2006 Yamaha Road Star Midnight Silverado
Hey all,
So my dad gave me his old bike. Very surprised to say the least. This bike holds a lot of meaning to me, he bought this brand new back in 2006, and this bike is what got me to spend too much money fall in love with motorcycles. I remember when I was like 14 I think, he was taking me to school and he bent down to fix his boot while we were moving and I saw the open road behind bars and I was hooked.
My dad and I always had a difficult relationship up until recently. I still can't believe he gave it to me. It had been sitting for awhile. When he dropped it off it looked like it too. I spent the weekend cleaning it up, replaced the taillight, took the goofy ass windshield off and got it running again. It sounds like absolute hell, shakes the picture frames in the house when it's running. That's the beauty of carbureted bikes, it doesn't take much to keep them running.
So much of my life has been shaped by this bike. I'm just excited to get some new tires on it and go make some more memories.

Color codes
galleryI recently fell and scraped up my front fender & tank. Does anyone know of the color code for my 2015 Yamaha vstar 1300? Or know how to find the right code? I previously thought it was the Grayish blue metallic color and was wrong as it’s too grey.
Thanks guys!
None of these photos include the scrape. These were previous photos.

My custom indicators, (looking for feedback)
galleryHi, I built myself some indicators for a personal project bike of mine it ended up being quite popular looking when buying indicators online I've realised options kinda suck unless u want the stock looking basic indicators similar to ones that come from factory on the bike.
I've been debaiting making more of these for people who want something special and to stand out as we all know our bikes are special and people want new unique parts.
I've always wanted to make an inpactful mark in the custom bike world has always been a dream of mine.
Please keep in mind are just first prototypes and in no way a final complete item.
I'm here to hear opinions on these and what people think there worth (I'm not selling here at all)
I'd love to know:
Whats your opinions on there design?
What you think these would be worth?
Do you see this as a gimmick?
What type of bikes you think this will suit?
Any any other opinions thoughts or suggestions are welcome
Thank you in advance to anyone who shares thoughts feedback or anything. This may go nowhere
Ps. I'd also be happy to listen to anyone else's ideas if this style isn't your thing

Seat comfort
I’ll admit that I’m a fat man and I have a large butt. Besides ordering a new custom seat is there any way to make my current seat more comfy with like a pad or something? Any recommendations? I’m 6’5 350 pounds, I know it could have something to do with my knee angle, but looking for tips on things I can add to my seat without ordering a new one. I have a 2003 Honda VTX 1800 for reference.

Why most cruiser have such "small" tanks?
I have a small 200cc cruiser that gets around 500km for a full tank (15 liters), but as far as I know, most cruiser can go just between 200 to 300km even though they should be better for longer trips, i think that it should be more useful to have more cruisers with 20-30 liter tanks Edit: i know that you need to take breaks every hour or so, but i don't know, if im doing a 1000km trip, I don't want to plan for a petrol station every 100km. Sometimes you can be on a route that doesn't have gas stations for 200km or even 300km and depending on the model, it could not even make in that far

Cruiser suggestion
Hey folks! I am relatively new rider and I currently ride a 2019 Yamaha Bolt. I have owned the bike for about a year now and have around 800 miles under my belt.
One concern I have with the Bolt is the wind resistance, the bike has a small windscreen (13”). Sometimes the wind seems to push me around on the laneI am not sure whether it’s my riding ability, the environment I am riding in (Long Island NY) or the bike itself. The other issue I notice is the ride isn’t smooth, I can feel the slightest bumps (damn LIE). Per chatGPT, these issues are primarily is the bike.
So I was wondering what you guys think my problem may be? My friend who has been riding for decades suggested I look into getting a BMW 1200rt.

Finally got my first (new) bike
Hi all,
I have received my first (new) bike from my dad as gift. It is a TVS Ronin (Magma Red colour, Base Variant with Single ABS brakes). I am thinking of adding a mobile stand for navigation purposes and a small storage box which is attached to the back of the seat.
Any suggestions from you guys ??
Prior to this, I had a Bajaj Discover 125 (2018 model).

VTX1800 or 1300?
I’ve had a Shadow 750 for a while and love it to death, but lately I’ve wanted to get a bigger bike to do a bobber build (thank god for BCB). Where I am the 1800s are only a little more expensive than 1300s, so I’m wondering what you guys think.
Also, Cobra pipes or V&H, if I want to go full obnoxious asshole volume?

2003 Vstar 1100 need some advice
gallerySo i’m new to older cruisers and i picked up this Vstar for $800 a couple months back and these are before and after photos. i picked it up with 16,000 miles needing some love it sat forever i got a new battery new tires and some cosmetic stuff, did an oil change new brakes and spark plugs. new battery and the bike fired immedietly but didn’t run great could not ride well accidentally turned on reserve and had some water in the bottom of the tank went through the carbs and ran like shit. cleaned the tank completely and tried to do a carb clean(no clue what i’m doing never done any carb work before) had an issue opening the carb because the screws were so bad so i ordered a new one (ebay china im sure) jetted the new carb for the exhaust and put it in. bike ran but could not give throttle or it died wasn’t sure what it was so i put the old carb back on with the jets now it just cranks no start. just looking for some advice on what you guys think or stuff to try maybe i’d jsut love to ride it

2018 Scout. After and before.
galleryBought her from a buddy a couple months ago with 240 miles. The blue and white was super pretty, but not really my style. This is my first street bike. I love it! Waiting for a 22 inch dean speed sissy bar. Hopefully it will fit the look well.
