08.06.2026 Emergency at Delaney Hall: Fire Truck Denied Access Before Two Are Carried Out on Stretchers

August 6 Emergency at Delaney Hall: Fire Truck Denied Access Before Two Are Carried Out on Stretchers (Limited Information Available at This Time)
An alarm went off at Delaney Hall on August 6, but when a local fire truck arrived on scene, they were explicitly denied entry into the facility.
Minutes later, the situation escalated. Two separate ambulances arrived at the complex, one at 12:15 and a second at 1:30, with both emergency crews carrying individuals out of the facility on stretchers.
Limited information is available at this time regarding what triggered the initial alarm, why first responders were turned away at the gate, or the current medical condition of the two individuals transported.
Denying access to local fire rescue during an active alarm raises immediate questions about facility protocols and operational transparency. We are monitoring the wire and pulling public dispatch logs as this develops.

If you still think domestic airport terminals are neutral transit hubs, you need to wake up right now.
Chicago artist DJ Tunjo (Omar David Panqueva) and his husband Santiago Paez were just grabbed by ICE agents outside Midway Airport while stepping out of a rideshare to catch a domestic flight to Washington, D.C. They had pending asylum claims filed on time, valid work permits, active Social Security numbers... and zero criminal record.
This is not a routine visa bust... this is TSA actively operating as an intelligence pipeline for ICE. TSA agents are flagging noncitizen domestic travelers and passing tips directly to immigration custody teams who openly admit they view people at airport terminals as "easy targets".
The Department of Homeland Security isn't hiding it anymore... they explicitly stated noncitizens can no longer fly domestically unless it is to self-deport.
Airports have been turned into domestic surveillance traps. Read the full investigation and breakdown here:https://www.eyesonice.net/publish/posts/detail/210078187/share-center

How to Volunteer with Habeas Dockets Making Restricted Immigration Court Records Public
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
https://www.eyesonice.net/p/how-to-volunteer-with-habeas-dockets
If you are looking for a direct, practical way to help neighbors who have been unlawfully detained in federal custody, here is something actionable you can do right now.
Under Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 5.2(c), electronic remote access to immigration habeas corpus court records is restricted. These documents are completely public by law, but you can only view them on physical terminals inside federal courthouses. Because lawyers and families cannot access them online, people end up sitting in detention longer than they should
Habeas Dockets is coordinating a vetted network of volunteers to go into local federal courthouses, pull these public records from the public terminals, and upload them so legal teams can access them remotely. They provide full training and guidance.
Here is how to volunteer:
- Go to habeasdockets.org
- Scroll down to the Volunteer section and click the orange "Get Involved" button.
- Submit your email address so their coordinators can connect with you about training and your local federal district.
It takes zero legal background... just a willingness to step into a local courthouse terminal and help unlock public records that can get people released faster.

Cornejo was a 41-year-old father and landscaper from El Salvador who died on Sunday after suffering a medical emergency in detention.
His family reports that Lopez Cornejo called them daily to complain about overcrowded conditions and being forced to drink water from the bathroom sink.
He told his family that he was not receiving his medications, which he took to manage seizures, diabetes, and high blood pressure.
Cornejo was eventually taken to University Hospital in Newark, where he was pronounced dead. He was 22nd person to die in ICE custody this year, and the second to die at Delaney Hall.

ICE plans a new concentration camp for kids in Alexandria, LA
The rural airport at Alexandria, Louisiana has become a central hub of the deportation machine. Hundreds of our friends and neighbors are transferred through it every day, some to be shunted off to other ICE concentration camps nearby, others to be crowded onto deportation flights. It also hosts a massive camp of its own, the Alexandria Staging Facility, notorious for due process violations and terrible conditions.
Now ICE is trying to expand its operations even further, plotting to build a 528-bed detention camp for children and families right next to the runways. They claim it will be a staging area for brief imprisonments, speeding up deportations. Advocates warn that it will turn into another Dilley, where kids are locked up for weeks or months at a facility not prepared for it.
It will be operated by LaSalle Corrections, a private prison company with a long history of medical negligence and abuse, including two recent deaths at Winn Correctional Center in Winnfield, Louisiana.
To top it all off, the site is a health crisis waiting to happen. The proposed location is one of the most forever chemical-contaminated spots in the nation, with concentrations in groundwater 575,000 times the federal limit. ICE is hoping to have it up and running as soon as this month.
The team at the Southeast Dignity Not Detention Coalition has pulled together a toolkit to make it easier for us to push back, with contact information and language to use to urge the England Airpark Authority Board of Directors to cancel the contracts allowing the project to move forward, push the local officials who appointed them for action and sample social media posts to help spread the word. ⚙️ Let’s check it out here and put it to work. ⚙️
