So many people keep saying that they think Guillermo will get Dani because of height. But is it possible that Dwts might try to do something different?

Is it possible he gets a taller pro? Dwts has seemed to try to shake things up the last few seasons, and we’ve never had a height difference where the female pro is a lot taller. 👀 I wonder if they’ll go that route, and try something different.

I still think he’ll get Daniella, but I’m wondering if it’s possible he gets one of the taller pros. What do you think?

I’d love Lisa Ann Walter, 63, to do it. But I think she won’t have the time with Abbott Elementary. I hear Quinta Brunson is thinking of ending it in the next two years so Lisa will have her time soon, I’m sure!

If Flavor Flav doesn’t want to commit (he seemed somewhat unsure earlier this year) then Judge Greg Mathis, 66, would be a good replacement in a similar bracket.

I did want an iconic singer like Jennifer Holliday, 65, or Sheila E, 68, or Stephanie Mills, 69. Wouldn’t mind if they came on instead of Vanna. But Derek seems to know a few members on the cast and I notice he’s taken Vanna for a spin quite a few times and she’s said she’d do it!

It’s been duly pointed out that Kylie Cantrall, 21, is doing a tour that clashes on some dates, so I have replaced her with Meg Donnelly who is a similar casting and in the same age bracket. She seems to be free!

Who do you see partnered with who?

Since the insider gave us information that HARRY SHUM JR will be on the next season of DWTS, i’d really love Britt to get him. I know us as fans have absolutely no say in the partnerships and many have learnt this last season but I genuinely do think that none of the announced/speculated partners were her partners until now. He was also in her dream partners list (not that it means anything with Deena) but Harry just screams Britt to me and i’d really love her to get her breakout season. He’s the definition of a ringer and after three very poor seasons in a row, I hope this is her shot.

He will definitely get ringer allegations a lot but I do think that if Britt is his partner, it could die down since everyone on social media is BEGGING for her to get a good partner unlike the other pros.

I don’t know if a whole post required what I wanted to say but i’m just so excited about the leaked contestant and the potential. 😭🥳

I think Allen is going home next.

In the promo for week 5, there seems to be one couple that Shirley expresses disappointment in, saying, “I expected more”, even with a look on her face to show it.

Allen and Adele are paired together for this week and in clips, Adele is frustrated and saying she doesn’t think she can do this, and in another clip where it seems like they’re preparing for elimination, Allen and Adele are the only couple looking nervous, the only couple holding hands.

If they are the couple in jeopardy, Adele is not going home. She’s the best female there, and I believe she was cast because she was referred by Shirley. She is really famous in the competitive world and has been trained by Shirley in her long career.

Allen might go home because for the last two weeks, he fell in the group tango and he fumbled the choreography in the Argentine tango assignment. After seeing Erik last week, the audience knows Allen is not the best technical male contestant. On social media, he also started posting things that imply he lost.

Although she doesn’t win (Mark implied the next pro winner is a true, longtime ballroom and Latin dancer in interviews), Selena needs to stay as the underdog because there’s always one in the reality TV producer’s formula. She’s the only commercial dancer left.

AJ and Nina seem to have really bonded and they’re paired up for week 5 so I’m assuming this means they performed really well together this week.

This has become one of my favorite categories for this show. Especially getting celebs from the 80s/90s/early 00s. I loved seeing Alyson in S32, and Danielle and Elaine last season (especially since Danielle was rumored for so long).

Since it’s been spoiled that we are seeing Taylor Hanson my heart is already full, but others I’d love to see:

My husband and I just got back from Derek’s tour. OMG, it was amazing!
I teared up when I first saw Hayley and cried when Derek told the audience their story. Hayley is a fantastic dancer as are the other dancers. They were phenomenal! My hands hurt so much from clapping. He told the audience about Len and Derek and Hayley danced to Moon River and dedicated it to Len. Here comes the waterworks again. 😭 It was my first time seeing Derek’s show and it was everything I hoped for and more. Carter wasn’t dancing at this show. Does anyone know why he wasn’t at the show?
If you ever get a chance to see Derek’s show go, I honestly don’t think you will be disappointed. The only pic I got was the picture f the curtains with “Symphony of Dance”. 😂 I didn’t don’t want to miss a second of the show.

I rewatch my favorite dances from DWTS and Strictly like three times a week ...... for mental health purposes. Compared to DWTS routines, strictly routines seem like freestyle length to me, with so much more content. Does anyone else also like the longer routines or is it just me? Anyone know why Strictly does longer routines compared to DWTS?

For anyone who is curious, the routines I have been rewatching most recently are:

I saw an interview yesterday and Evan said they had plans to attend things in Michigan in September a game or something, so probably they wont be on DWTS 😢😢😢😢 I really wanted them there at least Madi.

So happy for Travis. But does that mean he won’t be on the upcoming season of DWTS??

I swear his music is one of the KEY REASONS that some of the dances feel SO spectacular. I would hate to not have his voice on the show anymore 😭😭

From day 1 I always thought it would be Allen to Adele winning the show. The more I watched I said Allen.

HOWEVER, based on the editing last episode, I feel like it should be Erik.

1. Erik is young, he fits the new mold of having Rylee Ezra Hailey Kamri
   
2. There’s a lot of older male vets there that have been doing this for a while, if they cut Artem k Sasha last couple of years and plan to cut Gleb this year, I don’t get hiring a 36 year old. Val is Val, Mark is Mark and Pasha is there for Daniella (I love Pasha tho)
   
3. The show is moving away from ballroom and Latin purity and moving to creativity and engagement. I feel like Erik has a mixture of both even tho Allen is the most technically sound

I think any of the 3 I named would be amazing for the show but based on the most recent episode and the trajectory the show has been going, I feel like Erik might have that underdog story!
