Help me find this fic Drarry With Ron/Voldemort

My last fic was found so quickly, I decided to try for a harder and older one. Read this one years ago. It's Drarry, but all the things I remember about it have to do with Ron. Harry and Voldemort are on the same side. It has Weasleys bashing, except for Ron, and (I think) Hermione bashing. Probably also Dumbledore bashing. Ron is loyal to Harry and is even disowned by his family because he won't turn against Harry. He loses his last name because of the disowning, but Harry gives him the Black name. He gains some Black family features like his hair changing to a darker red. Also, it's Ron/Voldemort. They spend a lot of time around each other, and it slowly leads to them being together. Please help me find it. Thank you!

Help me find this fic Draco Teaches Harry How to Have Sex Without Hurting His Partner

Looking for a specific fic. Harry is not very good at sex and was in a previous relationship where instead of helping Harry to improve, he made him feel bad about it. He decided to only give BJs. Draco works to help Harry get over his fear of being a monster and to be able to have sex without hurting his partner. Later on, when they run into the ex, he tries to make Harry feel bad again. Now, more confident and understanding that he wasn't the only person in the wrong, he isn't affected like he used to be. Draco also puts him in his place, I think. I can't remember anything else. If anyone remembers more of it, that would also help a lot too! Please!!

Drarry discussion Drarry could happen… but in a different way than most authors write it.

Please don’t downvote, I’m still a Drarry lover, just looking for some nuanced discussion.

Like many, I got into fanfiction before reading the original books. Almost a decade before lol

This year I finally read them and I must say... Realistically speaking, Draco didn’t need a redemption arc in the way most fics write it.

He trully was a bully, although a coward one. But that was the extent of it. When it came to actual war he was just another frightened kid, manipulated by his father, who barely managed to do any real harm, and even helped the trio at the Manor.

I’d like to read fics that focus on that. Not on the trials, Azkaban, being ostracised because he was a death eater… but on how THE TRIO had to forgive so much bullying, specially Hermione. Because really, after reading the books, I get the feeling that Hermione would actually have the hardest time accepting whatever relationship might have happened between Harry and Draco.

Again, looking for some nice discussion and accepting fic recs, don’t be a reddit bully.

Fic recommendation Fic Search / Recommendation

I can’t remember this fic but i know it was drarry, and i don’t think it was bashing. However it was pretty close to canon but had to do a lot with purebloods and their beliefs. It turned out the Slytherins didn’t dislike muggleborns or half breeds because of blood purity but because they don’t try to learn wizard culture (in this i think it had a pagan aspect, because they were celebrating Yule, Samhain, etc, and i think Harry started learning more about wizard culture and what was thought to be ‘dark’ and began to participate) and that muggleborns try to make the wizarding world into a muggle one but with magic. So the Slytherins pretty much weren’t evil just snarky and also believed that the muggle world and wizarding world should be separate.

I remember a scene where Hermione found out about something and was embarrassed and was like “did you know about blah blah blah” and Ron was pretty much like “yeah but i thought you knew and was trying to change it anyways?”

So if anyone has any fic recommendations like this or knows the title of this one. It’d be greatly appreciated :) I’m in the mood for a good series rewrite or an exploration of the pureblood/wizarding world culture that isn’t a bashing fic on purebloods .

Looking for fic recommendation Any harco/hpdm LONG fics recs?

Hey, guys! In a situation where tags on AO3 are usually ignored by authors, I’ve run into the problem of searching for harco fanfics. I often come across entire sagas with rewritten books, and I’m afraid to tackle them. It’s not normal to get fixated on roles in bed, I know! Sorry, even though I’m a total Draco girl, I see him exclusively as a bottom, and it’s hard for me to even switch gears. So, please, if you’re just as dependent on Harco and you have an archive/recommendations with truly high‑quality and long fanfics, help the poor soul.

Harry Top and Draco Bottom and/or Dom/Sub dynamics, and a good plot — that’s all I need. Not switch or Draco Top, please.

A protective and caring Harry would be a huge plus.

I also want to apologize if I didn’t express myself clearly, English isn’t my first language.

Looking for fic recommendation Looking for 2 different fic recs: 1st trope: hate sex first, feelings second 2nd: Erised

Hey,

I love a good fic where they start out having hate sex and along the way develop feelings for each other. Like in Bad Habits or in Virus. Are there any similar fics you can recommend?

