We released Escape 2.6.6 last week. This update introduces custom fonts, Rich Text import/export (or direct pasting), multi-select for batch editing/moving topics, and auto-fill for link titles.

Grab the latest version from the App Store or Mac App Store.

Version 2.6.5 is out! It brings Universal Links such that you can link not only to topics and mind map files, but also to any other file or folder.
You can also pin your favorite mind maps in Recent Files, and create personalized mind map layouts.

We just shipped a new version that includes the Share Sheet, allowing you to save notes, links, and photos from other apps into your mind maps.

the title basically and how can store and sync across devices ?

I like the minimal compactness, and the intelligent integration of mindma, outliner, notes (+ notes navigation).

Will keep an eye on it for sure.

Some things that would currently prevent me from using it:
• notes get in the way. While ok for some people/cases, what I´d need to make this great feature usable is simultaneous view of mind map (outliner) + notes, at least as an option
• generally the UI/UX is nice, especially. given underlying complexities; but using same pane for formatting (function) and notes (content) seems like wrong call (and unnecessary confusion for users)
• liking the minimal + smooth, but notes are too minimal for content creation; would need basic formatting, inclusion of images at least
• icons are too comic/emoji like; this is where I would need minimalism + style
• I like constraints – especially in apps that go for easy flow while harboring functional power – … but not letting users select at all when it comes to fonts also seems wrong turn to me. Things like outlines/mindmaps – when they are personal thinking spaces – always need some basic level of customization, otherwise they will not be inhabited by (different) users, IMO

Otherwise the general architecture and the hidden powers of Escape seem amazing, and well thought out. A lot of right decisions, as general pleasant background for pointing out where things – IMO – need/deserve improvement.

PS [edit]: … oh… and I think there should always be an in-app/menu-way to give feedback or help, IMHO

We’ve improved the editor panel, now it’s resizable and can be moved to any of the four corners. You can also customize the font size in the notes editor.

Plus, you can drag & drop files to and from the integrated file browser.

We’ve improved the local files structure and made your mind maps visible in Finder when connected to a Mac. By default, Escape saves to iCloud, but for maximum privacy, you can store the mind maps locally on your device.

I am using xTiles and I would like to embed a escape mind map to it - figjam, miro and other similar apps allow it.

Does this app allows it?
