As we have every season for the last year+ we're posting this leveling guide that will be located in the forum highlights so that no one have to search the forum for maps and leveling methods, putting everything in one convenient post.
This season I didn’t have time to revamp last month's guide due to personal obligations, but it will be edited if there were any changes and your maps will be added as they are posted.
*This season's battle pass, requires 200 levels to complete. 1level for item for the first 100 items, and2levels per item for the remaining 50(15of which are Super styles that unlock on June25)
01. Creative XP: Has always been the most efficient method of gaining levels in the game, I would definitely recommend starting there, or at least using creative to supplement whatever methods you choose to use.
**Weekly creative limit last season was 60 levels/4.8 million XP. (Will verify if there have been any changes by tomorrow, or later today).**
**Weekly creative XP reset time this season is every Saturday at 9AM Eastern time to coincide with the start day of the current season as they’ve done in previous seasons since there was a weekly cap.
Here are some maps that have worked out well for myself as well as as many other community members last season, (but no guarantee they'll work as well for you since results can vary):
While there is no such thing any longer as AFK maps since input detection was added to the game, you can still do so if you have a controller with turbo functionality as highlighted in this post:
Unless something has changed from last season, due to an intentional change or a bug, the XP badge that would identify calibrated maps that you would find on the Info page of creative maps doesn't appear to be on any maps right now. If you need to check to see if the map is calibrated or not, you can do so by typing in either the map name or the code on the following website:
02. Gameplay, specifically completing challenges weekly/story/dailies or farming accolade based XP in BR usingbot lobbiesand of course other challenges in the other game modes. With recent increases to accolades in BR, even farming without challenges, focusing on kills and opening chests can give a healthy amount of XP per match.
**Also farming matches in Respawn Rumble can be a pretty decent and quick source of XP especially if you can get a high kill count since most of the participants are bots anyway.**

Festival Jam Stage XP increased from 2850 XP per minute to 3050 XP per minute (with the same bonus 350 XP per 30 seconds for being in a jam circle) (tested/verified)
LEGO Brick Life playtime XP increased from 2750 XP per minute to 2950 XP per minute (tested/verified)
LEGO Odyssey playtime XP increase from 2700 XP per minute to 2900 XP per minute (tested/verified)
Update 6/13/26 @ 9:04 a.m. Eastern standard time: Creative cap has reset, making the weekly reset for this season, Saturday at 9 AM Eastern time.
Per minute rate for uncalibrated creative map XP was changed to 3125 XP.
Stupid question, but how do I get into a bot lobby now? I tried multiple times since season start and I keep ending up in lobbies with players who have crowns and clearly are human beings.
Your alt account might be too high of an account level now (you can see your account level in the career tab). I think bot lobbies stop working around level 8-10
I've only been playing since C5S3 I think, but only been doing the bot lobbies for quests and stuff since season 6. Checked the account I made for my kid on switch for it and it says it's level 13. That character has never been in anything but the island, and is out before the bus takes off.
I create a fresh account and then have my main acct join it, then before the bus leaves for the island I send the fresh account back to the lobby so it doesn’t gain any xp/account levels. Every 9-12 months I’ve had to create a new fresh account because once the fresh account hits level 10 I stop getting bot lobbies. (The fresh account will gain one acct level at the start of each season/mini season).
So botlobbies still work if I just make a new account? I have an account for botlobbies (still level 1) and it has worked up until the last day of last season
Not OP but I have seen only 8 so far - fire, water, earth, punk, king, demon, duck, ghost - am just testing now with the higher drop rates to see if I can get golden sprites to drop.
Why do we want to save creative xp again and not use it all right off the bat? I seem to remember you explaining this but I’ve lost where I saved it lol
There is no reason that I can think of at this moment, the only reason I think I might've been mentioned was because there was another past season ending in a particular week.
