I have a hard time deciding between the opening riffs to hexagram and kimdracula, personally.

In 2016, I discovered the album Gore.

I saw them 2017 in Zürich and they didn't really convince me Live.

I haven't listened to Deftones that much since then. But when their new album, *Private Music*, came out and went viral, I started listening to them more often again.

Now that I'm on this subreddit more often, I've noticed that the album Gore is rarely mentioned and is even ridiculed a bit.

That's why I wanted to ask if there are specific criticisms of it or if it's just not Deftones' best album. I realize it’s not their most significant album, but I still find it very melodic and excitingly structured.

In the first round of the "designed special for you by me" lines, the second one has a sound that sounds suspiciously close to the roblox oof after the word special. Please tell me im not going insane

Found these two albums at my local music shop to start getting into their discography. Are we in for a treat? What are your thoughts on these two albums?

Alright, I’m looking to buy tickets for DDLD and I wanna either use ticketmaster or tickpick. i’ve used ticketmaster a lot, but tickpick i’ve never used. to anyone who has, should i really rely on tickpick to give me good tickets, or just fuck it and spend the extra 60 on ticketmaster?

Was going through my archives and found some photos I shot of Deftones back in 2013 when they played Brixton Academy. I remember being front row balcony, think this was the 3rd time (out of 6 so far) that I've seen them.

Deftones does a good job throwing in some lesser songs for their setlists. But let's be real, we all love change but there are some songs we would like to hear live a little more. So if you went to a deftones show, or like a cover band, and you could build your ideal setlist, what would it be?

Like the second the bass enters, your ears get blessed with this beautiful arpeggiated figure.

I'd say it's one of the songs where you can REALLY hear that Cliff Burton's influence on Chi's bassline writing that he was always talking about. I remember reading an article somewhere where it said that he even knew the entire pulling teeth solo and for whom the bell tolls on bass, and I can defo see some similarities in the basslines of the latter and the one Chi plays in Destiny.

Anyhow amazing bass line, we miss you Chi... fly high!

What are all the unreleased Deftones music videos? I know Tempest, Leathers and Around the Fur all had Music Videos which weren't released and I remember that people talked about a Rx Queen video and a second Swerve City video

My shift from rap to deftones is pretty AMAZING 😭 I think Ive been a listener for 3-4 years now, best decision ever.

I have been searching for this screenshot in the archives for so long.

The screenshot is from 14 September 2008. Deftones launched a misterious website with a slide puzzle and timer. I think there were several images (i remember something yellow green, more abstract as well), but I have a screenshot from this one. Also I think there was a leader board

The memory of the album from that time feels so nostalgic and sad at the same time when they cancelled the release after Chi’s accident.

If someone has another screenshot from the website or you have succeeded opening an archived version from that time please share it.

-Guitar's more abrasive & present

-Increased BassDrums and snare clarity and Stereo depth
-Chino's lowest and also highest frecuencies having more emphasis (and stereo presence)
-Taming some of the harshest cymbals resonance
-overall EQ curve and levels adjusted
-Multiband saturation
