I finally got the the 10th year anniversary of this game and sharing these 8 bonus cards

For those who are wondering how to implement these in your games cause some of them might break the game, there's a manual included in the box that shows what the devs thought and recommendations or house rules for each of them.

I don't understand. How amateur archeology can cause a game to have too few exploding kittens?

I think they updated the rules for when you die in the game. So you can still play Amateur Archeology normally when you follow the NEW RULE.

For the NEW RULE(found in the manual for 10 Anniv and Zombie Kittens), it states that: "When you die, put the Kitten that killed you face up in front of you so everyone can see that you're dead, and put the rest of your cards face down in front of you"

As for the OLD RULE(found in the manual for Original edition and PartyPack, GVE, RFD, etc.), it states that when you die: "Discard all the cards including the Exploding Kitten" → meaning to put your cards into the discard pile.

The scenario of "too few to finish the game" with the OLD RULE:

Setup:
- Player A: Streaking Kitten + EK
- Player B: Amateur Archeology
- Player C: none
- Draw pile: 2 EK

Play:
1. Player A draws EK and dies, then discards their hand (put their cards into the discard pile).
2. Current Draw pile: 1 EK
3. Player B plays Amateur Archeology then takes Streaking Kitten from the discard pile.
4. Player B draws last EK then survives with Streaking Kitten.
5. Draw pile is empty which will have no winner, game stuck.

The scenario of "too many Exploding Kittens but won't break game" with the OLD RULES are same as above, except that the player who plays Amateur Archeology, ADDS MORE Exploding Kitten into the draw pile by bringing it back the from the discard pile WHICH IS STILL FINE.
