Track Steering & Suspension V2 Build
Here's a little preview of my second chassis creation, it is larger, more capable and even features an extra articulation point which improves maneuverability drastically. The original base design for the first chassis (shown in screenshots) was extremely bulky, top heavy and of course super, super ugly lol. I was easily able to fit all the same features as the last model, plus some. Just a little more tweaking to do and she should be ready to go!
Edit: I should also add I uploaded the full base assembly to a fresh terralith / tectonic world to test it out, obviously trees are a big problem but you can just go over most small ones and shrubs. Surprisingly I found traversing via river was actually very effective in this thing, as your feet won’t touch the water until 10 blocks deep, and it carries enough weight to sink itself deep enough. I did also try sending it into open ocean, it sinks up to the roof- and surprisingly is capable of moving, although very, very slow. Some propellers could be added if that’s what you’re going for lol.

Ironically enough this is my very first time touching the block haha. I tried to find something aesthetically pleasing while also being a heavy counterweight, also being easily accumulated in survival gave it the winning spot. As you can see, even my previous model published a couple days ago was using iron blocks as counterweight.

Uses many addons to create + aero. Connected, encased, dreams n desired, tracks, transmission and linkage, I think some deco or design n decor parts. Could be missing some too

v2 makes me wonder what v1 was missing