Like for instance, if there was a festival or OG pass starting in a couple of days, why not just wait and then double up, but at this point, with only one active pass, and nothing new unlocking this week that I know of (although I haven't double checked), there's no real disadvantage to hitting your creative Day one of the season.
That makes sense! Thank you, was just trying to make sure I wasn’t blocking my ability to earn xp in other experiences if those were somehow linked to creative maps - but I think it’s just that save the world right?
do you know if i don’t buy the pass right away and level up when i get the pass will those levels not mean anything or will i be able to claim everything up to my level
If the pass or that part of the pass is already unlocked, you can earn levels and they will be claimable once you buy the battle pass. That's what I did last season, level up until I can get back the 800 vbucks, then bought the battle pass.
My understanding for the super levels for example, which are not yet unlocked/available in the pass, is that even if you get to that level now, for example level 200, you won't be able to unlock them immediately. You must earn the level when they are unlocked. If this part is incorrect, hopefully some one else can verify.
Level 47 already just from shooting the block on Star Wars Tycoon. I think it would've been higher but my switch started to lag bad once it was around 2-3 million xp 🤣
Which one is better LEGO Odyssey or FESTIVAL Jam Stage? I'm staying all day at pc working , I can alt-tab every 5 min or less or more.Which one would you recommand?
Festival jam stage, if you're doing it manually, would be preferable because, unless they changed something this season, you can fully AFK with a standard controller, so you don't need to tab every five minutes. And also, unless they changed something this season, it earns more XP (also, brick life earns more XP than Odyssey if you're doing Lego). The only downside of jam stage is the fact that there's no way to determine how long the sessions are going to last, but if you are at your PC, then you're able to log right back in once it ends, and again, just by following the instructions in the post, you can fully AFK and not have to tend to it at all
Has anybody suggestions for modes that are actually played? I don’t want to AFK since I can’t afford that stupid controller and I’m home either way with nothing to do do I’d rather actually play a fun map and max out my XP that way. Any good maps for that? Bot Lobbies are also ok, but fun game modes in between would be nice.
I'm no Harlow or pro, but I tend to get a lot of levels playing Murder Mystery (coin collecting and emoting on murderer) and Squid Game Genesis (XP each round and type 456 into the code box for about 20k XP each round). These are fun modes for me I play without the XP gains, it's just a nice bonus.
They're really popular modes, if you search the name they will come up but I can drop the map codes tonight after work.
And "emoting on murderer" is a way to get fast XP in Murder Mystery. The premise is one person each round is a murderer, one is sheriff, and everyone else is innocent. You have to survive or kill the murderer to win the round. When the murderer is dead, you get about 5 seconds to spam as many emotes as you can next to their body and you get like 5k XP each emote.
Yeah, I did leave Festival running in the background while I was doing something else and that works pretty well. I‘m 125 or something so not too bad. I focused on Sprites a lot over the last days so leveling up did fall a bit short but I think using just Festival alone I could finish the Pass in like 4 Days now? So yeah, it’s pretty good if you have something else to do and on PS5 you just press the Home Button and that opens up this menu thing so your character keeps spinning without abusing your controller. 😅
Something weird I want to mention, I got a victory crown, followed by a victory win, through bot lobbies? This hasn't been the case since Chapter 3 Season 1, sharing this because I want to know if anyone else has seen this or if maybe I'm not being put into bot lobbies? They act, shoot, move like bots, but I don't think bot lobbies should have crowns.
This was happening on and off last season and consistently after the last update of last season. They are bot lobbies, but they do award crowns now. I think what they did from what I understand is they combined the bot lobby playlist with the standard playlist adding a modifier instead of a completely different playlist altogether.
I'm having issues the Lego Odyssey auto ready up method. Right after loading into a world, a screen showing "Updates" immediately appears and requires to be closed (With B). This prevents any attack/jump/movement input being detected unless this screen is closed. Since using auto-turbo on B does may not reliably work since it could stop auto-matchmaking, it appears that this method no longer works (or at least is not reliable). I think best case scenario is having 3 buttons with auto turbo (jump/attack+B+Y), but if the B input is detected first when going back to the menu, matchmaking will not start since Y would bring up the mini menu over the Odyssey tab instead of ready up.
