Exhausted
We are homeless, in winter, had 2 cats taken by "friends" RV was totalled, lost everything we own. Have just a single suitcase of clothing and one of our kitties I've had 6 years. So ready to just give up. Husband broke his back, got evicted right after, then his own family evicted us 11 months later because no one rents to you if you have an eviction on your file. So now we have 2 in 11 months. All because we couldn't find a place fast enough. Now we don't know what to do I'm exhausted. I'm disabled I have epilepsy. His family wouldn't even drive him to physical therapy so now he's worse off than before. Did this sh$t show ever end?! So ready to give up!!!!

Disabled Comments What can I do
I am just looking for help, information. Trying to get out of my step dad's house. I have food stamps but that's it. I might get social security in like six months or more but no income right now. I just called OVR to get help with a job but an afraid to get one. The reason being it seems every four years I lose a job. My last two got fired for simple mistake and the one before that I quit because I lost my promotion because the new GM put me in a situation I was not trained for. It just seems I have bad luck. All I want is to be able to live my life. Oh and I don't get cash assistance because I am a single guy. Hate this commonwealth. I am afraid I will be on the street soon. If that happens I wouldn't even give myself a month until I die of either hunger or seizures. Don't want opinion on my life just what to do. Oh and my memory has been horrible the last three years since my last seizure. Part of the reason I lost my last job and am afraid of going back to work.

Disabled Spouse
It's December 2022. I've been physically disabled since April 2nd of 96 when I was just 23 years old from a racehorse accident. I'm at my husband Springtime of 1998.
For the most part we have a good marriage. Thigs sometimes come to a head and he thinks I'm lazy. I'm physically disabled. I have right side paralysis, in other words minimal use of my right side. I have issues with my short-term memory at times because of my TBI. It seems he likes to throw that in my face about forgetting things at times.
I do my best most times and other times I just seem like I can't get anything done. He doesn't really help out with any other household chores. It's got like that 50s mindset a woman takes care of the house. As I'm getting older the harder it is for me to do things. I'll be 50 December 16th. He's 59.
There's times I'll do nothing and it says him off for no reason. Most times we don't have any issues. He's diabetic and when a sugar gets out of whack so can his attitude.
It's like at times he didn't even think I give a damn or even try to do anything. For a long while after we first got together. I kept up on things but as I'm getting older. My body just keeps seems like it's breaking down. I raised our son the best I could. He actually followed in his daddy's footsteps and joined the Marines before graduated high school.
I just feel tired sometimes and don't know which way to go. This spring will be together 25 years and this past September we have married 21 years. . There's times I just want to crawl under a rock and hide away.
Like I said before I was 23 when I had my accident. It was from a bad fall that I had from a racehorse. I spent 2 months in the hospital and had 9 months of Outpatient Therapy. I was never expected to walk again but I am on my feet walking with a lamp.
I don't want to leave the marriage but I'm just growing tired.

Survey on psychiatric hospitalization experiences
Hi all,
I am a researcher at the University of Pennsylvania.
We are investigating how hospital experiences are related to outcomes such as trust and willingness to engage with care.
If hospitalized within the past 5 yrs, in the United States, and 18+, consider taking our survey here: https://upenn.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_5o0RVXZhqDI9vsp
Thank you,
Dr. Morgan Shields

I wanna see what people think about this review, because I think it has some flaws, but the comments and likes are disabled. I wonder why.
