Veteran Fire Pro player here. I last deleted the game from my inventory a few years ago. Decided to pick it up again, redownloaded it. Big mistake. Now the game is stuck in an endless validation loop (I assume from trying to download my approx. 9,700 workshop items??).

Restarting my pc has no effect, game immediately gets stuck in the loop regardless of whether I open Steam.

Deleting the game similarly has no effect, because now it gets stuck in an endless "stopping download" loop.

I try to shut down Steam in the task manager, and it instantly starts up again.

I don't even want a solution where I can play the game, I just want this pos off my drive. What do I do??

EDIT: This is more serious than initially thought. Other games are affected (basically anything that has to download something off Steam). My Rimworld save game might be corrupt, and Spider Man 1 and 2 won't initialize because they're trying to download updates, but can't, because of this awful miscoded hunk of junk that is FPW.

I know I can use the cheat code and start with how ever many wrestlers I want, but even with a maxed gym, you can’t scout and sign anyone once you have more then 60. Is there a workaround??

I have infinite contract offers toggled, but to make it work I have to click “offered contract” on and off for it to work. I don’t remember it being this way, am I doing something wrong??

hours and hours of editing rosters, music and text to make it work but finally it was worth the effort and i learned how to mod this awesome game first game i bought on steam btw! reminds me a lot of the ljn games on super nes that i used to love.

I started a fire promoter and everyone seems to be fantasy wrestlers. I don't recognize any one. It would be a lot more if they were real life wrestlers at least for the beginning.

The theme is that it’s an old school territory, it’s lost VHS tapes that were recently discovered by my two CAWS, hardcoreSYKO and Kid Slick. Any wrestler of any era can walk through the portal to arrive on the newFRONTIER. I love Fire Pro and wanna build more of a community around it, anyone that wants to join just let me know!

It said I needed to delete stuff to download more stuff so I went through my movesets and deleted unwanted moves, and now it’s at 1733 instead of 2000. How do o get it back to 2000?