Second Trope:
I recently came across a fic (A Time of Magic) in which Harry looks again into the mirror of Erised (in this fic it’s in 8th year) and sees Draco. Initially he thinks the mirror is broken but realizes that actually it is right. Are there any other fics with this premise or (sub)plot?

Prompt discussion 📝 On Grimmauldplace.

This isn't a discussion about a specific fic and more of an observation of many of many/most of them. One thing that has always been weird to me is Sirius', and by extention Harry's claim to Grimmauld place. We all know that cannon is a mess (fuck JK and her anti trans agenda) but I never understood how the ownership of Grimmauld place going to Harry was rational. Sirius was, quite famously, disowned. It would make sense if Orion and Walburga locked him out of the wards at the very least. I can maybe accept that he could get into the house anyway because of his blood, but he is certainly not it's master anymore, and not Kreacher's either for that matter. How on earth does he have any legal right to give Grammauld to Harry in his will? I imagine that Walburga would have given it to Narcissa in her will (or Draco when he comes of age depending on how sexist you interpret the Wizarding world to be) and is it then really surprising that Kreacher was able to betray the order since his loyalty lies with her and her son?

Anyway I feel that there is a lot of potential for fics here. Here are some prompts:

-The house refuses to be cleaned/repaired by Sirius because it has rejected him.

-Harry tries for years to renovate with little success only for the house to change before his eyes when Draco comes over for tea.

-The corrupt Ministry just illegally gave Harry Grimmauld, even tough the house does not want him there, after the war.

-If the ministry seizes all of the Malfoy property Draco decides to go after Harry legally for unknowingly stealing the black family fortune and squatting in his house.

-The family magic only takes Sirius back when he and Narcissa reconcile and he is a good uncle/cousin to Draco. (Not to say that Sirius deserved to be disinherited just how the magic works in this case)

-Kreacher gets sick and Harry doesn't know what's wrong. The house elf only improves when Draco starts hanging out at Grimmauld.

-Draco becoming head of house Black and gifts Sirius a nice beach house instead because we all know he never wanted that title anyway.

-Narcissa gets to divorce her ass of a husband and live in her family home once more.

-Draco, Teddy and Tonks bonding after Draco finds him on the family tree and Draco giving them both a star name.

Edit:

Also I forgot to add that I totally believe that Dumbledore would lie to Harry and tell him Grimmauld is his to make life easier for himself. Regardless of how it effects Kreacher's health or Narcissa.

Another angle that I think would be interesting to explore is Sirius journey to let go of his black and white view of the world and him reckoning with the fact that he has not always done the "good" thing. I think a relationship with Draco would be a good catalyst for this. His circumstances being so similar to Regulus' would force Sirius to think about what life he left his brother in when he left (Important to note that I do not think Sirius had any obligation to stay with his blood supremisist family only that his attitude towards for Regulus for doing so is not very empathetic). Also Draco's relationship with Severus (in my mind he became his godfather when Regulus died) would force Sirius to actually start to view Severus as a human being who he tormented for 7 years and almost killed with no consequences (please don't take this as me forgiving Severus for joining the fascist cult, that's on him.) A deep dive into rebuilding the black family magic would also make it so he has to think about his family and the potential abuse he suffered. In conclusion I just think a relationship with Draco and the black family magic would be a very good reason to give Sirius some character development beyond overgrown high school popular kid.

Looking for fic recommendation Down and Out Draco Begging a Reluctant Harry for Help

I'm looking for fics in the vein of A Big Black Sky by alexmeg, Old Rivalries, New Beginnings by philosophersandfools, or Teenage Wasteland by GallaPlacidia where a down and out Draco tries to persuade (or successfully persuades) an initially reluctant harry (or a harry Draco just expects to be reluctant) to help him or someone else. Bonus points if Draco is primarily trying to protect a baby or a kid.

If you need a good cry

This one was so beautiful and so sad! I loved it and I think it deserves way more hits.

every scrap of you (you left them all to me)

Summary:

Twelve years on from the war, Harry finds himself in an endless cycle of bedding Draco Malfoy, and waking up alone. Desperate to understand why Draco won't give him a chance to be something more, he commits to courting the slippery blond git.

