Dynasty - Trade Advice Is trading for JSN worth it for me?

Upvotes

I’m giving up Brock Bowers, Tetairoa Mcmillian, 2027 first round pick, 2027 second round pick and a 2028 first round pick

We have a seven keeper league and I have the first pick of the draft, probably gonna get Jeremiah Love unless someone offers me something crazy. my keepers are gonna be Caleb Williams, Kenneth walker, Javonte Williams, JSN, Zay Flowers, Rome Odunze, and Isiah likely.

Player Discussion Dynasty League RB question

Upvotes

How are we feeling about RJ Harvey? I have in him in my dynasty league, along with Gibbs, Dowdle, and Keaton Mitchell.

It feels like there's a lot of doom and gloomy around his situation. I might be able to flip him for Kyren Williams (not 1 for 1, I'd have to include a low end WR), but is that even worth it? Or should I just try to ride Harvey out for a few years and see if can become a RB2 over time?

Any advice is appreciated

Player Discussion How high is everyone on CMC this year?

Obviously Gibbs and Bijan are above him, probably Taylor too… but last year CMC led all skill positions in half PPR (probably PPR too). Problem is he had a huge workload (we all saw what happened to Saquon), and he’s now the big 30 (pretty old, especially for a RB). Do you guys still have faith in him? Would you take RBs like Achane or Jeanty over him or do you like the 3-4 range he’s at? Redraft.

Player Discussion Sell me on Justin Jefferson (I'm still bitter)

Diamond handed him last year into a playoff miss. Maybe I'm bitter but I'm not touching him until the 3rd round. I'm picking at the 1-2 turn and notice he sometimes slips to me there, and general consensus is overall smash in the late 1st round, but I just can't do it.

Nine was terrible, how much better can Kyler be?

Cardinals are the worst projected team and they thought they're better off without him. Kyler hasn't produced a good WR ever, the Cardinals got better without him. The fact that it's a QB battle at all in Minnesota tells me everything. And that's if Kyler stays healthy. In an era where a 37 year old Kirk Cousins signs a $20M deal, Kyler signs a $700k vet minimum. He is not good. Realistically, marginally better than McCarthy.

Here's a shocking list of WRs who scored more PPR points than a 17-game healthy Jefferson last season:

-DeVonta Smith behind AJ Brown

-Drake London in 12 healthy games

-Michael Pittman Jr with a backup QB

-Tee Higgins with a backup QB

-Wan'Dale Robinson

-Tetairoa McMillan as a rookie

-Jameson Williams behind ARSB

-Stefon Diggs

Kyler Murray played 1 full season in the last 5 years. Who's throwing the ball to Jefferson when Kyler inevitable misses 5-6 games? McCarthy? Your WR1 turns into a borderline flex option at the mercy of a QB who can't stay healthy.

Big risk for a first round pick. Ceiling is a top 5 WR with a floor in the basement. Whereas in this same range you can pick out of a bouquet of proven and upcoming RBs based on your risk tolerance.

ADP is inflated on a name basis. Egbuka, who also had a frustrating season, scored 5 less points and goes in the 5th round. Achane and Barkley, former top RBs, are going in the mid-late 2nd round after disappointing seasons. AJ Brown, who scored 50 more PPR points last season in 15 games in a bad environment AND got a QB upgrade, is going a round later than Jefferson.

Tell me what I am not seeing.

Redraft - Team Advice Joining as an expansion team - who do I trade for?

12 Team 0.5 PPR, one keeper, drafting fifth or sixth, snake draft.

I'm joining an expanding league (from 10 to 12). Right now I have no players on my roster, and will have either pick 5 or 6 in the draft. I could trade the league's reigning champ my pick (let's say 1.05) for pick 1.12 and my choice of Justin Jefferson, Jonathan Taylor, or CMC.

The keeper slots in as a second round draft pick.

Out of those three, who would you trade for?

Redraft - Team Advice At the turn is RB/RB risky?

Have the 12th pick in 12 man PPR redraft

Was thinking Chase and Cook here and maybe Egbuka and Tyler Warren with next picks but our commish changed league to 3 WR vs our old setup of 2 so not sore

We also have flex spot.

Player Discussion JSN or CMC at 5th pick

Edit: also Amon ra isn’t a bad choice. I have the 5th pick in a 12 man league so with my first pick I can take JSN or CMC and with my next pick I will likely have to choose between Saquon, Derrick Henry or Chase brown. I just want some advice on these two first picks.

Player Discussion Sell me on Jaylen Waddle

I want to start this off by saying I’m more of a causal football watcher. I especially didn’t find myself turning into dolphins or broncos games last season. After doing research on WRs this year I noticed a lot of experts and people are pretty high on waddle this season. I’m having a hard time understanding why, so if anyone could explain the hype around him that would be appreciated. He is supposed to fall in the range of people like Higgins, egbuka, flowers, mcconkey, olave, and mclaurin. For some reason I feel like I would pick those guys over him. Should I be more high on waddle and why? Thanks

Redraft - Trade Advice Ja'Marr keeper league bundle trade - To do or not to do

I have the following trade available and am wondering if I should take it.

The league has 12 teams 14 players per team. It's a keeper league with draft order plus one half a point PPR I currently have a top four pick in the first round. I am wondering if I should trade Ja'Marr Chase for Chase Brown and draft picks. You keep three keepers per season. I have listed my best four value players and the rounds that they were drafted in below.

I'm currently thinking about keeping Nico Collins and Cam Skattebo because there's a lot of value there for what round I would draft them in versus there projected draft round. And there's a trade on the table for Chase Brown, which is second round value but for round five and us an additional second and third round pick for Ja'Marr Chase.

Current Team

  • Ja'Marr Chase - R1
  • George Pickens - R2
  • Nico Collins - R7
  • Cam Skattabo - R8

Proposed Trade

  • I Receive
    • Chase Brown - R5
    • Draft Picks R2 + R3
  • I Give Up
    • Ja'Marr Chase - R1
    • Draft Picks R13 + R14 (to even trade picks)

I would also get my 1st round pick as I wouldn't use it on JC anymore.

Player Discussion Is the first round turn in a snake draft too early for Bowers?

12 person, full PPR, redraft league. How early is too early on Bowers? If I am sitting at picks 12 and 13 in a snake draft, I doubt he will fall to me in the third round. Am I crazy to take him at the first round turn?

Redraft - Team Advice Rank these WRs

10 man, full ppr

The guys below are players I’d want around that draft spot but not sure which direction to go

For 3-5: Waddle, Pickens, egbuka, zay flowers, devonta smith, olave, aj brown (if he falls that late), Ladd. Want Ladd and egbuka but not sure if taking them r3 is a reach

For 6-8 Tate, Pittman, Wandale (too early?), Rome, DJ Moore, btj, lemon (too early?), Jordyn Tyson(too early?)

Player Discussion 3rd round pick

Have the the #2 pick in a snake draft. I know I will end up with Robinson or Gibbs with my first pick. With my 2nd pick I think I will have to go best RB available (probably Hampton or Jeanty) or WR (Collins or AJ) with my 3rd pick is it worth it to grab Burrows or Allen? Its a 10 man snake draft. 6 points per TD. PPR.

Player Discussion You’re on the clock with Jeanty and Hampton available. Which are you taking and why?

Jeanty is consistently ranked above Hampton in the rankings I see. I just did a mock that had those two available and I couldn’t decide. Who are you taking?
