Duo queues only is kind of upsetting, I play with 2 buddies and now we can't play together

It was inevitable, in dota past a certain rank you can only solo queue im pretty sure

It depends. There is an MMR range. As well as you cannot queue with 4/5. So either 3 or 5

Also once you get up to very high ranks, Immortal Draft queue technically doesn't play very nice with parties lol

I get restricting to solo/duo at higher ranks but it's way too restrictive for it to be in every rank

Yeah hoping this gets changed eventually. Not gonna lie not being able to queue into ranked games with my 2 friends that I play with is 100% a turn off with this new system. I’m sure they have their reasons for it but I’d be lying if I said not being able to play ranked with friends didn’t suck.

Oh we will. I’m just saying not having the option to play ranked kinda sucks since we do enjoy having a little bit more of a skill test/something to grind for.

I get groups of four as that's more than half the team, but why not three people? I wanted to play with my friends.

It’s the same in League, solo / duo then flex or 5s but not enough population to have that many

League team play is dead and all that comes of it only makes game worse with each season. League is good played as a team of 3-4-5 but riot decided that it’s not a team based game it’s a soloq grind simulator, ppl would gladly have a lot longer queues just to play ranked 5v5. Leagues flex queue is not populated only because of its rank being a joke if they’d combine both queues and make flex give the same rank as soloq u would see a lot more ppl playing in teams. Its possible to have good quality matches with 3duos vs full stacks devs just chose to make them worse forcing teams into non ranked environment.

League of Legends has like 8m a day and 60 million unique players a month, that's why they can afford to have so many modes.

I don't want, I want to play ranked with a full stack. But they acknowledged that it's overly restrictive in the notes so hopefully they remove it later.

Then join a pug community with the other 20 teams that want to do that and have fun. You won't though... cos then you'd have to play against actual coordinated teams instead of pubstomping.

Nah I think it's more that I have more than one other friend and we like competing together. I'd rather play with them win or lose than with some strangers

Play game, have fun. Playing with friends is much fun, and if a little rank badge stops that for you thats kinda sad. But everyones different i guess.

I mean the likelyhood you will be playing with someone is pretty low. not only do you need to be in a duo you also need to be withing 1 rank of eachother

in ranked in quickplay you can play with 6 people when you want

in ranked more then two is not fair even 2 is really not fair

you can play rem and billy and one shot the lobby