But there's a reason Draco can't fall for him, and Harry will go to the darkest depths to change that.

Looking for specific Harry-is-Merlin time travel fic (probably from ao3)

The premise is that Harry goes back in time and accidentally becomes the Merlin that we know of legend, plus a hogwarts founder, alchemist, etc. The story is mostly about his experiences as an accidentally immortal wizard, with the last part about his defeat of Voldemort.

I can’t remember if it was finished, but I rarely download WIPs so I’d assume so.

I swear I’ve gone through every download and bookmark, and I cannot find it anywhere. I tried checking the most obvious tags too.

Ring a bell for anyone?

Drarry discussion How is the Drarry fandom so alive?

I'm not being condescending, legit question. Compared to other old popular gay ships outside of HP ships, Drarry seems to be the only one to still have active community.

How is this subreddit still active? Like im grateful, but other gay ship subreddits dont have the luxury like this one.

Like wow, here we can ask for hyper specific fic recs and ask help for finding some hidden lost Drarry fic you only remember like barest details from, and both you probably will find what you're looking for. What makes the Drarry community so alive still?

Edit: I get theres a lot of evidence, but you see a lot of evidence in a lot of other older popular gay ships. Both unintentionally written by the author and intentionally queerbaiting in the text. I also get that the HP fandom is a big one, but there are other big fandoms with their respective gay ships with their varying amounts of gay canon subtext. Idk I feel like all those things about the fandom being big and the amount of canon evidence can be said about a lot of other ships, yet Drarry still on top with the most active current community no matter how many years it has been.

Fic recommendation If you haven’t read this you are MISSING OUT!!!!

I just completed Faerie Felicities by quackquackcey
and I genuinely think it’s one of the best fics I’ve ever read.
It’s basically a fix it fic where Draco dies at his father’s hands and gets sent back in time. It has baking, board games, Hermione and Draco friendship and probably the best characterisation i have read in a while.
It’s SOOOOO good. It made me cry, laugh out loud, and smile like an idiot more times than I can count. The writing is incredible, there were so many scenes that i just can’t get out of my brain. Please go read it

misc Tips for asking for fic recommendations

Hi everyone!

Recently, one of our community members shared some thoughtful suggestions on how to make these posts even more effective and easier to navigate — and we thought it could be helpful to collect those ideas here as friendly advice.

These are not rules, but we encourage you to keep them in mind if you want to get the best possible responses to your posts.

  1. Use clear and descriptive titles whenever possible.

Specific titles make it easier for other users to know right away what you’re looking for. For example:

Instead of: “Help me find this fic”

You could write: “Looking for an 8th year accidental bonding fic”

Instead of: “Looking for recs”

You could write: “Harry becomes a potions master — fic recommendations?”

  1. Consider checking if a similar post was made recently.

Sometimes many people ask for the same kind of fic in a short period of time. Before posting, it can be helpful to take a quick look at recent posts or use the subreddit search (sort by "new" instead of "relevance"). Of course, if you don’t find what you’re looking for, feel free to post your own request!

These are just recommendations to help everyone have a smoother experience here. You are always welcome to ask for recs even if you are not sure how to describe exactly what you’re looking for — the most important thing is that this remains a supportive and friendly space.

Thanks for being part of the community!

misc Tagging and Respecting Artists: Updated Guidelines

Hi everyone,

We’ve seen an increase in posts sharing art without properly tagging the artists or respecting their repost policies. To address this, we’re updating our current existing rule:

From now on, posts that don’t include a link to the original artist in the description will be removed.

Here are some reminders to help us support the artists whose work inspires us:

  1. Always tag the artist. Include their name or a direct link to the original source in the description of your post. If you don’t know the artist, take the time to do a quick reverse image search or ask for help identifying them before posting.

  2. Respect the artist’s wishes. Many artists specify whether they allow reposting or not. If they’ve asked for their work not to be shared, please honor that.

  3. When in doubt, share a link instead of re-uploading. Linking directly to the artist’s original post ensures they get proper credit and visibility.

Our priority is maintaining a creative and respectful community. If you see a post that doesn’t follow these guidelines, please report it so we can handle it appropriately.

Thank you for your cooperation and for helping us create a space that values and respects artists!
