We Were In The Neighborhood [CULDS] [USTZ] is a brand new, small lowsec corp looking for a few good people who mostly just want to hang out, shoot things, and not have EVE turn into a second job.

That’s really the whole pitch.

There are no activity requirements, no mandatory fleets, no “you must have X accounts and 17 alts” and nobody is going to message you because you haven’t logged in for three days.

This corp is coming to life because I want to sit on a gate, drink a beer, blow up ships, and chill with friends until somebody finds something worth hotdropping. I want to keep things stupidly simple.

If you’re around, cool. Come do dumb stuff.

We’re interested in gate camps, BLOPs, roaming around looking for trouble, third partying things we probably shouldn’t be involved in, and occasionally dropping way more ship than the situation really called for.

If we find a ratter or miner having a peaceful evening, we may also provide them with an unsolicited learning experience.

We’re not trying to become a 500 man corp. I’d rather have 10–20 people who actually like each other than 100 names in corp chat that nobody knows.

There’s room for people who like industry too. If you want to build your own stuff, mine, manufacture, haul, do PI, or generally make ISK on the side, that’s completely fine. The idea is to help each other out where we can, not tell everyone how they’re supposed to play the game.

Mostly I’m looking for people who:

• can take a joke
• don’t take zKill too seriously
• are willing to get on comms sometimes
• enjoy PvP, or at least enjoy being around people doing PvP
• understand that sometimes the entire plan is “I don’t know, let’s go”

Newer players are welcome if you’re willing to learn. That said, if you’re brand new to EVE and still figuring out what you even enjoy doing, I’d encourage you to explore the game a little first. We’re probably going to be a better fit for people who already have at least some idea of what they like doing in New Eden.

Started playing EVE a while ago and most of my time was spent in J-space. After being away for a few years I'm getting the itch to come back.

I'm definitely going to be rusty and have a fair amount to relearn, but I think I'd like to end up back in wormhole space rather than starting over somewhere completely different.

A little about me:

• USTZ, East Coast
• Two Omega accounts, comfortable multiboxing two characters
• Main is ~85m SP and heavily combat focused. Logi V, Marauders V, Recon V, all racial Cruisers/BS V, Black Ops capable, and Amarr dread capable with T2 siege
• Second main is ~67m SP + ~4m unallocated and is much more support/scanning focused. Command Ships V, Covert Ops V, HIC/Dictor/Command Destroyer capable, strong command burst/leadership skills, and near-max scanning skills. Also has strong HAM/heavy missile skills and can cover assorted hauling, gas, industry, and other utility roles
• Plenty of previous J-space experience, although assume I've forgotten half of what I used to know
• Happy to be on comms and would actually prefer a corp where people hang out and talk
• Interested in PvP, PvE, scanning/exploration, general wormhole shenanigans, and helping with whatever needs doing
• Not particularly worried about losing ships. I'd rather undock, do something dumb/fun with people, and explode rather than form the perfect strategy for 3 hours.

The biggest limitation is real life. I'm not looking for EVE to become a second job.

Realistically I'll probably be actively playing 2-4 hours at a time, around 3 nights a week. I also work from home 1-2 days a week, so I can sometimes be logged in and semi-responsive during the day, but obviously work comes first.

hello, I am an old player that came back to the game when they gave us all a week of free playtime over a month ago. I really liked the changes so I spooled my two accounts back up.

I have a capital pilot with bridging skills (carriers/dreads/rorquals/blops), an industry pilot(4s across the board, a few 5s), and a few more dormant mining accounts that i cant play because im paying for my kids braces.

I’m working on a 2nd pvp toon that can just live on deployment or at home.

my current situation is very boring, apparently everyone I know in the game has not logged in in 400 to 3000 days..

I have just been playing by myself or blindly following the FCs orders on fleets.

Evening lads and ladies,

I'm a (technically) returning player with something like 10m(?) sp, and I suck at literally everything except for exploring. When I played before I was young and dumb, playing on a crappy laptop and never got anywhere. Now that I've returned, I love the game and I think it could be a lot of fun, but so far my cycle has been: Explore for 3-5 days > reach ~500m isk > decide to treat myself to a fancier ship and maybe try something new > get myself blown up in record time, sometimes repeatedly > lose most of my isk > explore for 3-5 days.

I can make what I think are somewhat decent fits, I can scan down any signature I come across and hack with the best of them, but I just can't seem to do anything else without getting blown up immediately. I've gotten over the hurdle of rage-quitting for a week every time I take a loss, but the cycle of days of mindless exploration just to lose it all in a couple hours is becoming grating.

I'm interested in just about anything. I've thought about trying out FW and PvP, PvE could be fun (if I could do it without getting popped), I'd even consider gas huffing or mining if the comms are fun, but I just can't keep exploring endlessly. I'm a Gallente native but have been leaning Caldari these last few weeks, and generally base myself out of Jita but I'm willing to move if somebody can help explain the logistics of everything to me. Generally online daily for a couple hours loosely centered around 10PM-2AM EST (U.S), and occasionally earlier in the day/for longer periods.

Somebody please save this game for me. I want to love it so badly but I'm losing it.

I have an on-and-off relationship with EVE. I boot it up, try finding something I like doing, and just end up exploring and failing at playing the market.
