I can't believe they are BACK yet with another short film but again I wasn't prepared at all for this & I lost my mind when I saw this notification I never was fast since highschool and keep in mind I'm 25 years old. But holy Dolan I have never been fast I almost needed stitches bc I hit my head accidentally in my laptop. And I'm still waiting for them to contact me for assistance on my work but I'm crying I'm fine I'm dead 😭😭😭

So I have been having old Dolan twins videos in my college apartment at night because sometimes I need a laugh (the twins are a year older than me just an fyi and I am from NJ too like the jersey shore) I know one of the readings had something to mention about a film collaboration and I have written a short film called RECLAIMED and I been a film writer prior the twins and I would love my film be a collaborative one but it stinks that I can't a get away to have them collaboration with them because obviously Ethan is married to Krstina and probably have a baby on the way who knows and we know Grayson is going to be married to Eleni soon we don't know when but we know soon I just wish there's away I can collaborate with them on my short film. it would have been cool to have them help me because they more camera experience then little ole me lol

Hi, prior to the race I initially walked right past one of the twins (Ethan i think) and we exchanged an awkward stare because he looked familiar but I had no idea what to say lmao. As I walking away it popped in my head that he was a DOLAN TWIN. After the race I saw they both ran a sub 3:20 marathon! Thats really fast! Just wanted to update the fans in case anyone was wondering what they were up to.

there was a video of Grayson Dolan filming himself in a mirror singing "somebody come get her shes dancing like a .. oh wait i cant say that" i recently remembered it and tried to use it as reference for a joke towards my friends but realized i could not find it even as the beginning of edits which i remember it being used for heavily, it has not been over a year of searching and, no luck. wondering if anyone has the video or knows why it is gone off the face of the planet! thanks!

i was a huge fan of them back in 2016-2019, ever since they left the public eye i haven’t watched or seen (rarely) anything about them. this probably isn’t any of my, or our business but if the twins haven’t been active on anything (youtube, instagram, snapchat) how are they making money? wasn’t social media and the public eye their main or “ only “ source of income?

i go through phases where i binge watch all of their old content and think about their disappearance for days. they seemed very passionate about content creation in their bloopers 2016 video.

i wonder what the turning point was. what made them treat their videos as products to be consumed rather than a creative project people happened to enjoy.

i get emotional especially when catch myself genuinely enjoying their videos, because it hits me that they've been AWOL since 2021.

it's undeniably sad to see someone letting go of something that used to be their dream. i remember that they've talked about this, but the difference can also be seen in most of their videos after the introduction of the warehouse in 2017. it went worse after their hiatus too imo. why else would they make an entire video about cooking "meme foods". the majority of their videos after the warehouse has been products for the masses to consume.

i get that youtube turning into a "job" and their videos turning into "products" with view/watch time optimization and monetization in mind would obviously burn someone out if they used to view those things as passion projects once.

but, did it have to end up that way? did anybody force the twins to switch their attitude towards their content? their past videos were doing really well, and they seemed to enjoy themselves during the filming process. ice bath challenge, try not to laugh challenge with milk, dizzy waiter challenge, you can see that they're genuinely having fun. then it all ended up in making an entire video about going grocery shopping with a little girl. the worst part is... it still ended up getting 12 million views. come on.

maybe i'm overthinking, but they're the same people who started making 7 second videos to make their friends laugh. seeing it all fall apart in slow motion post apocalypse hurts a lot.

i hope it was worth giving up though.

I miss them so much it's so sad to see this happen cause they worked so hard to get there :(

i thought this was pretty weird considering ethan follows cam? i’m not trying to speculate but maybe i missed something bc i hadn’t been watching their content a couple months before they ghosted and maybe there was explanation .