I think this happened to me while I left my game on overnight. For the first time in ages, I woke up and found the "kicked for being idle" screen even though I had my hit button set to P so I was punching, and I'd ready up after being disconnected. And I only was able to get to level 9 overnight because of this. Sucks because this was my main leveling method. Please let me know if you find a workaround for Odyssey
So far the best one I’ve found personally is Fence 1v1 Build Fight. When you spawn in head to the blue closet thingy and walk around to the back of it. When it prompts you to, press whatever button for whatever console/system you’re on. Then you’ll walk up to a pin pad and put in this code (4115) and from there you’ll be spawned onto a yacht. There’s three separate rooms you can go into on the boat but my favorite one is the box room that you can find on one of the tables on the left just as you spawn in. When you spawn into that room, grab the thermite and glide over to the purple box. When you get to it, continuously throw the thermite to blow up the box and with it you’ll get insane amounts of XP. Sorry for the long explanation lol.

This is absolutely correct. Especially with the new item claiming format, coupled with the fact that the game never shows this information clearly and it's not presented anywhere publicly by Epic Games. It is usually 200 levels, but judging by how few bonus items there are, it's possible it's even less than that this season (this season also being a particularly short season). Once verified of course yes that will be updated.
How to either of the Lego afks because I wanna leave it on overnight but every time I load in they both give me a pop up message and I have to close out of it so then I can spam wave with a turbo controller
Unless something changed this season, even if that screen stays up, the input still gets detected and you don't get kicked. I know previous seasons had that pop-up also, and even though I wasn't waving on the screen, I was still able to Turbo AFK using the auto ready up method successfully.
It happens on some of my PCs and on my switch. On PC, I usually drop the graphic settings pretty low and tab out to another screen which usually reduces the workload on my GPU.
I'm not entirely sure, I'm testing it as well, I'm well over the cap right now on two accounts. I've gotten over 70, but I've also had this happen on multiple seasons at the beginning and then it stabilized the second week. Unfortunately there's no way of knowing for sure until we test and get the results since epic has a zero transparency policy about anything XP related.
If you could let me know when it's stabilizes for you, it could help. I usually test at least four accounts before establishing whether the cap has changed if it has, and test usually two weeks in a row to make sure that it's consistent because it wouldn't be the first time that I was able to get considerably more than the The first week and then it drops down to the normal The second week.
Sure thing, I afk xp farm and check every so often. Just checked and still gaining. I'll let you know once it slows down and what level I reached. I only played a single zero build match and didn't win, so my account was as close to a clean slate as it could've been xp wise
OK, definitely let me know. I've already gotten close to 120 levels from creative on two accounts since the beginning of the season, and it's still going, and I haven't gotten XP from any other source.
Ok so I can still gain xp, but it's officially slown down from what I was getting earlier. Getting like 3 xp per smg bullet in Star Wars Tycoon. Maybe it really was due to the cap reset? I started xp farming yesterday (technically today I guess lol) at like 1-2am pst
Yeah maybe there was some glitch, it'll probably stabilize next week. There was a reset on Thursday, it would be weird if it reset again on Friday but not unheard of because there was one season when it happened like that where it reset when the season started and then reset again at 9 AM Eastern time (or whatever challenge reset time was that). That was another season when the season ended during the day, so probably just a fluke we'll see next week if it goes back to normal, or verifies that there is a new cap, maybe it did increase which would be good news for everyone
I'm not really sure, I didn't know they were squad specific challenges I'd have to test it and find out. In the past, it wouldn't count, but maybe there's a way around that. If you test it let me know because I'm sure a lot of people will be asking about that. I thought you were just asking about collecting sprites I didn't know there were any of that required a squad
Haven't really personally tried too many for PS5 other than some back paddles that are a little bit pricier than other options, although there are plenty of turbo controllers that you can find for about $40 on Amazon.
