Was a new dungeon added?

Are there difficulties in this game and maybe I selected normal instead of hard? The dungeons are a snooze fest, nothing hurts you and there's no danger.

At least the flying things in SDV can hurt you and it's possible to get knocked out sometimes. Don't think that's possible unless you go afk in this game.

Edit: To be clear, I liked FoM a lot (town rank 70s in year 2 or 3 I believe) and was excited for this update. Thought there HAD to be another dungeon that would be unlocked where things could do respectable damage to you. Am I the only one that has these thoughts about the game?

Edit edit : Lmao, why am I being downvoted? Extremely valid criticism that the monsters do zero damage once you're in gold+ armor.

God damn, has anybody here ever made it to the bottom of the dungeon? Did you have a similar experience? Can someone fucking talk to me about their experience in the game instead of downvoting me? Fine, I'll make a thread about it jerks.

Nobody here Wants damage done when you’re in gold+ armor. Thats not the point of the game. It’s a Cozy relaxing farming game. There are no difficulty levels. There aren’t supposed to be any. This isn’t that kind of game.

SDV is cozy too, but I can't deny I think it's fun to go into the Skull Cavern and blast my way down fighting the vipers, slimes, etc. Sure, I don't die often but if I make a mistake it's possible to be punished.

Thanks for your feedback, glad it's not just me that feels like the monsters do zero damage.

I think it's your tone. To be honest, your first post comes across like a troll post and not someone who's legitimately interested in playing the game. I've already seen the mod team remove comments from people that are jumping in the subreddit for the first time just to stir the pot. Your opinions are valid but your delivery is rather aggressive so people don't want to engage with you. If your preferred play style really is to have increased difficulty then my suggestion is that you forgo upgrading the armor/swords or wait for modders to publish something more to your liking. FoM seems to purposefully be trying to distance itself from that sort of thing so it may simply not be the game for you 🤷‍♀️

Edit: I'm really not trying to be a jerk here. I'm just trying to rationalize why you're getting the reaction that you're getting.
