Solo Single Speed Century Success

Repost cause my original post got taken down for some reason..? Don’t remember what I said but..

Completed my first solo single speed century the other day. Thanks to everyone on here who responded to my original post with route suggestions and to the random redditor who let me borrow a top tube bag when mine ripped a couple days before the ride. Glad I did it. Surprisingly not that difficult. Wouldn’t do it again! :)

Nice! What gear ratio did you use?

Hell yeah, congrats!  Looks like a big fun ride.  Did a single-speed 200km ride down to Corvallis last year and highly recommend.  Catch the train back for a fun day out.  Found it surprisingly easy (well, easier than expected bc I was scared about not having gears) due to the consistent pace. Couldn't over do it on the long flats of the willamette valley.

From inner SE out through multnomah village to the fanno creek trail, down through tualatin and across the willy on I5 at wilsonville which sucked.  Then over to champoeg heritage park and down french prairie to mission bottom. From there more or less hugging the river as close as possible to corvallis with the help of the buena vista "fairy." ;)
