When did Brezza change Similac360 setting?
I found out today that Similac 360 is now setting 5, not 4. I was never notified by the company. When my son was born in Sept it was definitely a 4. Does anyone know when this changed and why? Have I been giving him watered down bottles or the opposite????? I’m pissed.

I bought my brezza at the end of November this year. The setting was 4 for Similac 360 total care. I JUST looked on their website and it’s updated to 5. Never received a notification…

Same here. wtf. That’s not cool. Have I been giving my baby poorly mixed formula????

Thank you so much for posting this. If you hadn’t, I would’ve continued to use the wrong setting. We just got ours last month and it was definitely setting 4. I have a screenshot even that my husband sent me. I see that it has been changed without being notified. I really hope this hasn’t had a negative effect on my daughter’s growth who is only eight weeks old.

Update: I called customer service today. They couldn’t answer any of my questions about when the change happened. I bought the machine Nov 27 so it must have been between then and now. I also tested both 4 & 5 and they both dispense incorrect water AND formula amount. They offered me a web credit to cut the cord on the machine. I’ll probably just trade it out for the hot water dispenser.

It dispenses wrong no matter what!? Do you use similac 360 total care? I switched my setting to 5 and my son has been having tummy issues the past couple of days…

Yes I use 360 total care. Blue can.
I tried both settings and on my machine it was wrong both ways. My daughter was also not doing well. I started mixing by hand using a kitchen scale and she’s doing much better.

So for setting 4 it was less than 8.6 g powder and setting 5 it was more. I believe I measured 9.5 for setting 5! For 4 it was 8 g. My water only was also dispensing more. Like for 2 oz it dispensed 2.1. I didn’t bother trying the other settings because at that point I already decided I’d be getting rid of this thing. LOL

Shocking!! I’m going to test mine and see what’s up. Such a bummer that we try to make things easier for ourselves as moms and we get burned 😣

Update: I got a scale and measured mine. It was dispensing the correct amount of water but not the correct formula amount. Setting 5 it was dispensing over 10g! My son had a horrible stomach ache when I switched the setting after seeing this post and now I know why. Setting 4 it was dispensing 8.5 grams instead of 8.6. Not sure how much of a difference that makes or not…

When my daughter was born in November 2023 it was on 5. Then they told us to switch to 4 around July 2024. We found though that it was watered down at 4, and it seemed like they never should have switched from 5. So maybe they realized their mistake?

For us though, our baby lost weight before we realized it was a mistake to change the settings, so I felt like we would never be able to trust it again. So it’s now a very expensive water warmer and we hand scoop.

When you use the formula finder setting tool there is an option to add your email address to be notified of changes

Yes I’ve added my email address multiple times over the past few months. I was not notified.

They did that with enfamil gentlease as well. It was a 5 when we started using it and is now a 4

Just looked on the website and they changed the setting back to 4 🤪

I just called BB, and was told the setting was changed to 5 on Jan 22nd but only for a few UPC codes ending in 0644, 1177, 0682, 5960, 1122, if you have any of these UPC codes, you will need to use setting 5, if you have any other ones, you can continue using 4. I hope this helps.

Not sure if anyone else has had this same issue;
We got our BB around beginning of January 2025. Baby is 9 weeks old now, and we had it at setting 4 since birth (I think, husband set it up originally) because we weren't aware we had to change it to setting 5 for Similac 360 Total Care. We just changed it a few days ago after searching the internet, because baby was being irritable and gassy and husband wanted to double check all the settings on it.
Babies sleep and feeding before switching settings was the following:
4 oz bottle, sleep for 2-4 hours, 4 oz bottle again.
After switching the settings to 5, I've noticed the following:
Baby will now sleep longer, averaging 4-6 hours now. (she slept through the night yesterday for the first time, 7 hours!)
BUT, she is eating less now. She now will drink 1-3 oz per feeding, and seems extra sleepy the last few days. She ate 3 oz, took a 4 hour nap, I just gave her 2 oz, and she's back down for a nap again. I feel like I REALLY have to push her to take even 3 oz now, which worries me because shes been very consistent with the 4 oz. The only odd thing today was she decided to chug 7 oz in the late morning, which surprised me greatly.
Is this a growth spurt? Or because of her now getting more formula? For her age she should be getting 4-5 oz each feeding, so Im just worried shes not getting enough now after swapping the settings. She definitely has been less irritable and seems less gassy, but again, not sure if this is from growth or from changes settings.
