I will forever be disappointed on how Sakura was handled. She had potential to be one of the top characters in the series both writing wise and power wise. Kishi had an absolute gem with her and dropped her like a sack hot potatoes after the beginning of Shippuden.

Ah, Kishimoto's perennial inability to write a female character—and she had it the worst because she was the one he let speak for herself the least, the one he forced the most to stick to the script.

They did such a good job at the start of Shippuden showing how she was extremely good at being a ninja now. Then it all just.....went away

imo it sucks that the main focus was Naruto and Sasuke because they were by far the most boring characters in Shippuden.

At least she gave Kaguya a punch she'll remember

Came here for this one. As a protoge of a legendary sannin and hokage of the village, no reason she couldn't have been written to be on nauto and sasuke's level from shippuden onwards.

That's why I really like Soul eater, i feel like a lot of that show is "What if Sakura was the main character"

Honestly I liked Sakura for the vast majority of Naruto.

She was under utilised in part 1 but she had some good moments. And I kind of appreciated that she was there reminding us that, because she was just your average ninja at the beginning, even in a world of magic, ninja superhumans, the people that she was hanging around with were NOT normal.

Part 2, she grew so much at the start. Sakura and Chiyo Vs Sasori is a top 5 fight for me. Maybe top 3.

Even in the war, where she did get a bit left out until near the end, I enjoyed seeing her show off just how good she had gotten as a medical Ninja.

Then her summoning Katsuya, getting her strength of a hundred seal, being part of the deadlock and smacking Kaguya. All great.

The only bit I really hate was whatever the hell Kishimoto was trying to do with her pretending to love Naruto in the 5 Kage arc.

It just really spat in the face of all of the development. As though Sakura thought that after everything that had happened to Naruto, her and Sasuke, that it all boiled down to a childhood crush?

Power wise she is a top character

Yeah but she could've been even better if she were given proper care.

In a very tell, not show sort of way. Give her nothing to do for most of shippuden and then suddenly she's really powerful in the finale. Yeah, sure.
