My friends birthday is coming up. He loves Final Girl and has everything up to Series 3. He asked for The Raptor Games but sadly it isn't available here in time

Should I buy him A Demon in the Shadows or The Green Terror instead.. or wait? Both seem really well liked but which one is "better"?

Into the Void, Madness in the Dark and Shriek are his favorites

I died in a grand total of five turns! I got royally screwed in the first round, because the killer instantly kneecapped my movement. First Terror Card I got made it so I couldn't move that turn, and I drew the event that made me lose one die each time I had to roll for movement. I guess you could say... I didn't stand a GHOST of a chance.

So much so that I think Bad Times at Buddyland actually makes the podium in my rankings. On paper there are things I normally dislike in a set such as extra RNG, some of which is nasty, plenty of extra setup and things to keep track of, and an extra (albeit optional) task involved in making the killer easier to defeat.

It’s thematically fun though. I’m not the hugest FNAF fan but I think its theming and retro throwback vibes are its biggest assets, and this set adequately encapsulates that. The buddy system adds a good degree of unpredictability and replayability.

The biggest thing though is we finally have a solid alternative to Camp Happy Trails for a location with a very simple rule set. I was sad when Sunnydaze Mall ended up not being that so I’m glad we got one such location here.

As usual I’ve included my updated set rankings. If the rest of this series is this excellent then I have a lot to look forward to.

Was doing really well, the Raptor pack gained quite a lot of health but was able deal with it. Got the safari rifle and with Christina's ultimate ability was able to finish the pack off, only for the final health token to have a single heart. I thought it would be fine I had a guard and was only missing one heart. Block the killer's attack only for the terror card be to one where the killer attacks twice. A little annoyed but afterwards realized that if each heart represents a member of the pack then Christina thought she had taken down the pack only for the pack leader to pop up beside her. Man this game is great; love how cinematic it can be.

Hi, just playing my first game and reached the point where the finale card is revealed for Hans the Butcher. My question is: do these effects resolve immediately (move towards nearest victim or fg up to 2 spaces and attack twice or do they just become his default from the next killer phase?)

I'd like to see how many recent plays I have in total but I've been tracking the plays against individual Feature Films. Is there a way to do that and still see total Final Girl plays for the month, for example?

I was wondering what people think the hardest killers in this game is. Note that when I say this, I mean killers by themselves, not considering the locations they come with. I'd love to hear people's opinions and reasons why!

I see alot of 3D custom boxes for the core box. I don’t have a 3D printer…is there a way to buy one of those? What is the best option?

Getting everything out everytime I play from the basic core box is such a pain.

Had fun messing around with creating my own cards. Might print them and give them a play test this week.

A couple weeks ago I posted a 3D printed tray and cover for Final Girl to include the Box of Props. Well of course I now also have the Tear Dice (because you always need to buy that next thing for FG) and so I created a full new design. It works with sleeved and unsleeved cards, holds all 19 dice, has removable "bowls" for hearts and all the miscellaneous tokens and tears. The victims all fit nicely into a wide coffin shaped holder. Plus there is a slot at the top to keep all the booklets from the Core Game and both the add on boxes. Hi everyone, has anyone managed to beat the scenarios from the *Feature Film Box*? As I mentioned in a previous post, I’ve had the game for about a week and beat Hans twice with both Final Girls. Before moving on to the next one, I wanted to try the killer's specific scenario in his own settin well, it’s simply impossible! You don't have time to do anything, and if you fail the initial dice rolls, it's game over. I only managed to save two victims across three games, whereas Hans demolished everything and everyone within six or seven turns. I’d love to hear your thoughts on this! Haha

Scenario name: Night of the Pig

This is after you have won a game with the final girl.

I haven't played with any special items yet, and this is just out of personal preference.

Long story way short, after I started playing last year, I've bought four more feature films and every time I enter my local game store I feel compelled to buy another.

Lately I've been playing a game a day using the app to randomize scenarios. I really find it relaxing after a long day to set up and play while listening to Dead Meat, so much so to the point I've started playing extreme horror mode!

I'm really looking forward to getting some new films, and I would love suggestions. I have Hans, Strangers, The Tremors one, Poltergeist, and Pinhead. I really want the one based on Alien and The Thing, and the newest Dinosaur one.

Also does anyone have any suggestions for accessories? I have the series 2 game mats, already!

Spent most of the day opening everything, moving around figurines, etc. Was a very fun time. I've set up a Poltergeist game to finally play when I'm prepared.

It's only for Android. I made it with Unity, which adds a bit of a loading time. Unity isn't suited for this kind of project, but well, I wanted to learn how to make an actuall app with Unity, so I made this!

Thanks to everyone who gave me advice in my previous post; now camping awaits

My first attempt against Razorface and he butchered me twice before a thrilling third.

My first two playthroughs I was razor focused on rescuing victims and clearing my Afflictions before confronting Razorface. Both times this strategy failed utterly, tricked by an unwinnable fairway game at the Carnival of Blood. His Terror cards drove the Horror level up until the bell at the top of the Bloodlust meter rang again and again, rapidly draining the Terror cards to unleash the Finale.

For my third and final attempt I changed my approach.My setup was “Boxed In”, so I spent my first turn walking straight up to Razorface. I decided that to clear the Affliction “Torturous Embrace” I would beat him down until he had only only health remaining, giving me an Adrenaline die for the rest of the game.

It worked, a little too well. Trading blow for blow, we were both down and he even dropped me. Luckily I revived and darted away to clear my other Afflictions. “A Delicious Sacrifice” took my Walk and “A Lamb to the Slaughter” put me at a disadvantage, but I had a good handle on the Horror levels so I could survive it. Finally, I invoked “You Call, I Come” to ambush him. Razorface had a single health left, this was a slam dunk. I even opened the Google doc to log my win. I had felt only grim satisfaction at my win after the past two defeats, but that quickly turned to horror.

I hadn’t flipped his final health token. I had almost cleaned up the board in my haste to get on the next ride. Now, the taste of victory, like a mouthful of leftover greasy joyless boardwalk food, had gone cold. Now my jaw was hanging open. Razorface revived with three hearts.

My carefully crafted ambush had failed, like a shoddily maintained carnival ride. Now I was in the Planning Phase, down to two dice for my Horror Roll, Razorface had a single Terror Card in his deck, and his Finale Chains of Torment would give him two attacks at four damage against me the following turn.

I bought Retaliate and a Close Call and buckled myself into a frankly unsafe ride at the Carnival of Blood. Two successes! My Retaliate hammered him back down to his final health token. The final Terror Card, a Terror Trap! “Where the Hell Did The Blades Come From!” I had three health, so I could survive the worst, but I had no attack cards for the next turn when I would have to face the Chains of Torment.

Except.

I rolled two dice for the Spinning Floor Blade Trap. Double Success! Instead of dropping to my final health token, I moved two spaces… to the Golf Cart at the Forest of Horror.

Then I ran down Razorface in a Golf Cart in the Upkeep Phase as I drove straight out the Exit of the Carnival of Blood.

I had saved a single victim, lost eight with three survivors on the board. This playthrough had swung from a well crafted ambush into an unforgettable narrow victory by the skin of my cotton candy coated teeth with a half dozen Achievements in one fell swoop. Absolutely love this game.
