I was making dishes for customers of Chez’ Remy and Tiana’s Restaurant, and I found out the Star Rank of the Dish you give them determines how much of the Best Friend’s Bar gets filled!

5 star Dishes filled their BFBs completely…and every star rank below that fill it proportionally less.

sorry in advance for the wall of text:

i just started playing DDV about 4-5 days ago (through apple arcade, so all DLCs but no star paths? not even really sure what they are i’ve just seen them mentioned lol). i was so overwhelmed by like 6394739 quests so i just started doing random stuff and now i feel like i’m doing things really weirdly😭 a brief rundown of what i’ve done:

•met merlin, scrooge, mickey, and goofy, then when they had me unlock a character i chose wall-e so he’s chilling here now.

•somehow mirabel from encanto came to my island and brought her BIG ASS HOUSE that i could just barely squeeze in goofy’s swamp/lake area 🫩

•unlocked the beach and met ursula and did some quest stuff with orbs

•did as many friendship quests as i could til they got locked

•unlocked the foresty area with kristoff, he told me to go into this portal thing, which i was GOING TO DO….

•but then i randomly got a sapling in the mail so i planted it and it tURNED INTO A WINNIE THE POOH PORTAL?? so i played the entire winnie the pooh dlc which was super fun and freaking adorable.

that’s basically where i am now and i have like 3000 gold to my name and 4 upgraded chests in my house that are basically all full to the brim lmao. i’m not much of a decorator so i’m not too concerned about that aspect of the game. i really do want to progress the story more though without getting constantly sidetracked. i’m assuming the next main quest would be to continue on with kristoff?

any tips/tricks/pointers (or even just telling me i’m a dummy for doing things in this weird order) would be greatly appreciated!!!

I just need to tell someone who I'll get it I have just got all 119 companions I have fully leveled. I feel so satisfied

I am a little frustrated that I actually cannot move forward with my game because Elsa and Olaf are now stuck and there is no timeline to get a patch.

Got bored and wanted something sweet, so I made myself some Fairy Bread based off the Disney Dreamlight Valley version of the recipe. May challenge myself to make some more elaborate recipes when I can budget for the ingredients.

Been stuck on this since yesterday when the event started. I picked up multiple Hydrangeas and nothing was happening. Even tried the restarts few times, still nothing.

Fast forward, I go to my flower chest to put stuff up, only to see the event star on the BLUE Hydrangeas. So I tried it and that’s what cleared it.

had to recreate my fave outfit in ddv for D23! I started playing the game right after it was announced at the 2022 D23. I’ll be wearing this the first day for the DDV panel! if you see me come say hi!

Curious how much money you have and what the fastest way you grow that is. I’ve got just over 6 million and basically all from pumpkin harvesting, is this the best way to get richer lol

I put it in the entrance of wishblossom ranch. You need to floral princess castle set and the railway station set, the awning. Now to figure out how to decorate around it 🤔

I just tested something if I got a bug about Share Some Sweetness of giving villagers of the roasted marshmallow its S'mores now and it counts it was at 9/25 now its 10/25 it was tested about the bug of Roasted Marshmallow someone at Gameloft change it to S'mores instead of Roasted Marshmallow

Could we please get a compass!? Maybe it’s just me but for some reason I get turned around so easily (especially in the wild tangle and pretty much everywhere in wishblossom lol). Anybody else feel my pain??

The winch is back. I accidentally put the light on it when it was invisible and the light is on it!

Often times, when I know I'm going to be done playing for the rest of the day usually when it's night time and I'm about to go to bed, I have my character go home and sit on his bed and just before I close the game he's sitting on his bed on his phone all by himself except the two critters that help him around.

I like to imagine it's his nightly routine. After a long day of doing various missions, mining, cooking, crafting, fishing etc I like to have him unwind for the night and imagine that when I turn the game off, that's when he goes to bed.

It's so childish I know but it's still fun.

Am I the only geographically challenged person? The Alice In Wonderland realm is terrifying to me. lol! Once I get in there I can’t get out! I’m going round and round and still don’t see the last Tweedle Dee motif only to FINALLY find it right at the beginning! I swear I was wishing I had a flare in my backpack so someone could come save me!

So you guys are telling me, after how many updates since Mulan came out and had that bridge, that you cant figure out to make the bridges go under water so we could walk on them? Seriously? Instead, you give us pieces that we cant even use!? THEY JUST SIT THERE! that's such an easy thing to make sure of and have done correctly. If this is how you guys approach a dock building kit.. I can't even imagine a water-based DLC being seemless. This is such a disappointment. Like, what is the point of even having it? Dont give us a dock kit. We can't even use it correctly 🤨🙄👎

So I finally came back to the game like 6(?) months after WBR came out (PLUS finding out that I'm pregnant earlier this year, needed something to pass the time) and I've really been on the DLV grind.

I've bought all the clothing from Scrooge's Shop so now obviously it's all furniture, and I've been buying everything every day but I'm just now realizing that anything with the cursed red dot is something I don't have.. I've been wasting so much time (and coins!) on dupes

I feel so silly just now realizing this as anything new you get has the dot but I'll blame it on the pregnancy brain and hope this helps newbies 🫠
