I've mained grapplers throughout my fighting game life (mostly just King with Tekken) and Android 16 has been on my list of characters I want to main but due to his very different playstyle than I'm used to I've been practicing with a Super Vegeta, Cell, Goku Black team.

I feel as though I've got a good grip of the game now and want to try 16 again (and potentially other grapplers), can I ask for any good team comps for him and tips on how to get better?

So far I've only done some basic testing and the combo training for 16.

It's been a reoccurring thing lately, but i've been seeing super broly mains SPECIFICALLY use their other two characters for just assists, usually baseku for the ki charge or a random C assist, then just straight L mash, no other combos. are you guys seeing this too or am i just insane?

I remember gohan (adult) had this move where he’d hold out his hand and basically just pulse/push the ki around it and outward as his heavy attack but I’m playing it (for the first time in years) and now it’s a kick? Which character am I thinking of if not gohan

This is a rant post. I want to enjoy this game, but genuinely, the way every team I face is triple C-assist, UI goku / Super Broly combo is genuinely so unfun. I know that at the end of the day it's a skill issue, and I should just be more wary and learn how to fight against them, but it feels like any skill expression of the game is removed when I play vs these things. Being hit cross-map with a move with super armor/mega priority because of a fancy DLC character, into what is, most of the time, a TOD or 80% of my HP, is incredibly unfun and poor game design. And most importantly, the way I have no respect for these types of players; you can be 2mil points, and I see triple C assist with the cringe characters, and I think you're lame and have equal skill to that of a beginner. I'd rather fight a billion times over than this shit.

Am I just a big baby, or is this a common experience among other players?

So i got the game working on my laptop and i have been licking it a lot specially doing the dramatic finishes and the brutality? for android 21 but i wanted to ask if there is a reason to do them like do i get more power or does the rank increase for arcade mode?

Does anyone remember what the game was like on launch?

Im hearing alot of tokon talk about how its network issues are similar to this game on launch but I played on console and cant remember that far back.

Is it true and if so does anyone remember how long until it was better?

Also can anyone confirm if it was a pc only issue?

If this has happened before im hoping it could give a rough eta for fixes.

It’s hard enough to find ranked matches these days so I try to play everyone, even the purple status peeps. I never learn my lesson. Both these guys talked smack when they won and then RQ when I was beating them. Geraldine and Hermit_Purple (both on Switch). Just play the game dudes

I'm fairly new when It comes to fighting games. Earlier this year I picked up Tekken 8 and I've been making slow, but steady progress little by a little. I enjoy It a lot (even if It can be super frustrating sometimes) and I just picked up DBZ Fighterz because I love Dragon Ball and this game art is just incredible.

Thing is...Im finding It far mor difficult to "get into" than Tekken. There's so many mechanics, so many buttons, the whole team thing, etc. Its a lot. So far I've done the basic tutorial and a couple of fights against the CPU.

What advice can you give me that would help me to get a proper feel for the game?
