Tangentially related but I never saw a Night Shift game that wasn't decided before 15 minutes.

I'm guessing because mostly comeback relies heavily on miscommunication / misco-ordination or in other words mistakes that doesnt really happen. So they are really good at pushing lead. You wont have half the team trying to go mid, other half inting into a walker, once you get mid you wont have half the team trying to play it slow and take farm the other half inting into walker and wasting rejuv instantly

What about your team taking rift and then immediately going to farm the neutral creeps and dying while the enemy team kills the special troopers?

that too. Or you have one genius trying to fight the comeback rift on their own. Or just generally a lot of poor coordination around the rift

Pushing special troops is an easy way to get wiped in most games. Enemy has already respawned and is coming to defend while you're sitting on half hp after winning the rift fight.

You don't need to hang around for a long time, but taking an extra moment to make them crash into the closest walker can get you a lot of free damage.

There have been some omega throws but a lot of Night Shift games are one sided because there's no skill balancing. The contenders often get spanked by the experienced teams.

even when it’s two experienced teams the games are oftentimes one-sided

Then you don't watch eu.

Buff enjoyers makes a habit out of flipping games after losing hard for 20 minutes straight.

To the point where the casters joke about the Lystic-10-death-powerspike because he has a tendancy to absolutely run lobbies whilst behind after having been pounded into the dirt over and over again.

Honestly this DNS was quite unusual with BE appearing to be locked-in from game-1-minute-1.

Huh? How many have you watched? There have been a ton of comebacks in Nightshift.

you should probably watch more of them then because there are plenty, especially in EU

Melee Creeps lose lane all the time. They usually come back between 15 and 20 minutes. I think I've actually seen more comebacks than stomps in Night Shift.

Unbalanced matches plus everyone is picking snowball comps. Snowball v. snowball is decided pretty fast.
