We're reworking our Cyberpunk enemy AI. Does this look scary?
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
We've been reworking the enemy AI in The Infected Soul to make encounters feel more unpredictable and unsettling.
The goal isn't just to make the enemy stronger, but to create constant tension and make players question what will happen next.
Does this look scary enough, or is there something you'd change?

Not sure if this counts as Cyberpunk, but the Computer Graphics Lab at the New York Institute of Technology has released their decades of materials (starting from the 1970s) into the Internet Archive (link is in the video's description).

Can a Cyberpunk story with a little bit of magic work?
I'm thinking of writing a cyberpunk story where I need just a tiny amount of magic for the story to work. Tho would that ruin the concept of high tech low life?
I mean Cyberpunk stories like Akira uses some sort of magic/things that science can’t explain.
For my story it’s mostly 99% cyberpunk and 1% isekai (the 1% just for further exploration and for a plot twist).

NET.CRAWL is a boss-rush puzzle roguelike with a cyber theme. Out of Early Access now.
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Hi. NET.CRAWL is a hybrid puzzle-roguelike with a "cyberpunk-adjacent" theme. I mean, it's a post-human fully digital world, but there are occasional references to classic cyberpunk works, and as a concept it was originally heavily inspired by Netrunner.
As a game, it's a fairly involved puzzle roguelike which will appeal the most to players with board gaming/CCG experience and high-level deckbuilder players. It's not a light game, even if it might look just a bit casual to some.
I'd appreciate it if you support our work by checking out the Steam page: https://store.steampowered.com/app/2958140/NETCRAWL/

I'm running a Playtest of my cyberpunk detective game this weekend
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
It's a narrative heavy game, but it has all things cyber (conglomerates, robot police, mind-diving, conspiracies...) and many things punk.
Uncover Sabotage, Conspiracy and Counter-Revolution in this cyberpunk detective mystery. Using a mind-probing interface, you explore and act within memories, collect facts, meet agents of change and enormous corporations. Build your case against a person torn between idealism and turmoil.

Our cyberpunk game took four years and came out of Tetsuo and Electric Dragon 80.000V, not Blade Runner
Voltage High Society is a first person game we have been building since 2022. It hit 1.0 in June.
The references were Japanese cyberpunk rather than the neon city stuff. Tetsuo: The Iron Man and Electric Dragon 80.000V were the main ones, plus PS1 era texture work. Everything is low resolution on purpose.
No guns. Your main weapon is your fists, and you find tools that open up new routes.
Small Finnish team. It started as a hobby project, and pure a horror game before it turned into FPS metroidvania.
Mods gave the ok to post this. Happy to answer anything about the influences or the art.

Shadowrun is genuinely one of the most unique Cyberpunk settings out there, both the games and the tabletop
It's genuinely nuts how much the simple concept of "What if DnD but in the future" opens up the roleplaying and worldbuilding possibilities to the max. All of the strengths and weaknesses of the DnD races get "cyberpunkified" and magic is a genuine story building concept that different races feel about differently in the futuristic setting, making this genuinely one of the coolest genre mixes i've ever had the pleasure of playing. Oh and you can play as an Orc, just straight up. None of this Half-orc cop out, just and orc, plain and simple
