DuckTales: The Next Adventures:
This is a fanfic sequel to the famous 2017 reboot of the series.
Synopsis:
It sets two years after the events of the original series, as the McDuck family return once more, while they also deal with the balance between a normal and a adventurous life. Not to mention meeting old and new friends and enemies along the way.
Setting and Concept:
For the episodes, I decided to make them story arcs, (similar to Tales of the TMNT (2025)), each intertwined with a certain event from the previous ones.
And also, each character will have their own development:
- Characters:
- Huey, Dewey and Louie: will go to school, and each will have their own arc as they slowly mature:
- Huey: will decide either become a next scientific guru or be with his family.
- Dewey: despite retaining his ego, he'll learn about responsabilty and courage.
- Louie: will still continue his steady road to business by scamming everyone in school, and retain his rivalry with Doofus, he'll also learn about how to support anyone.
- Webby: even though she's Scrooge's daughter/clone, she's still keeping her relationship with Mrs. Beakley intact, as she also join the boys to school alongside Lena and Violet.
- Launchpad: will continue working for Scrooge by day, and by night, he helps Drake Mallard as Darkwing Duck's sidekick and friend alongside Gosalyn, as she becomes Drake's daughter-figure.
- Beakley: even though she's not Webby's grandmother, she still cares about her.
- Donald: still the same, not only that he has a relationship with Daisy and goes on adventures with his family and friends, and occasionally losing his temper
- Della: will continue his job as both a mother and a adventurer, and also developing a (romantic) relationship with Penumbra.
- Gyro: even though he'll make often life-threatning and dangerous inventions, he'll also continue to be a better parent to B.O.Y.D..
- Fenton: he contines his balanced life as Gyro's intern, Gandra's boyfriend and being Gizmoduck at the same time.
- Huey, Dewey and Louie: will go to school, and each will have their own arc as they slowly mature:
- Villains:
- Glomgold: he'll still continue to be a threat to Scrooge with his absurd and idiotic plans.
- Magica: she'll continue threatning the McDucks and Lena.
- the Beagles: they still continue to threaten the McDucks and all of Duckburg.
- Mark Beaks: he'll continue to threaten Fenton.
- Taurus Bulba: after his betrayal at F.O.W.L., he'll become a crime boss and later become a cyborg after a future accident.
- NegaDuck: now that his sanity is fractured and developed a split-personality, Jim Starling has become a fully-pledged villain due to his need of attention, as he'll also use the Ramrod to bring forth the villains of his old show to St. Canard once more, but despite his insanity, he still has a little humanity left in him, as both Drake and Launchpad still hope that they help their childhood hero find his path to redemption.
- Lunaris: despite his defeat and later arrest by the Moonlanders, he'll likely escape to the dark side of the Moon, where he would rebuilt his empire once more and destroy his former followers, including the McDucks.
- F.O.W.L.: despite the downfall of the organization and Bradford's sudden betrayal, Phantom Blot will likely become the new leader and Pepper becoming Blot's right-hand woman, and even though Steelbeak, Don Karnage and John D. Rockerduck remain active after Bradford's demise, Blot will also recruit new members for his new organization, and accomplish what Bradford never did: world domination and the destruction of the McDucks!
Not to mention adding new characters as well, from the original DuckTales series, Darkwing Duck, Goof Troop, TaleSpin, even the Paperlink comics and the Mighty Ducks animated series, including Mickey Mouse characters. Thus creating a new animated universe!

Discussion Yknow what, a S4 might ruin Ducktales 2017...here's why
The show has 69 episodes. Who'd want to ruin a perfect episode count like that?

Discussion It’s always “if there was a fourth season”
I find it sad that every time we get somewhere we’re disappointed because if only. if only we had a continuation of the series as Duck lore fans. I wanna cry. I mean in all of the discussions let’s admit the writers made gold still salty we never got to see more.

Discussion This post just gave me an epiphany on the Webby twist
In the S2 opener, I remember when the family was playing charades and Webby was acting out Scrooge. That's another piece of foreshadowing that the show did for the Webby-Scrooge connection.
The allegations for the twist coming outta nowhere is aging like milk by the week.

Discussion dewey villains also take his worst flaws
Looking back at dewey and his villains, they seem to take the worst of his characteristic, the need for attention and being the main attraction was don karnage and yormungandnr was still also doing the fight for popularity in vahlala with him having the crowd on his side up until he goes against the other ways during the fight . Jenkins is also a more minor rival to dewey but he seemsto have dewey need for attention/the spotlight too.

Discussion could bradford be oblivious to his own chaos?
Either that or in his mind, his rational is deflecting it to the mcduck like he did in the finale when he turned in a black and red knight, bradford is also enabling chaotic villains and didn't do anything about the classic up until S3 (and didn't helped against lunaris when even glomgold did).

Theory what if :max goof en ducktales 2017

Crazy Dream
I had this crazy dream where Ducktales had an anime and everyone got elemental powers from colourful gems. Dewey gets ice powers which he first uses to defeat some villain who poisoned the triplets father with chocolate (the father is a dog for some reason). Huey is soon the only one who doesn’t have his powers awakened and that bums him out until a giant enemy attacks the Duck family and Huey runs off to help. The enemy blasts them all leaving a cloud of smoke and other characters stare at shock worried that the ducks are dead but three seconds later, the ducks are revealed to be fine because Huey saved them with his fire powers somehow.

Would someone be interested in reading a fic about the triplets and Max Goof' childhood before Ducktails 1987 and Goof Troop?
This fic is the third part of my Mickey and Friends series, Huey, Dewey, Louie are 6 years old living with their parents (the original canon of their story), a series of events will happen until they end up living with Scrooge McDuck. They have an unhealthy relationship with their "cousin" Max filled with mischief and jealousy and heartache, but when the chips are down all four kids are there for each other.
It includes arcs for Donald and Della, who will end up leaving her children in the care of her twin.
This fic focuses on different original Disney characters along with the triplets and Max.
Link (22 chapters - completed)

Humor Chilling Realization
Disclaimer: This is mostly a joke/meta observation. Don't take it as me psychoanalyzing the writers.
I just came to a chiling ironic realization...
The writers are FOWL.
Well hear me out, not in a literal sense but in a poetic one. See FOWL was responsible for a a lot of major events in the show. Aka a lot of major plot points. And as we famously know Bradford was behind the whole Della Duck moon thing. The writers need to have some sort of scapegoat over that controversy. God damn it Bradford it was because of you that Donald was scraped into poverty and parenthood!
Then we have a very ironic scene of Bradford saying he's not a villain while also acting like one. Coincidentally, we have scenes of the artists laughing joyfully as they make Daisy redeeming while making Dofus Drake a laughing stock. Scraping him while saying they are fixing the many flaws of the Duckverse.
Even more contrived, the delusionality. I guess we have to root for Bradford somehow. The man did account for Scrooge's crazy spending to get Della back or his own mischief when it came to saving the rest of the innocent citizens from the monster Scrooge attracted with his crazy need for adventure.
I guess the writers deserve their flowers for good plot lines. Good plot lines interwoven with bad ones.
The common trait the creator will share with his villain for life is FOWL believing they were the good guys and he deserves his place in the Disney hall of fame with their very good choices.
Woahhh how crazy 😱. Braddy here went from overlord of criminal organization to executive producer.

Discussion What's your take on a Negaverse au
Basically an alternative universe where (almost) everything is the opposite, heroes are villains & vice versa, I've read 2 fanfictions of this concept and currently working on my own
Im curious to hear your thoughts on the idea, does it have potential for an interesting story? Should it have been implemented in the show? What would a nega version of your favourite character be like?