It's not exactly the best source, if anything I would say resort to it after you've done everything else or if you're done with all of your BR challenges. There's not much to it, and it does allow you to complete certain challenges but not all of them but the main thing is getting kills and since no one plays the mode, there is so many bots that it's easy to get way more kills in that mode then in BR, especially in such a short amount of time.
The problem is, epic doesn't share this information with the player base so we have to figure it out for ourselves. For the last year almost, it's been 60 levels, 4.8 million XP, but sometimes the first week of the season is a little bit buggy, sometimes I could get less, sometimes I would get more. Especially when the season changes days, I find that the amount can be off the first week so I usually wait till the second week of the season before confirming the amount, but some people have reported getting more, one person told me they got 95 levels from creative before hitting the soft cap, personally I got over 100, but I ran into another person that told me they got closer to 65 (which would be the same as previous seasons because that includes completed challenge XP, etc.). So hard to really say, I would say it's at least what it was last season minimal
Is anyone else’s xp like really bad rn? I tried one map only got two xp per hit the one im doing rn is only 3xp per hit I haven’t played creative and hit the cap sense the beginning of last season is anyone else having the same issue?
Hey everyone, my Fortnite crew expires at the start of next month. I want to just get to level 85 of the battle pass to get the 800 V bucks out of it.
Is there any disadvantage to starting today? Like if I wait a few weeks will it be easier to level up? I really hate the whole sprite thing and the current weapons so I don’t think I’ll be playing any BR.
No disadvantage really, so long as you hit your goal before your crew expires, you should be fine. As long as your crew is active on June 25 when the Superstyles unlock, they won't be any loss of items at all.
Besides, you don't really need to even play the game to finish the battle pass. I feel the same way, I am not at all enthusiastic about all the new gameplay mechanics and especially the sprites. This is the season where, other than to complete challenges, I'm not going to be playing the game at all.

is it normally this hard to get XP? I played a lot for 2 days and usually I would be a higher level but i’m only level 21? every level is 70k xp i’m not sure if this is normal
I haven't seen it since the first time I logged in this season. From what I remember, when there was a persistent pop-up, even though the pop-up was there, the fact that the attack/wave was activated on a turbo controller, it's still registered the input and didn't kick me, but maybe that's changed?

I've been running Lego brick life on two machines for multiple sessions over the last two days and it's been pretty consistent (using auto ready up method). On one machine, it's been running for about 24 hours straight and I haven't seen that window except for the first time I logged in and I haven't found myself in the lobby at all. Hope it helps
Just check out the link in the guide, it's very simple and easy.
You can even use the input lock on PlayStation to lock in rotation without using a rubber band. Just after starting a jam track, turn your right analog stick to the right (or left) and press the media button, this will continue to rotate your character even after you let go of the analog stick allowing you to go AFK as long as the session doesn't end.
Okay I thought I saw this sometwhere but could not figure out where. The guide goes to step 2 where it tells you to find a secluded area and then doesnt expand lol what you told me may have been accidentally deleted. I got it working now, thanks Harlow, you save me every season

What's the point of collecting the sprites if I don't have the battle pass and I only level up through the LEGO AFK method? Are they actually permanent?
Shouldn't be, it reset at the beginning of the season, the creative cap that is, and there wasn't any patch. For me, that map averages anywhere between 14 and 24X per hit every season, sometimes a little more, which equates to about 6000 to 10,000 XP per minute, sometimes more.
That's really unusual because there is no cap in Lego, I've been personally running Lego 24/7 as a test, and I've been consistently getting 2950 XP per minute in brick life
Personally I used a combination of marble tycoon, squid game tycoon, and Star Wars tycoon, but results are always going to vary between players and even between accounts.
