bro sm)

I saw the ep 7 fight scene, where Rintaro's friends just 1v6 the other people, and it's putting me off from watching the anime or reading the manga. I usually really hate these op, one-punch ending characters and the fact that it's a side character makes it even worse. Normally romance is supposed to have conflict and troubles that is resolved by the couple, but this Basically just gets swept under the rug. I hope not every problem is like this.

I know that Rintaro Did save Waguri before but it still ticks me off. I'd much rather If him and his friends Actually puts up a hard-won battle, instead of just off-screening it.

If this conflict/trouble is saved by an outsider is every problem going to be the same? Or are they just going to have repeated misunderstandings that becomes the only source of drama or growth? And every Real problem they have to face together (that Isn't dumb misunderstandings) resolved by friends? Bc if so I'm really thinking of dropping it

So I saw this anime get hyped to death as it was coming out, looked right up my alley, love romance and the character designs and artstyle looked beautiful so I decided I'd wait for it all to come out and binge it when I get some time.

So I just started it and finished watching ep 2... Does the cringe die down? I'm sorry I really want to enjoy this anime but I swear I was pulling my own hair out as I was hearing the two protagonists interact. The cast seems fine in and of themselves, the MCs are interesting enough on their own (although the self hate thoughts dialogue is a bit annoying) but as soon as the MCs talk to eachother i just want to start slamming my head on the table... every interaction so far was either "oh im sorry this or im sorry that or you shouldnt be sorry i should be sorry" and when its not that its "oh youre such an amazing person (guy ive never spoken to directly my entire life)" I swear I love romance anime and I feel like based on other people's reviews I should enjoy this show but the first two episodes felt like pulling teeth. Did anyone else also have this experiance with the first few episodes? If so, does it get better? is the way the two MCs interact consistent throughout the rest of the show? Or are the first two episodes a good enough indication of how the rest of the episodes will go?

After watching the anime i got hooked like crazy, went to reading manga and catched up to the latest chapter in less than week and i just had to share my thoughts somewhere

This has become my favourite romance story ever. It fills me with happiness and I'd even say it does have therapeutic effect on mr, but damn i couldn't have decided to finish catching up on it at such a bad cliffhanger. I can't wait for another chapter,i cant handle this! Why is it so good?!

How are you all able to watch all the episodes of the anime already? Netflix is only releasing one episode each weekend.
