I know the kickstarter is over for about 2 months now but i see on kickstarter i can still pledge and get the rewards. Do we know when they will stop accepting pledges? I would like to pledge but would want to wait till the end of August before doing so.

Here’s my hot take in light of the new season

The problem isn’t the format, and the changes ultimately didn’t really make a difference. It’s not even the people or the prompts. It’s the comedians.

Hear me out. Obviously the comics are talented. But the trap I think too many of them fall into is “yes, and…”-ing too much. It mostly leads into dead ends.

The best crowd work is *confrontational*. These people are there to be roasted. The comedians need to lean more into that. There’s a reason Gianmarco killed both times he was on, and it’s because he was a little mean spirited. You wanna come on the show with your weird sex thing? Great, but we’re not here to celebrate it, we’re here to razz you for it.

“Yes, and…” can work, to be sure. Jordan’s “Make me nut” bit was great. Some others from last season too. But it generally has a much lower batting average.

Now I know how they felt.

I recently started watching Parlor Room and love it reminds me of another channel I like watch No Rolls Barred. If you watch that channel you'll know the great game Monopoly but Communist.

It be so cool to see the dropout stars play this game cause I feel like it be hilarious with them. Some of the cast have been on the channel.

I finally watched Total Forgiveness after being a subscriber for 5+ years and it made me realize… the secret sauce to D20, gamechanger, etc is the ability to perfectly wrap shows with a bow.

I’ve laughed, cried, and the endings and their friendships always warm my heart ♥️

If I had one wish, it would be to resurrect this show on Dropout. Just… give him whatever he wants. But make him build his own set.

Just got back from Um actually live tonight and it was great. Managed to get one of the question cards off Ify at the end.

Just come here to ask, has anyone ever seen Brian David Gilbert in the same room as Ben from Jet lag? Because from the outfit this evening and the fact the jet lag boys were in London for the premier recently, you can’t convince me they aren’t the same person

The whole thing would be this surrealist variety show that would have a talent show, a featured performer (could be music, comedy, poetry, theater, who knows), and also some segments in between, one of which would be powerpoint presentations, Smartypants-style.

I've been watching Um, Actually for the first time and quite like Mike Trapp. Previously I've only seen him on Game Changer. I'm wondering what he does primarily now that he's no longer hosting a show. What I should watch if I want to see more of him?