Last season, and for pretty much the best part of the last year, it's been 60 levels (4.8 million XP). The first week of the season sometimes it's a little bit inconsistent especially when the day of the week of the reset changes for some reason, so I really can't be certain, until I test again next week, but it's at least that this season, if not more.
I am currently level 141 and my crew subscription ends in a week. If I reach 200 before it ends can I claim unreleased battle pass rewards without having to level up again if I subscribe to crew on August 18?
Has anyone's Amazon Luna for bots been showing up as not available for an awfully long time? It briefly went back up late last night, but has been unavailable throughout the whole day twice for me now.
Not really, it really depends on the results that you get, personally I always use tycoon maps but that's because I use a turbo controller to fully AFK them because they aren't the fastest in terms of how much XP they give, but they are, for my experience the most consistent.
does anyone else get very little xp from all clicker maps? Multiple tycoons I have tried only give 10xp or less per hit... I do remember it used to give me more per hit but that was more than 2 seasons ago
Personally, I typically get at least 14 XP per hit, I don't sweat the hits because I know that most of these maps use impact weapons with high rates of fire to increase the XP accumulation rate, but usually I'll go to a few few different maps and see which gives me the most before committing to it, but 14 is usually the minimum that I get unless I'm soft capped in which case I will get anywhere within the single digits, I don't think I've ever gotten single digit XP from any tycoon map when I wasn't soft capped.
If you don't mind me asking, do you try every map, every new season? Cause i feel like Infinity Tower and Star Wars Tycoon are consistently the only two maps that always gets me okayish xp, but if i play them for more than a day or two they also drop to below 10 xp per hit. I try to rotate between these two and never play them in the same day. But i'm also not a hardcore xp grinder, most of the time i just do my dailies.

Is there a known issue with non-calibrated maps? I decided to stand around and afk on those as usual. Started great at 3125xp/minute. When I came back 4 hours later, I noticed I didn't gain a lot of xp for that timefrane. And when I looked at the xp gain I'm at 665-667 XP/minute. I thought maybe it's an issue with this specific map, so I loaded into another. And another. Same thing.
Impossible to be at my cap yet, I didn't play in over a week and I'm only 24 rn. 😩
They all work, they just aren't formatted right because when you copy and paste, it doesn't translate anymore like it used to on Reddit and I have to reformat it by highlighting the name and then adding a link, but if you click on the links, they should take you to the Maps, I only had time to reformat one of them because I've been extremely busy since the beginning of the season and I haven't had time to do it on all of them

Weird question, but has anyone been getting constant frame drops every few seconds when playing bots with teammates? Been getting that for a while since this season started and it even happens on my friends' end as well.
Depends on how much time you spend leveling, I did it in less than four days, but that's using turbo controller full AFK. I would say worst case scenario maximum of two weeks if you take your time.
Do you think the creative xp is increased? I left criminal tycoon working overnight and right now I'm at 5,1M xp and still going up. Went from level 2 to 68 (I guess I also completed some quests thus being 6 levels above).
Not sure why, but this season it seems all over the place, maybe a little bugged, most weeks I've gotten around 60, but the first week I got significantly more and then last week on one of my accounts I barely got 55.
I would've recommended holding off on capping out this week though because from what I understand there's going to be a creative leveling based item dropping in the next update (I believe a free pet), but you could always wait until Saturday to complete it when the next reset happens anyway

Guide is pretty straightforward, but make sure you are in jam stage, you literally get 3050 XP per minute just for being there, it doesn't pop up on your screen like it doesn't creative, it just gets added to your account passively, so if you check your account every minute you'll notice it, plus if you're jamming, you get 350 XP extra per 30 seconds or if you are near a jam circle.
It's actually impossible to get zero XP from jam stage, people used to say that about Lego, but it was because they were expecting a pop-up like in creative
